Jennifer's Cottage

On our first day, the host welcomed us warmly and gave us a kind tour of the house. The room was spacious, cozy, and very well-maintained. We loved falling asleep while watching the stars through the window. Thank you for showing our 8-year-old son the various animals. He had such a wonderful time in the countryside and misses it already. The host was also very helpful whenever we needed anything. We are especially grateful for your understanding regarding the small accident our son caused indoors. Everything was perfect for our two days in Oamaru.

What a perfect spot so peaceful. A great place to relax it had everything you could possibly need and then some.

Had everything and so quiet

Firstly the host Rosie was exceptional. One of us left a book behind and the next day, with no fuss made, she posted it home. The cottage was absolutely spotless and the facilities just great. Beautiful cotton sheets etc. A new gas bottle was installed if we wanted to bbq. We were given fresh farm eggs and we were given extras and THE best toilet paper in the toilet!! Extra toiletries in the bathroom if they were needed. I left my toothbrush at home and found a new one in the “extras” drawer. The setting was idyllic if you wanted the quiet of the country and it was just a short drive to Oamaru. Thank you Rosie and Kerry.

There was absolutely nothing to criticise.

Cozy and peaceful, very comfortable house on a farm. We enjoyed using a fireplace which was all set for us to use. Approximately 20 minutes drive from Oamaru.

Really great place, well equipped. Even has a BBQ !!

Nice quiet peaceful location, immaculately presented cottage, exceptional hospitality from hosts. Really enjoyed staying here.

Absolutely quiet with a lovely view. House was so comfortable to stay in wish we could have stayed more than two nights. Is close to Oamaru.
