Euler, Alexandra et leur fils Tòmas sont des hôtes adorables et très attentionnés. Nous avons adoré le jardin avec une vue magnifique sur Jardin, les lapins, le chien, et tous les oiseaux. Nous avons pu profiter des petits déjeuners préparés par Alexandra, avec du bon café de l'exploitation et de bonnes confitures maison. Comme nous avions la chambre familiale avec cuisine, nous avons pu utiliser le barbecue et dîner tranquillement dans le jardin. Euler et Tòmas nous ont fait visiter l'exploitation en nous donnant plein de détails et en nous faisant goûter chaque fruit, on a adoré.

La côte pour y arriver est un peu raide et très caillouteuse, pas très intéressante à faire à pieds (40mn en descente). Mais Alexandra et Euler contactent des tuk tuks sur demande et on en trouve facilement en ville pour le retour (entre 18k et 20k COP).

Tiene muy buena vista, el desayuno es adicional pero es excelente, puedes contratar transporte para que te lleven donde quieras, así disfrutas más de todo sin mover tu carro.

Hébergement très mignon, en pleine nature, au calme et entouré d'oiseaux (il vous faudra marcher 30 minutes ou prendre un tuktuk pour aller manger ou acheter quelque chose). Les propriétaires sont adorables

Absolutely beautiful place with stunning views. Clean room, great breakfast and tranquility. I especially enjoyed the bird viewing on the property. Owners are very helpful in arrange everything from sight seeing to transportation. Can highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

The place is beautiful and the views of the mountains were amazing! We enjoyed the breakfast and also the animals at Casa Viva. The staff are so helpful and helped us organise a tour of Cueva del Esplendor and tuktuks to the centre of Jardín! Such a lovely place to relax and unwind!

It’s about a 40 minute to the centre but you can get tuktuks there and they weren’t that expensive

Amazing place and great hosts. First the place itself - it’s situated above Jardin with the most stunning views of the town below and the mountains in the background. It was such a pleasure to enjoy a yummy breakfast, sat outside, listening to the birds, and enjoying the amazing view. And then our hosts Alexandra and her husband were great also. They were very friendly and even helped us work out how to continue our travel afterwards. Don’t let the distance to town put you off. If you don’t fancy the lovely 40min walk in, then the hosts are happy to drive you in for a very reasonable 17,000 pesos - which is the same as the cost of a tuktuk back.

Un séjour exceptionnel ! L’emplacement est unique, en plein cœur des plantations de café et de bananes, avec des paysages magnifiques à perte de vue. La chambre était très propre, confortable et parfaitement équipée. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et préparé avec soin. Les hôtes, d’une grande gentillesse, sont professionnels, à l’écoute et toujours prêts à aider — certains hôtels pourraient vraiment en prendre de la graine. Nous avons également reçu une liste très utile de lieux à visiter, d’activités et de restaurants, ce qui a beaucoup facilité notre séjour. Une adresse à recommander sans hésiter !

Everything! Thank you Alexandra and Euler for having us. It was nice having breakfast there because it’s a little out of the way, but that’s what we wanted. We walked into town everyday, but you can take a tuktuk for a small amount (<15000 pesos) if you aren’t interested in walking it. Alexandra helped us to call a driver we used the rest of the time for rides so we could get there after a long bus ride easily with our bags. And there are cute pets on the property! Very relaxed and a pretty view of Jardin from the hill. We enjoyed having the small kitchen space to make food at home as well. Alexandra recommended places in town to eat, we tried the Sicily pizza place and it was really good.

Alexandra et Euler ont été des hôtes charmants, très réactifs et disponibles tout au longue du séjour. Le logement est propre et bénéficie d’une vue incroyable sur Jardin!

Het was een heerlijk verblijf. We verbleven met onze twee kleine kinderen, de studio was groot genoeg. Eén avond hebben we simpele pasta gemaakt in de keuken, de host waren zo aardig wat extra keukengerei te geven. Het uitzicht op jardin is prachtig. Wij hadden een auto en dan ben je zo in Jardin. De eigenaren zijn super aardig en maakten elke ochtend een prima ontbijtje. Ze geven een hoop tips voor de omgeving, heel fijn want er is zoveel leuks te doen!

Super accueil dans la casa viva, le cadre est génial en hauteur de Jardín. On a eu la chance de voir beaucoup d oiseaux. Les propriétaires nous on donné pleins d infos sur les environs, les resto,etc... bref ils sont top. Nous recommandons la casa viva

Very beautiful view! You will be on a mountain surrounded by nature and birds. Very very peaceful. The service was excellent! We will be back for sure!

The location is really nice, just outside of Jardin. It's quiet and you see so many beautiful birds. We could ride to town a few times with the owners, who were the kindest people we met in Colombia. The room was good (hot shower). Breakfast in the morning with fresh fruits and plenty of food. We stayed longer :)

The place is just like in the pictures - idyllic, peaceful, with a wonderful view of the Jardin and a huge number of birds flying around. The owners are very kind and helpful, we felt very taken care of. Delicious breakfasts and coffee. We highly recommend!

Place is quiet with a beautiful view of the pueblo. Hosts were very welcoming and attentive. They go beyond 100% to make your stay memorable. Definitely recommended.

The finca is very beautiful and has probable one of the best view of Jardín one can get and good chances to see lots of birds, which we loved. When you sit at the fireplace at night with the view, it can’t get better. But the owners of the hotel are surely the best part. You can feel the love for what they do and you can be sure they will help you with everything one needs. I hope to come back and stay longer!

This could not have been more wonderful! The hosts are so warm and kind. The setting is breathtaking. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is perfect. The evening we got there, Alexandra helped us book a day trip for the next day, which was incredibly helpful. For us, this was the perfect location – outside of town enough to feel like a farm stay, but not so far that it was difficult or expensive to get to from town. I would recommend anyone to stay here, and I sincerely hope to return one day. One of the highlights of our trip. Also, I bought a bag of their home-grown coffee to take home, and it's some of the best coffee I've *ever* had.

We loved our stay at Casa Viva Alojamiento! It is perfectly located about 1.5 miles from Jardin, offering spectacular views of the town and surrounding mountains. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive, picking us up from the bus center for a reasonable fee, which made it much easier for us since we had luggage, and providing answers to our questions throughout our stay. For those that enjoy nature and the outdoors, this is a perfect location where you can hike to town and surrounding trails. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was also delicious. We were incredibly happy with this rural, truly Colombian experience, at a VERY resonable price.

Nestled amongst the coffee plants, citrus trees, singing birds, and banana plants sits Casa Viva— a little slice of heaven with a family of angels whose life is more poetic than the setting sun and the sweet smell of their biodiverse colonial city, which sits directly across from their property up on the hill. Euler, Alexa, and their dear son Tomás are the most authentic and loving family that live a life of pure beauty. Their love and willingness to share their heavenly home is apparent from the moment you arrive. We enjoyed breathtaking views of lush green mountains and the quaint town of Jardín below. Their garden is beautifully designed with flowers, medicinal plants and fruit trees— we loved watching the different species of birds visit us! While the property is outside of town, we felt it was the best way to experience the spirit, tradition and unique natural beauty of Antioquia. Plus the town is a nice hike or a quick motoratón ride away. Alexandra and Euler provided us with a trusted motoratón driver and were so helpful with tours and transportation. Our breakfasts were delicious and hearty, and our room was cozy with a comfortable bed and pillows, but we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the scenery and their sweet animals. Our favorite part was the warmth and kindness of Alexandra and Euler. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, helped us to explore the Jardín area and even gave us a taste of Colombian culture with a sancocho cooking lesson. A truly compassionate, generous and beautiful family! We’ve stayed all over the world and Casa Viva is one of our favorite places by far!!
