- Nice interior - Clean - Good amenities: bath tub with a nice pouch full of lotions and bath salts and all that

- The display to control the room lighting turned itself on automatically which was annoying especially during the night because it has brightness of thousand suns… so I had to put a chair and a towel over it so that I can actually sleep. Quite annoying

地理位置还是很满意的，对面就有机场大巴，走5分钟到路口就有地铁。旁边就有各种餐厅、便利店、olive young。如果可以，走十几分钟甚至能到明洞。员工服务也到位，而且是我这次行程里唯一一家提供全套洗漱用品的酒店。

虽然叫artist酒店，房间设计并没有让人特别惊喜的地方，中规中矩，性价比相对一般。

Great location and big rooms for a hotel room in asia

Compared to other hotels we stayed at on our trip to Korea the front desk was far less helpful, and in general they were not very helpful. For the price point it was disappointing that breakfast was not included.

Impeccable customer service, clean, close proximity to public transport stations, uninterrupted Wi-fi.

Rather dark rooms inspite of the lighting. The ceiling looked unfinished with visible markings.

Ich bin mit allem zufrieden, aber eines lässt mich nicht los: ich wurde definitiv beklaut in dem Hotel, ich war shoppen bei Naning9, habe die Tüte mit den neuen jeanshosen im Zimmer in der Nähe des Eingangs abgestellt und nach einigen Tagen bemerkt, dass plötzlich eine Hose fehlt. Meine Wertsachen habe ich selbstverständlich mitgenommen, aber muss ich jetzt auch meine neu eingekauften Dinge mitnehmen?? Das ist doch nicht zu fassen.

Sehr angenehmes Hotel! Gute Lage und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Ich lese immer viele Bewertungen vor Buchungen und die negativen konnte ich hier nicht nachvollziehen. Die Reinigung war sehr flexibel und zuverlässig! Sauberes und schönes Hotel.

Mir war ehrlich gesagt nichts negatives aufgefallen. Ein Mitarbeiter war etwas griesgrämig, aber ansonsten waren alle Mitarbeiter sehr höflich, hilfsbereit und freundlich!

Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was ideal for transit and enjoying dongdaemun.

We were genuinely impressed with Hotel The Artist. Although it is a two-star hotel, the experience was much better than we expected. The staff were absolutely wonderful — welcoming, friendly, patient and very helpful. We had an issue during our stay, and they went out of their way to understand and resolve it. Even when there was a language barrier, they patiently used a translation device to make sure they understood our needs. A special thank you to Lee, who was particularly helpful, professional and caring. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, we had a lovely experience and felt very well looked after. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel The Artist for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend this hotel.

It is convenient that you can request room cleaning on the day you wish.

You have to ask for many things yourself ; for example, towel, toilet paper. The staffs I encounter didn't really speak English so somehow it was hard to communicate even using application and ended up giving me false information that almost cost me extra money.

This place genuinely exceeded every expectation we had. The room was comfortable, well-sized for a couple, and spotlessly clean throughout our entire stay. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Exceptionally friendly, always present, and genuinely accommodating in every sense of the word, nothing felt like too much to ask. The kind of service you rarely find even at much more expensive hotels. The location deserves a special mention. If you want to be in the middle of the Myeong-dong tourist circus, this isn't your spot, and that's exactly why we loved it. Hotel The Artist sits in a calm, local neighbourhood in Seongbuk-gu where you feel like a resident rather than a tourist. The area is safe, authentic, and refreshingly free from crowds. And yet, you are never far from anything. Sungshin Women's University subway station is just a short walk away, putting you on Line 4 with direct connections to Myeong-dong (4 stops), Bukchon Hanok Village, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and virtually everywhere else in Seoul within 15-20 minutes. We explored 15 different areas of Seoul from this base, from Gangnam to Hongdae to Insadong, and the location never once felt inconvenient. Just around the corner is Happy Soyrice, a fantastic little local lunch spot we ended up visiting five times during our stay. That tells you everything about the neighbourhood. We left Seoul with incredible memories, and Hotel The Artist was a big part of that. Warm, clean, affordable, and perfectly located for anyone who wants to experience the real Seoul rather than just the tourist version. Highly recommended, we will absolutely be back. 감사합니다! 🇰🇷

整體裝潢真的還不錯 工業風很特別 且我們訂的房型還有浴缸，有附浴鹽 逛街回來泡澡很舒服

（1）格局很奇怪 浴缸面對的是床 且浴缸沒有門 若是家人朋友一起入住會有點尷尬 （2）雖然名稱是東大門，但其實距離東大門還有3-4站捷運，算蠻遠的 幸好離捷運站不遠，步行5分鐘內能到，對面也有公車站，蠻多台可直達景福宮 機場巴士也幾乎是送到門口 步行1分鐘可到飯店

The location

It was perfect for me but I was alone. For two people the room would have been a little small esp. if you have big luggage. There were signs in the elevator that the staff only had limited English skills but they were good enough to get along. The subway was only 5min. away. Bus stops were in front of the hotel. There were many shops and restaurant around because its an university area. But not so many english signs like other more touristic areas. I liked the local feeling.

The room was amazing

The location was very close to the bus pickup and it is located in a nice area. They provided free cold water bottles and the staff was exceptionally welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable.

I would have appreciated an area to lay my luggage out, and I did struggle with the lighting for the bathroom shower. I also was not exceptionally excited about having the glass window looking in from the bed area into the shower.

＊交通：誠信女大站出口走過來大約5分鐘/同一條馬路上可以坐(仁川)機場巴士6011，距離住宿點只要過馬路(3分鐘)，拉行李箱過馬路就好，去回程都是坐機場巴士，搭乘大眾交通但不想坐地鐵，覺得這點蠻方便的。 ＊只有入住一個晚上，但熱水、冷氣等使用下來都正常，房間裡整體設備感覺算新，遇到的人員也很親切，入住前、退房後都可以寄放行李。 補充：附近有小商圈，周遭步行五分鐘內有很多餐廳咖啡廳、速食店麵包店等，也有便利商店～整體來說很滿意！以後有需要會再次選擇入住～

The hotel had great design, and we got a welcome-bag with toiletries that was really good. The staff was nice. Free water in the reception. Netflix available on the tv. And a big bathtub.

The air-condition was blowing right on us when watching tv in the bed. And the room got really hot when the air-condition was not working because of no active card when leaving the room. It was a weird smell, almost like mould, and the toilet was leaking. You could clearly hear the hallway/elevator from the room.

Great location near many restaurants, cafés and shopping. Staff was friendly. Loved the layout of the rooms had a loft type feel with everything that we needed. Loved the amenity bag that they provided at the hotel upon check-in as well as the access to espresso and cappuccino.

Not enough hooks anywhere for towels, had to ask for another bath towel as they only provided one, bathroom is dark, no proper full length mirror.

The room! Big, spacious, new, clean, the shower was great! You even get an amenity kit. Also, bottles of water are available 24/7 at the reception. The hotel is close to the metro. The supermarket is around the corner, as well as cafes and restaurants. The bus connection to the airport is 5 minutes walking distance.

Excellent location, lively neighborhood with restaurants and shops, 5 min walk from the metro, nice room with bathtub and separate cabin shower. The room is not cleaned during your stay, unless you request it. I think this is good, no need for cleaning after every day.

1.首先是距离公交车站，地铁站都很近，步行三分钟的路程。尤其是楼下有直接通往机场的巴士，巴士大约20分钟一辆，非常方便。 2.房间干净卫生，空间很大。

除了距离市中心有点距离（大概坐地铁30分钟才能到达市中心），其他都很好

Sehr laut, auch wenn die Fenster geschlossen sind, da direkt davor eine Hauptverkehrsstraße liegt. Bett war nichts für meinen Rücken.

Fantastic hotel close to Metro and bus stops. Great value for money with very friendly and helpful staff. The staff are very willing to use a translator app to help overcome any language issues.

Double glazing on the windows might help to cut out some traffic noise, though the street was very quiet during the night
