Lobster Bay Lombok

Très très satisfait du staff, très souriant , serviable, ce sont des gens qui bossent avec le cœur! La vue était magnifique, le petit déjeuner était correcte. Le domaine magnifique. Un plus pour le fait que plusieurs jeux était disponibles (billard, ping pong...) Ils ont un bon système de communication via whatsapp Lit et oreillers très confortable. Piscine propre et entretenue.

La première remarque est le manque de considérations du patron envers ses employés. Il les appels avec des claquements de doigts, "garcon" ou encore en criant "staff" à travers le restaurant, c'est un manque de respect et de classe. La villa était super à première vue mais une fois installé, on s'est rendu compte qu'il n'y avait pas de rideau dans la salle de bains, on ne s'est pas senti en sécurité par rapport à ça. Il y a des ouvertures un peu partout ce qui fait qu'on avait droit à pas mal de gecko et d'insectes dans la villa. Nous n'avions pas utiliser d'insecticide avant de dormir ce qui a fait qu'on était fortement dérangé par les moustiques cette nuit-la. Le wifi n'était pas très performant dans la chambre.

Le cadre est magnifique, chaque villa dispose d'une piscine privée avec vue sur la mer, c'est vraiment appréciable. Le restaurant propose de servir les plats directement dans la villa pour pouvoir profiter des couchers de soleil en intimité sur la terrasse. Les plats proposés sont variés et tous très bons (à la fois les spécificités locales et les plats internationaux). Le personnel se montre disponible pour répondre a nos demandes. Une attention particulière particulière portée a l'expérience client, divers jeux de sociétés et équipements (table de billard) sont proposé dans le hall principal a côté du restaurant.

Certains équipements sont dégradés (dalles autour de la piscine, salle de bain, toilettes instables), une petite rénovation pourrait améliorer l'expérience client. L'hôtel est assez excentré et aucune application (grab / gojek) ne dessert efficacement la zone, prévoir un budget taxi pour pouvoir profiter des environs. De manière générale, les prix proposés par l'hôtel sont assez élevés.

What an amazing place! The views are stunning. Our villa was huge and beautifully presented, even better than the photos! It felt really luxurious and private. Staff were were friendly, helpful and really attentive. We were so well looked after. We were sorry to leave.

The rooms and private pools are wonderful, modern and stylish. There are only a small number of rooms, so there is minimal noise and uninterrupted seclusion. It really is blissful and sunset is beautiful. It is easy to hire a moped from the property and explore the many beautiful beaches in the area.

One thing to note is that grab and other taxi apps do not work in this area. This is more related to whole south including central Kuta, so not specific to the hotel. You can travel from the port/airport here, but cannot return. The hotel can arrange transport but at double the cost.

The location is beautiful! It is very peaceful and serene. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. I like that they provided a big bottle of drinking water in the room.

As other reviews have stated, the resort is in a remote location. For me, this was part of its appeal. It was peaceful and quiet. This didn't detract from my stay at all, but it is worth noting. If you don't want to hire a scooter, you will rely on the resort to organise cars/drivers for you, as Grab doesn't operate in this part of Lombok. The drivers I had were excellent, but it was more expensive than hiring a scooter. Personally, I hate driving, so I was happy to absorb this expense. The restaurant was OK. Breakfast was pretty basic. For example, on my first morning, I had an omelette, but I had to pay extra for a grilled tomato. Filtered coffee is included with breakfast, but if you want anything else, like a latte or cappuccino, you need to pay extra. I found this a little odd, as everywhere else I stayed in Indonesia provided very hearty breakfasts to the point where I didn't need lunch. Whereas I didn't find breakfast nearly as filling here. The rooms only had sachets of ground Nescafé coffee and some non-descript Jasmine tea. Everywhere else I stayed had great tea and coffee selections. The in-room amenities were also pretty basic. Lobster Bay was slightly more expensive than other places I stayed during my time in Indonesia. Most of my accommodation was of a similar standard, i.e. 4 stars, private villa with a pool or bath. While it was a beautiful location, I am not sure that it offered value for money.

Tout est parfait ! L’accueil, le restaurant, la vue incroyable, les villas qui sont magnifiques et très bien équipées avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer. Un endroit paisible une vraie expérience avec un personnel parfait du début jusqu’à la fin. Un endroit au calme et très bien entretenu. La salle de bain en plein air et la piscine privée magnifique. Un moment magique hors du temps pour déconnecter et un propriétaire des lieux exceptionnel, très intéressant et très accueillant. Cet endroit ne vous laissera pas indifférent… la literie le calme et les prestations, vous ne trouverez pas mieux ! Jusqu’au parfums des shampoings et gel douche. Tout est parfait !

I had the best time at lobster bay, it was highly relaxing with the best view you could possibly imagine. The staff was phenomenal, Joe, arif, everyone else who’s name I don’t remember off the top of my head, some of the best staff you could possibly find. The food was great! I really enjoyed all of my meals, recommend the rendang, the veggies and anything off the grill. Those sunsets were incredible and so was the villa. Thank you for having me.

For years, my wife, my daughter and I have been travelling around Southeast Asia, always looking for that elusive sweet spot: pristine landscapes, a great climate, unspoiled nature, and just enough tourism to make things comfortable without the place having already been conquered by spiritually enlightened Instagram kings and queens. The south of Lombok — and Lobster Bay and its surroundings in particular — absolutely hits the nail on the head. Our host, Andrew, was quite simply one of the most generous and welcoming hosts you could wish for. He has created something truly magical here. The moment you arrive, the view is beyond stunning. It is the kind of scenery people travel halfway around the world — often to vastly overrated places — hoping to find, only to end up disappointed. Here, you simply stand there and see this magnificent landscape in its full glory. This is the “money shot”. In Europe, views and locations like this are usually inaccessible to normies. They are hidden behind private gates and reserved for the ultra-rich, celebrities and ridiculously exclusive hotels. Here, you get to experience exactly that without any of the pretentiousness that normally comes with it. We stayed in one of the pool villas, and the accommodation absolutely lives up to the setting. The villa enjoys the same spectacular panoramic views as the restaurant and main areas of the resort. Conceptually, it is beautifully done: lots of wood, stylish and understated decoration, a fantastic private pool and a wonderful sense of privacy. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, very well equipped and genuinely luxurious without being flashy or overdone. Sitting at your own pool looking out across that landscape is something very difficult to beat. What makes the place particularly special, however, is the people.

Beautiful views, kind and welcoming staff, good food and comfortable / luxurious accommodation. A great place to stay if you are looking to treat yourself. The staff were also helpful with helping us with laundry service and bringing food to our villa.

The resort is in a remote location so it is necessary to order taxis to get around. Having said this, the drivers were incredibly helpful, talking us on trips and waiting for us to bring us back.

Alles! Die Villa ist unglaublich schön eingerichtet und super sauber. Durch die große Glasfront kann man sogar aus dem Bett in die Bucht blicken. Die Terrasse hat viel Platz und das Sunbed ist sehr gemütlich für zwei Personen. Der Pool ist erfrischend und sauber. Das gesamte Team von Lobster Bay ist so freundlich und zuvorkommend und wir haben jeden Abend im Restaurant gegessen oder den Zimmerservice genossen. Für uns waren es perfekte Tage mit viel Ruhe in einer unglaublichen Unterkunft. Wir können Lobster Bay nur empfehlen!

Beautiful house on top of the hill with a spectacular view. Very friendly people, especially the manager did everything he could to give us the best time. Nice restaurant with some nice vegetarian food. Comfy beds.

It’s quite far from Kuta. A 25 minute drive by motorbike. You definitely need one of those. I found the bathroom very basic for this price range. It felt outdated and not very clean just because of the looks.

Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und die Aussicht einfach wunderschön. Besonders überrascht hat uns das Essen, weil wir ehrlich gesagt nicht mit so einer guten Qualität gerechnet hatten. Es hat uns jeden Tag sehr gut geschmeckt. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Arif und Joe Die beiden haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich angenehmer gemacht, waren immer höflich, respektvoll und haben sich bei jeder Frage oder jedem Wunsch Zeit für uns genommen. Ich hatte während unseres Aufenthalts außerdem den Schlüssel von meinem Motorroller verloren. Obwohl der Schlüssel am Ende zum Glück wiedergefunden wurde, hat das Personal sofort versucht, mir zu helfen und sich wirklich darum gekümmert. Das haben wir sehr geschätzt. Alles in allem hatten wir eine richtig schöne Zeit und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Wer eine Unterkunft mit einer tollen Aussicht, leckerem Essen und einem super freundlichen Team sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

The view and the local staff. NOT the owner

HORROR OWNER. Do not book this hotel! Please take the time to read my review carefully. My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment I arrived, there was an uncomfortable atmosphere where employees appeared fearful and nervous around the (British) owner. The way the owner treated his staff came across as disrespectful and degrading, and it seemed as though he exploited them. As a guest, this did not make me feel comfortable or safe. What bothered me most was the way the staff were treated. The owner also appeared to monitor both employees and guests by installing cameras in places where they seemed unnecessary. The owner snapped his fingers and demanded, in a very forceful and disrespectful manner, that a staff member come to our table and take care of everything for us. We had not asked for this, and it made us feel uncomfortable because it happened right in front of us. The staff member appeared visibly tense despite doing their best to assist guests. There was a clear atmosphere of tension and fear among the employees. A bizarre incident occurred when the owner, during an angry outburst, threw a television through the restaurant while guests were eating. He then blamed his staff for the broken TV, even though that was not the case. The mood in the restaurant immediately changed, and the tension was palpable. His employees ended up apologizing for the situation even though it was clearly not their fault. One particularly uncomfortable moment occurred when the owner, who appeared intoxicated, stood at our table and repeatedly apologized on behalf of his staff. He kept talking and seemed unable to recognize that his presence had become unwelcome. In my opinion, there was no reason for him to apologize for his employees. On the contrary, the behavior that disturbed me most was his own. Rather than apologizing for his staff, I would have preferred to see him take responsibility for his own actions.

One of the most peaceful place on earth, I’ve stayed at. Calming vibes, great view, quiet with vibrant colors!

There are tons of wildlife - not the dangerous kind but the annoying kind. There are geckos which poops on everything and I wish the housekeeping team would just make it a standard practice to clean the villa everyday! They also said they would come clean but then did not and when we returned late at night the villa was filled with gecko poop and no fresh towels and there’s poop on our towels, bedding and floors - it was very annoying

Amazing Villas in a very quiet area with private pool, fantastic view and exceptionally relaxed vibes. You can spend the whole day there and have a beautiful time. The staff is so nice, always with a smile on their face and fulfilled every wish we.had (room service of breakfast, lunch and dinner). We had to arrive a day later - they let us change the arrival date on the actual day of the arrival, which was very kind of them. Overall the food was very good, the BBQ, the local food and the desserts were very good. The coffee and the breakfast are ok. We felt very much at home and would definitely come back.

The views and the location of the villas are beautiful. The only downside was the closest beach was unfortunately full of trash at the moment of our stay. Note that this is a systemic issue of the island and not the responsibility of the resort.

Wonderful staff and amazing accomodation. Live like a king for the week. Our 2-br villa was massive and the staff numbers matched the guests. We feel very fortunate. Food is great. Can rent a bike. Bumbang is the best part of Lombok.

Our stay at Lobster Bay in Lombok was absolutely unforgettable. It is the perfect place to get away from the crowds, relax, and truly connect with nature. The resort is beautiful and peaceful, with incredible views that make the experience even more special. The people working there are incredibly welcoming, and communication was excellent, with instant responses every time. The food was spectacular, especially the dishes prepared by Chefs Sapari and Anto. My personal favorite was the Beef Rendang with Rice, simply amazing. • The Villa & View: Absolutely breathtaking; a true dream. • The Staff: Extremely helpful and attentive. They consistently checked in to ensure we were enjoying our stay. • Location: The resort is quite secluded. If you are staying for an extended period, renting a scooter or budgeting for a private driver is essential.

• Theft Incident: Unfortunately, we were robbed in our hotel room on our final night. • Loss: A total of €300 (approx. 6,000,000 IDR) was taken from our room and wallets. We had withdrawn the cash that very day. The wallets were left in the room while we went to dinner—which we actually had at the resort's restaurant at the staff's suggestion. • Discovery: We only realized the money was missing the following day when it came time to pay. • Resolution Process: The resort is currently making an effort to resolve the matter, and CCTV footage is being reviewed. • Safe Issue: We were unable to use the room safe because it was locked/out of order from the start. This was a hard lesson learned: from now on, we will insist on having the safe fixed immediately upon arrival.

• The view is absolutely unmatched. Five star and watched for hours. • The bed was excellent and very comfortable. We slept well. • Staff were consistently warm, friendly and welcoming. • The design of the bungalows is beautiful, and we loved the artwork. You can really feel the children’s laughter and energy in the pictures. • WiFi was strong and easy to access. • Renting a scooter was very easy, and we were pleasantly surprised by how smooth and well-paved the roads are in Lombok. We felt very safe riding with minimal traffic. • The double sink and interior layout was well thought out • The resident cat completely won us over despite us not being cat people. • The pool area is well thought out with beanbags, a lounge chair and a table and chairs. We loved having different ways to enjoy the view.

• It would help to let guests know that room service needs to be requested via WhatsApp before leaving for the day. With bugs around, the room can get dusty quickly. Once we knew to request ahead, the cleaning was excellent. • The toilet seat had a lingering smell and was the only part of the room that felt below the otherwise high standard. - We are big foodies living in Singapore & will often go after local food. The local dishes on the menu were higher priced than we usually expect in Indo & the portion size was a little small for the higher price. Because of this, we ate out more than planned in Kuta and neighbouring hotels. In the end, upsizing the portions helped and the food was tasty nonetheless. Overall, we loved many aspects of our stay at Lobsterbay and would recommend it.

The view was incredible. The staff was beyond friendly! Everything was easy - from organizing a driver to pick us up from the harbor to getting a scooter to drive around South Lombok.

Das Englisch der Mitarbeitenden im Restaurant ist teilweise nicht sehr gut, was manchmal zu Missverständnissen geführt hat. Die Unterkünfte bestehen aus schönen, aber einfachen Holzhäusern, in welche leicht Insekten gelangen. Insektenschutzgitter im Badezimmer wären hilfreich. In einem Zimmer gab es akuten Termitenbefall, welcher aber nach unserem Hinweis direkt beseitigt wurde. Bei dem relativ hohen Zimmerpreis halten wir das für erwähnenswert.

Espectacular estancia en un lugar idílico . Pero sobre todo he de destacar el personal. Concretamente Jo e Ismah nos han atendido de una manera espectacular, muy cercana y nos hemos sentido como en casa. Le doy un 10 . Si estás buscando tranquilidad, playas cercanas inexploradas y disfrutar del auténtico Lombok lejos del bullicio , pero bien comunicado, este es tu sitio!

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Lobster Bay Resort! The entire Lobster Bay team was incredible — so warm, kind, and genuinely caring. Special thanks and a big shoutout to Rozi, Bolot, Dika, and Amelia, who made our stay truly unforgettable. Everything was well organized — from renting scooters to arranging pick-ups, everything ran smoothly and effortlessly. The food was delicious, the room beautifully designed and extremely comfortable, and the room service outstanding. Every detail was handled with so much care and heart. My personal highlight was the amazing breakfast with the stunning ocean view — the perfect start to every day! Even though it’s about a 25-minute scooter ride to Gerupuk (if you want to surf there) as well as tu Kuta, it’s absolutely worth it. The peaceful atmosphere, breathtaking views, and overall vibe of the resort make it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories. L'etablissemet est un complexe de plusieurs villa tres jolies distantes des unes avec une magnifique vue sur la mer au calme et tres reposant. Un Havre de paix Parfait pour un repos ressourcant. Un personnel tres serviable, toujours disponible a vos demandes et votre ecoute., ainsi que la Direction. Un ++++ la literie excellente. Assez rare en Indonesia. Possibilite de faire des TOURS via l hotel , pour Decouvrir lombok, tres bien, avec chauffeur tres serviable et mets tout en oeuvre pour bien expliquer. Le service restaurant est tres bon. Surement que nous reviendrons. Je recommended a 100%.

Der Ausblick ist grandios. Wer es abgeschieden mag ist da richtig. Das Personal versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen.

Negativ empfanden wir, dass der Pool über chlort war und es keine Dusche am Pool gab. Zudem ist kein Kleiderschrank im Zimmer vorhanden. Stattdessen steht ein offener im offenen Bad. Durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit würden dort aber die Sachen klamm werden, somit mussten wir alles im Zimmer irgendwie verteilen. Da es so abgeschieden ist, sind die Taxipreise sehr hoch. Die Frühstücks Auswahl sollte auch vorhanden sein.

Our family had 5 lovely days at Lobster Bay in August. We were blown away by the magnificent views, the friendliness of the staff, and their generous help whenever we needed it. Our day trips out to Pink Beach, Mawun Beach, and Selong Belanak were big highlights, and swims in our pool and massages at Lobster Bay helped to ease us into a wonderful sense of relaxation.

Unfortunately we found Andrew, the owner, to be rude, arrogant and intrusive, and we had to navigate several uncomfortable and inappropriate situations with him. This was a surprise as we had anticipated a very different experience based upon online reviews. Lobster Bay is a wonderful retreat, and while our overall experience was highly welcoming and memorable experience, it was unfortunate that this behaviour distracted from that.

De plek is prachtig. De villa is heel ruim, comfortabel en schoon. Dit is echt een toplocatie met een fantastisch uitzicht. De service van het zeer vriendelijke personeel is uitstekend. Grote dank aan de geweldige gastheer Dajek die ons tot laat in de nacht opwachtte en de chauffeur Lalus die ons haalde en bracht en een heerlijke snorkeltour verzorgde.

Niks, dit is echt een heerlijke plek!

We spent 15 nights at the resort in a two-bedroom villa with a private pool. The views are spectacular, and the peace and quiet of the place are definitely among its best features. The villa is very comfortable, and the resort offers a good selection of food in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The location is quite remote, which we enjoyed, but you need to be a bit adventurous and independent to make the most of it. We rented a scooter and explored different parts of the island, which gave us the freedom to discover our favorite spots. The drive to Kuta takes about 25 minutes, and it’s great to return afterwards to the tranquility of the resort area, which is far less developed and touristy. The beaches closest to the resort are not the best for swimming. One of the reasons we chose this place was its proximity to Tanjung Aan, but unfortunately, just before our arrival, demolition and construction works had left the beach and its surroundings in poor condition. We ended up going several times to the Pink Beach area instead. It’s a bit more than an hour away by scooter, but the ride itself is part of the experience — passing through villages, seeing the landscapes, and watching locals work the tobacco fields. At Pink Beach, you’ll find plenty of tranquility and can snorkel straight from the shore (the corals aren’t world-class, but they’re decent). During our stay, we experienced a few minor issues (such as drinking water and communication, since the staff speak limited English), but the team was always very attentive and quick to resolve things. In the end, these small incidents became part of the experience. Overall, we felt completely at home at the resort. We connected not only with the staff but also with the owner, Andrew, who gave us excellent recommendations. We left with real sadness, wishing we could have stayed longer.

La vue est magnifique, la villa est très grande et le mobilier très joli. Le restaurant offre également une très jolie vue ainsi qu'un grand choix de plats locaux et Internationaux. Le propriétaire nous a accueilli chaleureusement lors de notre diner le premier soir.

Le resort est en développement et ne compte actuellement qu'une dizaine de villas et un restaurant. L'accès à la plage est très difficile à pieds. Nous l'avons fait une seule fois. La ville de Kuta et les autres belles plages sont très éloignées donc il est nécessaire de louer un scooter. Cela prend environ 25 min pour Kuta centre. Autour de l'hôtel, il n'y a rien à faire.... à prendre en compte!

El entorno en el que se encuentran las villas es realmente mágico. Nos encantó la calidad de la villa y la piscina, la perfección de los jardines y vegetación del complejo. Es un entorno en el que consigues desconectar y descansar.

La ubicación. Alquilamos una moto para movernos con libertad por la isla, en Kuta se encuentran concentrados todos los servicios y está a 25 minutos y hacerlo a diario se hacía un poco pesado. Además, para visitar algunas playas el transporte era de una hora. No había restaurantes ni servicios alrededor y en alguna ocasión nos habría gustado poder variar y no cenar en el hotel. No obstante, teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, si tu plan es descontar y descansar lo recomiendo totalmente

Beautiful place, and the sweetest people. I loved that it was quiet and private, and the villa was amazing as was the view. I loved come into the restaurant and being meet by kind people. I especially enjoyed my talks with Tini, Rozi and Andrew the owner.

We had the most wonderful stay at Lobster Bay – truly a place to remember! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning location. Nestled in a breathtaking natural setting, it felt like we had stepped into a little slice of paradise. The villas are beautifully and stylishly decorated, combining comfort with elegance in the most perfect way. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it feel both luxurious and homely at the same time. What really stood out to us was how incredibly family- and child-friendly the entire resort is. Our kids had an unforgettable time with a wide variety of fun activities and the always cheerful staff who happily joined in the fun. And that brings us to our final — but by no means least important — point: the staff. They are absolutely amazing – incredibly kind, warm, and always ready to help with a smile, it made our experience all the more special. If you're looking for a magical escape with heart, style, and soul – this is it!

Lovely staff, great accomodation that offers everything u could possibly need. Its a secluded intimate resort, with great views and privacy. The staff in this resort left us with the best memories from Lombok, we’re grateful to have gained new friends and family. The gekkos and the tropical life is a part of the charm of visiting this beautiful island and resort. The limited breakfast menu is as expected considering it is a small and continuously growing resort, and one can always order outside of the breakfast menu with large pool of options and varieties. The room comes with a bathroom in the outside area, showering under the full moon in the fresh breeze was a new experience. The pool and room was offered to be cleaned and maintained every day. Transport and scooter is offered in ur hand immediately upon request. They are quick to offer everything upon request in the shortest time. They provided us with new towels and offers dry cleaning service. The resort is happy to assist you in planning your day and offer activity packages. The prices are expected to be higher than local prices as it comes with amazing service, and you really dont have to lift a finger. You need to rent a scooter? They will bring the scooter and helmets to you in your hand. Truly a wellness resort. The distance to Kuta is aprox 20min with scooter, and not a problem for us as it gave us a chance to explore local areas. The owner is caring and interactive with the guests. The area has military security, so you are 24/7 safe! We would definitely come back! Thank you 🙏🏼

Villas constructed from good materials. Still good.

It is called “wellness” resort on the sign, but the staff wants to sell alcohol (because of margin), but we do not drink alcohol, and the food for breakfast is only carbohydrates.

The views from restaurant is beautiful , service was slow but not bad. At check-in we asked if we could pay 95% of our bill in cash and the rest the next day after visiting the bank ( they had a card on file after-all) this was refused and we had to pay by card immediately. We received an upgrade to villa with an extra bedroom we didn’t need , suspect it was overbooked. This did place us behind noisy family villas with a view of mostly their roof. The villa is comfortable with beautiful decor and layout , our review would have overlooked all of the above if done at checkout . We were however caught by the ‘video of broken scooter’ sent to their ( recommended) taxi driver once we were far enough away from the hotel not have the time to return . This claimed that we crashed their scooter and they wanted 1mil for repairs. We did NOT crash or fall with the scooter we used to less than 2 hours , we asked to speak to the owner - who we saw and thanked at checkout but was told he is out. Our only option to safely reach the harbor was to pay a discounted rate in cash to the taxi driver. In short , our plans to return with our extended family was abruptly terminated.

The above mentioned situation, which seems like staff underhandedness and incompetence rather than the hotel.

The villa suited us very well, simply beautiful, the view, the pool nothing to say, normally we would have booked the standard one but the owner gave us an upgrade to the larger villa, you don't find such nice nd friendly owner everywhere, just like the staff who work there! Thankyou very much we will come back

Centipedes and other insects. We discovered a scorpion eating a cricket in our bathroom. Every door locks with a key. It's a bit remote, you'll need a ride. Frankly it's overpriced compared to comparable lodging and dining in Lombok, sorry.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Lombok. The villas are spacious and comfortable, and face straight out onto open views across the bay, foregrounded by your own infinity pool. You have total privacy in the most beautifal natural setting, with all sorts of plants, birds and insects around you (this is the tropics) and the sunsets are spectacular. All of the public spaces are well kept and as others have said, the staff are genuine and hard working, and of course some great conversations with the owner Andrew :) And by the way, yes Lobster Bay is 20 minutes from Kuta, but getting to town and back on a scooter is half the fun, you'll ride trough some lovely countryside and villages on very quiet roads.
