Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Ausreichend Parkplatzmöglichkeit direkt vor der Unterkunft. (kurze Wege mit den Koffern) Sehr höfliche und kompetente Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber. Aussicht auf die Berge ist einmalig. In der Küche und auch sonst alles notwendige vorhanden. (Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Backofen, Waschmaschine...) Kurze Wegstrecke zu den Bergbahnen hinauf und ein lieber kleiner Dorfladen mit Touristenfreundlichen Öffnungszeiten in der Nähe.
Die Matratze war unserer Meinung etwas zu weich. Unsere persönliche Empfehlung die wir jeden ans Herz legen möchten... bucht lieber mit euren Freunden/Familie das gesamte Haus (oben/unten)! Denn je nach dem welche "Gäste" sonst noch einquartiert sind, werdet ihr eine starke Lärmbelästigung feststellen. Glaubt nicht, "dann schlaf ich halt einfach länger" denn wenn die anderen Gäste die Waschmaschine gleich in der früh einschalten, ist der Schlaf schnell vorbei. Ohrstöpsel wurden zwar vor Ort zur Verfügung gestellt (besten Dank dafür!) aber nehmt euch sicherheitshalber noch welche mit. Für mich als überdurchschnittlich große Person ist der untere Bereich etwas eng geschnitten von der Höhe. (Dusche, Türstock...)

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Die Lage und v.a. die Aussicht sind sehr schön. Das Apartment ist ganz süß eingerichtet. Die Betten waren bequem. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war sehr gut.
Leider waren am Boden und den textilen Oberflächen viele Tierhaare, was für Allergiker problematisch ist. Ein Wasserkocher wäre praktisch gewesen. Es gibt unheimlich viele Fliegen, aber leider nur am Küchenfenster ein Mückenngitter, zumindest in den Schlafzimmern wäre es auch wichtig.

Dunkler Raum, keine Liegestühle, zu schmales Bett für 2 Personen, das ‚Bergpanorama‘ wird von Bäumen verdeckt, die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Hauptstrasse und ist sehr laut

Nicht gefallen hat mir das Bett. Es war VIEL zu weich. Und es wäre cool gewesen hätte man shampoo oder so haben können. Sind kleine Punkte die nicht sehr ins Gewicht fallen

Im Obergeschoss kann es extrem laut werden. Internetverbindung zum Teil sehr schlecht. In der Küche fehlen Öl, Topflappen. Etwas viel Staub und Spinnweben.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026A beautiful little Swiss Chalet at the bottom of the Flumserberg. The host Gabriel was in reliable communication-- everything was very clear. Well, when my son and I got there, we first didn't know, which of the two spaces we had rented (there is accommodation at the ground floor and one in the first floor)-- as we first couldn't open the space downstairs, we went upstairs an tried the keys. Luckily nobody was there :-) We arrived when it was dark, so probably we would have got it right earlier. The accommodation is super cute and cosy a nice mountain style decoration. My dog came along and it was great to have a little garden in front. A very comfy set-up and very clean. Fluffy towels and nice hot, as well as ice cold water. Bus stop close by.
We liked all of it-- if I was very critical, I would have wished for a normal size sink in the bathroom-- it is spacious enough, so a bigger size would have been more comfortable with less water on the floor. Also a second kitchen towel would have been practical. Check-in time at 5PM and check-out at 10AM, was a bit late/early-- you have very little of your arrival/departure day. There was an option to extend it by paying more, but with quite a high dog flat-rate, I didn't want to spend more. The street is very busy and fast-- especially during ski holidays. So it is good to park backward for easier/safer exiting. For this reason (dangerous road), I did not go to walk with my dog from there- -as there are no places to go and all you get is the road without any side walks.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2026Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterpartei war sehr gut, die Lage ebenfalls. Das Chalet hat Charme.
Das Haus ist leider schlecht isoliert und jetzt im Winter bildet sich Kondenswasser im Innern der Doppelverglasung. Eine energetische Sanierung täte gut.

Alles ist auf das günstigste gebaut und dekoriert. Die Haustüre geht nicht gut zu, die Dusch-Türe klemmt und das Wasser läuft heraus. Zudem hat es während unseres Aufenthalts whs. von Vormietern sehr sehr stark nach Curry gerochen, wobei Lüften nicht geholfen hat.

Reviewed Oct 12, 2025We booked last moment since our first place got canceled. But this place was quite nice. Nice view too if we can stay and enjoy. Quite spacious, clean and got everything you need including a washing machine and drier. We got very good instructions how to find the place where to put the garbage. Best place we stayed from the whole trip.

Reviewed Oct 11, 2025Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich, aber dennoch sehr modern (geschmackvoll) ausgestattet. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für ein paar Tage Auszeit braucht. Besonders hat uns die atemberaubende Aussicht vom Balkon und die Möglichkeit des Grillens gefallen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen, mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad ist man aber nur wenige Minuten im Ortskern und von den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastfreundschaft, sprich die Kommunikation durch den Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend, immer freundlich und herzlich willkommen heißend (auch Familien mit Hunden gegenüber). Wir können das Apartment nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen sehr gern wieder! :) Vielen Dank dafür!!

When somebody lives upstairs, you can hear every footstep, but you cannot hear their voices (only their movement). The big street next to the apartment was not an issue when the windows were closed, however, sitting outside can be noisy.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2025This is a two bedroom second floor apartment in a house with another apartment at the ground level. The bedrooms are small but sufficient. One contains a double bed and the other a bunk bed. There is a small kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, and oven. They have most utensils and appliances you need. We just missed a blender. The living/dining room contains a comfortable sofa and a table for 4. Heating works very well. There are plenty of power outlets and even USB power strips and adapters, which was very nice. There is a balcony facing the mountains and the valley below. The apartment is quiet even though it is located by the main road. There were plenty of towels and pillows. We wanted to stay close to our family lodged at the hotel nearby and the location was very convenient to us. The property is also close to the bus stop. We could easily bus to Flums for shopping and to the ski points and be independent from riding with the rest of the family. All instructions were e-mailed at the appropriate time and were very clear. Property manager replies were prompt and clear. There were no surprises and we had a joyful stay.
Two minor suggestions that may be helpful, but in no way are dislikes. I suggest replacing the label at the lock box which says "3 bedroom apartment". That was confusing to me. It is a 3 room apartment, with 2 bedrooms. So, "2 bedroom apartment" would be a better description. Besides, the existing label has faded. No big deal, but it helps going for the correct lock box immediately. Granted, the manager sent us a picture of the correct box in an e-mail, but I completely forgot about it when I got there. Moreover, a blender would be nice, as we planned to bake a cake but could not make it without one. Again, no big deal. I understand that this is a vacation property that may not contain all the kitchen appliances one is used to. We should have inquired about it beforehand.

Reviewed Dec 15, 2024Fantastic location with great access to the hiking and skiing. Easy to get to by car or with public transport from Zurich. Really cosey little set up. Had everything we needed for a few days enjoying the mountains. Netflix, prime and Disney+ also great for chilling in the evening.

When you are looking at booking it looks like one property and you think you have it all. It is not like that. I don’t know why? There are two properties. One up stairs, one down… we were down. When you are down and someone is upstairs you are not gonna sleep for sure. Every step is so loud. Kitchen is nice but small impossible to do anything. Bed is not for 2 people, it’s really small. The humidity is around 80%! So everything is damp and wet.

Reviewed Feb 18, 2024Great location with mountain views and parking possibility. Located mountain-side right above the main road to Tannenheim / Tannenboden. Nicely appointed apartment and once we figured out the oven instructions, it was nice and warm, too. The apartment is located on the top floor of a two level free-standing chalet marked "Bambi". Coffeemaker and Nespresso capsules were kindly provided. Good communication with our host Gabriel though booking.com.
Check-out at 10.00h seems early considering Check-In is officially at 17.00h, but it didn't bother us due to our schedule. The double bed in the main bedroom has a mattress that is not very comfortable anymore. The bunk beds are probably more suitable for children than for adults, but it all worked out fine for us.

Reviewed Nov 26, 2023Convenient, recently refurbished lower floor apartment with heated bathroom floor. It was great to have parking right in front of the chalet and the apartment featured all the essentials. Our dog was welcomed and had plenty of room in the studio. The staff were very responsive and allowed us to keep our car in front of the apartment after checkout while we went hiking.
The bathroom toilet had not been flushed after its last use when we arrived.

Property is not as advertised. It is not suitable for 5 adults. Very very small. One Kids bunk bed for two adults. Very uncomfortable. Expensive for such tiny shack
