J'avais réservé le dar lillia dans la médina et l on m a imposé sans prévenir un autre logement avec un chambre sans climatisation à partager avec des inconnus ... en bord d'une plage sale ...vraiment déçue 😞

Très joli et typique dans les petites rues de la médina Amel est très gentille et de bon conseil

We selected this place in a rush after we didn't like the hotel we had for the weekend. It was well located and clean. They were also super nice and help us set up transportation for the airport at 4 am. We are really grateful for the attention we received.

Les libertés dans la description de l'annonce intitulée. "Suite Familiale avec balcon" sans balcon, le descriptif annonce 2 grands lits, 2 lits simples, dans la réalité il n'y a qu'un de chaque. La chambre est plus vaste que la taille annoncée... la réalité est pas mal déformée. L'aménagement de la chambre est sans charme et assez basique⁷

Pas de fenêtre dans la chambre, donc aucun air frais. · Très mauvaise réception et accueil désagréable. · La propriétaire insiste pour être payée immédiatement, sans même me laisser le temps de décider si je reste ou si je quitte les lieux. · Elle a fermé une chambre qui contenait une salle de bain, ce qui a rendu l'accès difficile. · Odeurs désagréables dans la chambre et les parties communes. · Douche en mauvais état, peu fonctionnelle. Je déconseille fortement cet établissement.

The booking was spontaneous and Amel was very helpful, allowing for a quick check in. We were able to leave our big baggage in the accomodation after checkout, which was really helpful!

Bonjour pour moi j ai tout aprecie de ce lieu c etaid très agréable.

Me gusta mucho la Dar Lilia Monastir porque está ubicada dentro de la medina original de Monastir. Además la casa está muy bien y los apartamentos son grandes. Y la dueña es muy amable y atenta, la verdad.

En la ducha es agua no sale con mucha presión y hay veces que sale muy muy fría y otras muy muy caliente pero el resto del apartamento está genial.

Ce serait sympa de laisser 2 ou 3 sachets de thé ou de quoi faire une tisane , un peu de sucre, de l'eau, pour quand on arrive tard le soir!!.

Ottima posizione e stanza da letto dotata di stufina. Accoglienza terribile: per messaggio la proprietaria chiede una commissione per il pagamento in dinar (poi risolto dopo un lungo battibecco) e la persona incaricata ad accoglierci l'ha fatto di corsa come se stesse per perdere il treno.

En fijn appartement gelegen in de medina. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Vriendelijke gast vrouw die ook klaarstaat om al je vragen te beantwoorden.

C’est ma deuxième fois ici au Dar lilia et toujours aussi agréable dit séjourner... En plein cœur de la médina ou tout se fait a pied... Je recommande cette établissement Merci Mme Amel pour votre gentillesse...

Bien placé. Logement bien mais pour la 2eme chambre il faut passer par la 1ere chambre pour accéder au séjour cuisine.

Une machine expresso serait le bienvenu.

Alloggio situato all'ingresso della medina di Monastir, in un bel palazzo tunisino. Parcheggio nelle vicinanze.

La stanza non é ben isolata ne dal suono ne dalla luce, l'acqua calda funzionava a tratti e la luce di emergenza che si attiva senza apparente motivo di notte può essere fastidiosa.

Everything was perfect! Mr. Kader welcomed me warmly, showed me all the features of the apartment. He gave me information about the city and kindly offered to accompany me at the louage station on the day of my departure. Thanks. The apartment is equipped with everything, sheets, towels, kitchen utensils, refrigerator, stove, air conditioning. There is the possibility of using the washing machine. The bathroom is small but very nice. The terrace is at your disposal there is a table with chairs and a part with sofas where you can relax in the evening. The road to Dar Lilia is easy to find, very close to the louage station, there are some food shops very close by. A 7-minute walk away is the Bourghiba mausoleum, a 10-minute walk away is the sea with various restaurants.

It is a very charming room in a top roof terrace in the Medina. It has coocking facilities. Very comfortable and near the comercial area of the medina, the wanderful Ribat of Monastir and the great Central Market (a great market indeed). The terrace in front of the room is a great place for early mornings and evenings. Easy to reach following the link in google maps. Parking is nearby and free. The person who takes care of you at your arrival is a great character, helfull an friendly (his contact is sent to you as soon as you book). I highly recomend this place as an immersive experience to life in the Medina.

Great apartment. Very handy having a washing machine. The host was super friendly and walked us to the ATM as we didn't have enough cash. He pointed things out along the way with very good English. A nice easy walk to the nearby shops and restaurants and the fort and beach.

Nice place in medina. Everything ok but not exceptional. It should be 9 points. But.. it is disgusting and arrogant asking people to put 10 points... because they want to get better score in booking.com. They wrote to me this kind of message after my stay.

Nice apartment with 2 rooms. Very clean. Lovely hot shower. It had cooking facilities but we did not use it. Situated in the heart of the Medina. Well recommended.

Amel is a great host. She takes care as if you are her own guest. The apartment is clean and big enough. It fits for long stays. Monastir is a beautiful city.

If you want to be in the old medina this place is perfect. It is also safe, I wandered around day & night by myself down these little alleys and never felt threatened - you will just meet families and people going about their lives who often say hello with a smile. The owner is super helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I return to monastir. If you want busyness and things to entertain you in your accommodation this isn’t but if you appreciate peace and having space to yourself it’s perfect.

The only thing I didn’t like was leaving, wished I could have stayed longer!

even though I booking was settled and confirmed by the property, I was contacted on WhatsApp two hours before check in so that my appartment was not available anymore and I had to pay more for an other.

I booked a family suite for my stay. Before I arrived, the owner called me and asked how many kids I have. When I arrived, they put me in a studio instead of a family suite. I refused to take less than what I paid for. Through phone calls I had to struggle with her for about an hour to get what I paid for. It looks that she decided I don’t deserve a family suit all for myself, regardless of what I paid for. After a huge argument she moved me to the family suite, but still decided to prevent me from accessing the whole suite. The bedroom that was provided has no air condition and it appeared to me that still they are not providing me with what I had paid for. After another round of back and forth she allowed her employee to open the other room which has an air condition. What was really disturbing is her employee telling her “I have been patient with her,” or telling her to be patient with me, as if I was begging and have no right to ask for what I paid for. No one should go through that. You travel to relax and enjoy a time away from work and daily demands of a regular life. This is as if you bought a large house, but the seller decided to give you smaller house or part of the house (since you have no family) and pocket your payment or maybe rent out a section of the house you paid full price for it. In addition to that, the description of the place does not fit the reality as there is no inner courtyard nor a terrace in this suite. The owner claimed that booking.com is to blame for the wrong description as she did not provide such description. Anyway, after this issue was resolved I enjoyed the suite and the city. Just be aware that the water may shut down while you are taking a shower, but they resolve this issue quickly. The place is beautiful and with little repair it can be a great find, especially if they fix the gargling water pipes and the leaking faucets. Make sure you know what you paid for and stand firm to get what you deserve.

I liked mostly the neighbourhood the place is near the medina and all the needed amenities

For my family we were obliged to take two separate rooms at a last moment the same day we were arriving, called by the owner so we are planning to leave we accepted it but it was not that convenient, anyway Mr Faicel the guy who waited or us was pretty good and helpful , however the room was not very clean, dust especially and no liquid soap , not enough kitchen utensils if you want to cook , the coffee machine I guarantee it is clean , the neighbourhood is safe , near the old town and downtown, sea is 10 to 15 min walk , I enjoyed my stay with my family that is the most important.

We stayed in the top apartment , 1 room with 1double and 1 single, kitchen area , bathroom.All we needed and a great roof terrace to sit and relax on.Amel , the owner moved us downstairs which had an extra bedroom and extra bathroom as we had our 30 year old daughter with us. She kept in touch over the phone to make sure all was well.

Owner was very welcoming and speaks 3 languages. Even though the location is in central Location, yet the neighbourhood doesn’t feel safe to stay in, you feel like all eyes on you.

The owner cheated about the exchange rate and overcharged us. I am local, yet the neighbour doesn’t feel safe. If you are used to european standard apartments, you may be bit disappointed with the furniture. Towels had stains and there was a non clean dishes in the drawer. There is no parking in the premises, you have to park on the road side and risk to get your car hit by other cars or walkers, I wouldn’t advise if you have a large car.
