Tirta Unda Sidemen

Stayed here 4 nights and loved it! Very comfortable and clean. Loved being on the top floor and felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The people are so kind and hospitable - they greeted me right away and helped with my luggage when I arrived. The restaurant is right next door which is very convenient. I ate dinner there each day, as well as the included breakfast, and the food is delicious. They provide a large bottled water in your room daily. It was easy to walk everywhere that I wanted to go - not much traffic in sidemen compared to Ubud or Uluwatu. The mosquito net around the bed was really nice and made it extra cozy. Also loved the sound of the frogs at night! Like nature’s white noise. :)

La chambre est jolie et très propre. Le personnel est adorable, très à l’écoute et aux petits soins. C’est très agréable d’avoir le restaurant juste à côté. J’y ai mangé 3 fois et c’était toujours délicieux. J’ai passé un super séjour reposant à Tirta Unda.

Le personnes qui nous reçoivent sont très gentille et très agréable. La nourriture de leur restaurant est faite maison,excelllente et peu cher.

I loved the staff and the great food they serve. The breakfast was good and I ate here most of the time. Also the views are very nice of mount batur and the surounding area there are waterfalls nearby like gembleng waterfall. Keep in mind when you’re in the countryside there always will be sounds of animals in the morning or at night.

The bathroom had a smell could be the trap of the drainage not properly installed it didn’t bother me much.

Het mooie uitzicht over de rijst en pepervelden. De rijstvelden en watervallen die zo dichtbij zaten om te bezoeken. Zilver workshops ook on de hoek. Echt op den top.

The location is peaceful and quiet, with a great restaurant right next door. The staff were always friendly, smiling, and available to help throughout the day. They offered to help us find a place to rent a scooter and do our laundry. Our room was cleaned daily, and a delicious breakfast was included in the very reasonable price. The room was spacious and spotless, with hot water in the shower and a smart TV. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic staff that is incredibly friendly and interesting to talk to. Great rooms and good breakfast. And its close to the rice terrace. I liked it so much that I extended my stay twice.

The pictures of the hotel in the middle of the rice fields is not 100% accurate anymore. By now, some houses have been built closeby. So don't expect to be in the middle of only green. But there is still a lot of green around and its beautiful and in the evening the fireflies are blinking on the terrace.

La chambre était propre, le personnel était très sympathique et très aidant. Nous avons eu le petit déjeuner avant l’heure habituel car nous partions tôt le matin.

Supermooie plek, schone kamer en vriendelijke host!! Lekker geslapen in het bed en ook de douche en het bad waren fijn. Heerlijk ontbijt met vers fruit, ei en boterhammen. Ook ‘s avonds echt lekker gegeten bij hun restaurant. Echte aanrader :)

Нам повезло заселиться на второй этаж с прекрасным видом на чудный ландшафт Сидемена по разумной цене. Номер оборудован огромной ванной, очень вкусно покушали в местном ресторане и спали в прохладе без кондиционера. Ни мотоциклы, ни иной шум не беспокоили. Комаров тоже замечено не было. Доброжелательные хозяева. Очень довольны.

Разве что можно сделать отдельный выключатель на вытяжку в ванной комнате, очень шумит

Tour ! Le personnel est adorable, la chambre très propre, spacieuse et confortable. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux et la nourriture du restaurant délicieuse !

Unser Aufenthalt bei Majun und seiner Frau war von Anfang bis Ende einfach perfekt. Das Gästehaus liegt in einem wunderschönen Tal, umgeben von Natur und Reisfeldern – ein Ort, an dem man sofort zur Ruhe kommt. Wir haben es sehr genossen, so viel Raum zum Durchatmen und Entspannen zu haben. Das Zimmer war blitzsauber und wurde täglich liebevoll hergerichtet. Das Bett war sehr groß und unglaublich gemütlich. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom großzügigen Badezimmer mit Badewanne und offener Dusche – inklusive traumhaftem Blick auf die Reisfelder. Majun und seine Familie waren jederzeit unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich interessiert. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt und wir haben uns rundum willkommen gefühlt. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war die süße Hausente Riri 🦆. Auch das kleine hauseigene Restaurant war großartig: Das Essen war simpel, aber sehr frisch und unglaublich lecker.

Loved the location and accommodation. The people really look after you. Hands down the best fresh breakfast I've had whilst touring. Sideman and around is quite beautiful

Everything was absolutely perfect. The room looks exactly like it does in the photos, the place is peaceful, and it really feels like a spot where you can recharge. Putu and the owner are genuinely lovely and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We had an excellent stay and we truly recommend this place !!

The hot water was limited but I am sure that the kind owners Will fix it soon. So check the latest comments because the stay in this place is really very good experience of true Bali.

Die Unterkunft an sich war in allen Belängen super. Die Betten sehr bequem, das Badezimmer sauber, das Essen im eigenen Warung sehr gut. Die Angestellten sehr nett.

Der Besitzer war nett, zumindest auf den ersten Blick. Ein bisschen sketchy wurde es aber: Wir haben den Nachbarsjungen vom Silberschmuck-Herstellen zum Essen eingeladen. Vom Besitzer hat der Junge dann doofe Kommentare auf indonesisch bekommen, als wäre er was besseres. Das war echt nicht nett. Am gleichen Abend wurden wir auch von unserem Tisch verscheucht, weil viele Menschen zum Essen anstanden. Wir waren enttäuscht, weil wir dachten, Hotelgäste hätten da Vorrang. Außerdem wurde uns empfohlen, einen Grab für die Fahrt nach Uluwatu zu buchen. Der Besitzer meinte, das wird „total billig“. Am nächsten Tag stellten wir fest, dass uns kein Grab-Fahrer fahren wird, weil die Preise zu niedrig sind. Plötzlich stand er wieder vor unserer Tür, telefonierte mit verschiedenen Menschen und brachte uns dazu, 850k (!!!) für die Fahrt zu zahlen, sonst wären wir nicht weitergekommen. Uns kam es so vor, als wüsste er einfach gut über unsere Not Bescheid und wollte uns abziehen, da wir keine andere Wahl hatten. War echt ein unnötig am Ende.

Perfect stay! Very friendly people, owner is very nice, his staff is amazing. the warung in front of the rooms is also very good. You get a big free breakfast every day with coffee fruit shakes etc etc. And a free big water bottle in the room, every day! They clean the rooms everyday, fresh towels too. Rooms are brand new, bed is very comfortable, even a bathtub is installed. Mosquito nets are hole free and new too. AC is working and powerful. The rice fields are even prettier then in the Photos. 10/10 would stay again!

Tirta Unda is de perfecte uitvalsbasis om Sidemen en de prachtige omgeving te verkennen. De kamer is erg ruim en voorzien van airconditioning. De badkamer is de mooiste die ik tijdens mijn reis door Indonesië heb gezien, met een bad en heerlijk warme douche! In de bijbehorende warung kun je lekker eten. Ook is het personeel (en hun gans Riri) erg vriendelijk.

Niks! Maar als ik iets moet benoemen: het bed is relatief hard.

Our stay at this guesthouse was nothing short of perfect. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside in every direction. The on-site restaurant served absolutely delicious meals - great taste and incredible value for money. The peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty of the area made it a truly relaxing getaway, and there were plenty of interesting places to explore nearby. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sidemen! Un alojamiento maravilloso, especialmente porque está cerca de todo, integrado en los arrozales y cuenta con un warung de comida exquisita. Además, la familia y equipo son super atentos y hospitalarios. Muy recomendable.

The room at Tirta Unda Sidemen was very nice, and the views from both the room and the balcony were absolutely stunning. The hospitality was warm and much appreciated.

I usually don’t like to leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share our experience so that future guests don’t have the same difficulty we did. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a strong odor that seeped into the bedroom, and I found myself having to hold my breath every time I went in. It made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped. I believe this could be improved by installing a venting fan in the bathroom, since keeping the windows open isn’t practical with so many insects around. I truly hope the owner can address this, because the place itself is beautiful and has great potential.

L’atmosphère, le fait d’être au milieu des rizières, pour une vrai expérience immersive, avec les bruits de la nature partout autour de nous : PARFAIT. Le restaurant de l’hotel était absolument délicieux, je me suis régalé.

Nous avons aimé le lit et les tarifs du restaurant. Le personnel était agréable.

Bien que le fait d’être entouré de rizières et en pleine nature, le logement était éloigné de toute activité. Le déjeuner est complètement à revoir, tant au niveau de la qualité, de la quantité et du délais de service … La chambre est mignonne le lit est confortable mais gros bémol sur la salle de bain, qui en première apparence semble ok à tout les niveaux, sauf qu’il y a très peu d’eau chaude voir pas du tout et que les remontées des canalisations sont infecte (odeur dans tout le logement d’égout). Je déconseille cet établissement.

Wir waren 2 Nächte im Tirta Unda in Sidemen und haben es sehr genossen. Das Zimmer (es gibt nur 2) und das Bad sind ganz neu und wirklich modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Von der Terrasse hat man einen schönen Blick ins Grüne. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und das Personal hat sich um alles gekümmert. Am ersten Abend haben wir im hauseigenen Warung, der nur ein paar Schritte entfernt ist, sehr lecker gegessen. Die Lage ist perfekt, fußläufig zum Ortszentrum und zum Wanderweg durch die Reisfelder. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Estuvimos dos noches. Una estancia increíble. Habitación y baño amplios , todo nuevo y limpio en medio de un arrozal. Paz y relax absoluto. Desayuno incluido muy completo. Desayunamos y comimos riquísimo en el propio warung con unas vistas a todos los arrozales y montaña. Putu y Mita muy atentos y amables con todo. Cama grande y cómoda. En el propio alojamiento puedes alquilar motocicleta. Un 10 todo. Laura.

La gentillesse du personnel, ils m’ont aidé à organiser une excursion en rafting et une visite des rizières. Le guide était d’une grande bienveillance et a partagé ses connaissances. Le restaurant est excellent.

La staff è molto gentile, disponibile ed amichevole. La posizione è gradevole oltre ad essere centrale per l'esplorazione della zona. Camera e bagno (con finestra) spaziosi. Colazione buona. Posto autentico.

Viene fornito un solo asciugamano grande e non viene mai sostituito. Manca il phon. Ogni volta che si utilizza la doccia si bagna il pavimento del bagno.

Superbe homestay, chambre très agréable et belle, se réveiller dans les rizières c’est vraiment magnifique. L’emplacement est idéal et le restaurant de l’hôtel est un des meilleurs de la ville donc pas besoin d’aller loin pour se régaler !

Le warung a ouvert seulement 2 chambres ce qui donne une ambiance très familiale au séjour. Toute l'équipe du Warung est souriante et aux petits soins. La chambre est spacieuse et moderne. Très grand et bon lit. Il y a des rizières juste devant la chambre. On a mangé les 2 soirs au Warung qui est très bon.

L odeur dans la salle de bains, mais c'est assez fréquent à Bali. Bon à savoir pour ceux qui sont sensibles au bruit : il y a un karaoke juste à côté qui fonctionne l après-midi et le soir, et la route est passante.

Un véritable havre de paix au milieu des rizières, à seulement quelques minutes à pied du centre du village. La chambre, très spacieuse et confortable, offre une vue magnifique sur la nature environnante. Le personnel était aux petits soins, toujours attentif et souriant, rendant notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous avons adoré la tranquillité des lieux et l’atmosphère authentique de Sidemen. Idéal pour se ressourcer.

The accommodation was very close to the rice fields walk and the hosts were very helpful in arranging transport for us to get around as we didn’t have scooters

Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Staff even came very early on our last day so we could have breakfast before departure for the airport.

There was a bad smell from the drain in the bathroom.

Perfect homestay in Sidemen. Very quiet place. Large and very clean room. Excellent host, we were given water everyday. He organised airport transfers and arrange scooter rent and one-day guided trip in east Bali. Highly recommended!!!

We absolutely loved the location! This is a great place for someone who wants to experience a part of Bali that isn't inundated with tourists. We liked how close we were to some amazing sights and activities. For instance, there is a silver workshop literally across the street. There are also some great hikes within walking distance. The owner and his family were onsite often, and were very helpful with sharing information, etc.

We really wish that we would have stayed more than two nights.

This was an excellent property. Central enough to main sights and experiences, and easy enough to get around when we rented a scooter. Food at the attached warung was delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Due to the rural location insects were quite prominent but we were given fly spray which did the trick.

Everything! We returned twice because it was great. The boy who works there is just the sweetest he did everything he can to make our stay comfortable. Room and bathroom is great, cosy stay in Sidemen. We will be back a third time in the future

We had an excellent stay here. The staff are so friendly and helpful - this really made our stay. The rooms are clean, very spacious and have everything you need for a short or long stay. Location is great, very quiet but shops and restaurants within walking distance. There are two rooms here and we stayed in both - the views are amazing no matter which room you’re in! The breakfast is fantastic, so much choice and really good quality. My favourite is the fresh watermelon juice. There is also a warung here which serves really good local food for a very affordable price. This place has made us fall in love with Bali - I would recommend to anybody.

Really nice rooms, brand new, cleanest I have seen i. bali , the view, the bath and desk for working remotely. Close to some nice nature walks in Sidemen The owner is really warm and friendly and makes sure you will be taken care off the whole stay. Also food is great. Try the soto ayam :). Would book this again definitely.

the room is vast and beautiful, all interior new and of high quality, the matress comfy, the sheets and mosquito net in perfect condition, the ac is very quiet and works well, the bathroom is luxurious, everything is exceptionally clean the breakfast is plenty and yummy, if you want you can have very good and fair priced dinner in the adjacent warung/restaurant (which is tiny but filled with happy eating travelers every night) the view of rice fields and mount agung beautiful, the surrounding gardens well kept, the next street mostly quiet (except during rush hour, which is short so easy to overlook) the staff is friendly and helpful and provides all needed information, on top of that they go out of their way and far beyond the necessary to make you feel extra welcome and as a bonus there is a cute white duck living in the premises and tons on geckos to watch at night on the terrace.

We loved being right on the farm, being greeted with smoothies, the views, close to the sidemen rice terraces a must visit, breakfast was divine (we are raw vegans and were served delicious smoothies and fruit every rising), sitting on our patio, hosts were so kind, living like we were in a local neighborhood, the nature frequencies, many fruit stalls nearby!

The hosts were amazing! The place is very quiet, with only two rooms on the property. It is very traditional and very rural.

The internet can be slow at times, but that is not the owner's fault at all. He tried to get the best service possible for the area.

The host was really nice and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. The accommodation is located in a beautiful spot, surrounded by rice fields. There is a restaurant owned by the host, offering affordable and delicious food.

No complaints! Perhaps a nice addition would have been a full-length mirror on the bedroom side, but that's a minor detail.
