Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Nos hôtes, très chaleureux, nous ont fait visiter les lieux, et nous avons pu discuter avec eux sur la commune et ses environs. Nous avons eu un feu de cheminée très réconfortant le soir ! Les repas sont très copieux et délicieux !

Abdel est très généreux et sympathique. Venez ici si vous souhaitez être accueilli par une famille locale. En plus: il a cuisiné le meilleur tajine qu’on a mangé au Maroc (agneau + frites).

Von Empfang bis Abreise einfach toll! Das mit Abstand beste Tajine und ein toller Empfang mit leckeren Keksen. Die Lage ist schön ruhig, es gibt einen Garten und man kann gut die Gegend erkunden.

Riad Idar has lots of personal touches, having been created by the owner, Abdel. He's a lovely host, and gave us very good breakfasts and dinners. He was also a great guide on our trek up to remote hilltop villages. The views from the riad's roof terrace are spectacular.

Abdel is an incredible host who treated us like family from the moment we arrived. Our room featured a stunning mountain view, and the back garden was the perfect, peaceful spot to soak up the sun. A highlight was the guided hike Abdel took us on through the Ouirgane valley and traditional Berber villages an unforgettable experience. To top it off, the food was exceptional; we enjoyed the best traditional Tagine and Moroccan tea we’ve ever had. Plus, the on-site parking is very secure. We can't recommend this place enough! We will be definitely back here again.

Deze mensen zijn heel vriendelijk, gastvrij en het verblijf was heel schoon! We hebben heerlijk gegeten (diner en ontbijt) Ondanks we laat aankwamen werden we warm ontvangen.

Tijdens winterse temperaturen kan het er erg koud worden, er stond gelukkig een elektrisch kacheltje klaar en extra dekens.

Schimmelbildung im Zimmer Ca.. 200 Meter Fußweg über einen schlecht beleuchteten und matschign Weg. Kaltes Zimmer und die beworbene Klimaanlage funktionierte wohl schon seit langen nicht mehr.

Fair and kind owner, great place to stay!

The hosts made us feel very welcome. The open fire kept us warm and we were well fed, and our bikes were stored safely overnight.

A little surprised to have a family member access a locked room within the apartment without notice late in the evening.

Abdel is a very thoughtful and diligent host. They serve fresh, tasty traditional Berber food. Abdel also directed us to interesting trails with lovely views and friendly Berber villages.

Riad à l'écart de la route, parking privé proche du Riad, accueil chaleureux. Endroit charmant, beau cadre, que ce soit en intérieur ou en extérieur. Très calme, éloigné de la route. Possibilité de mettre la climatisation. Très bon petit déjeuner que nous avons pris à l'extérieur dans le jardin au frais.

The Riad is very comfortable and the owner does so much to help if he can. We were looked after wonderfully. The rooms were cool even in 35 degree heat and the Riad is slightly off the main road so it's very peaceful.

The single beds are very firm.

We loved our stay at Riad Idar. We booked two rooms as a family and had access to a large and comfy sitting area. Breakfast and dinner were both fantastic, and we enjoyed meeting the family. They were also kind enough to arrange a hiking guide for us, which was fantastic. I would highly recommend organizing a hike in the area. Lovely stay overall!

Nothing, it was a great stay!

Traditionally designed house, clean and well located. Property run by super friendly family, who made us feel like at home. We were welcomed by father, received tea and lots of information about the hiking in the area. Delicious food (spoiler - the host used to cook professionally). Highly recommended! If only we could stay longer... :)

Abdelkabir is the owner of the place. He made our stay easy and busy. Bespoke hike trough the beautiful places, helps us with any questions we asked. Food...that's another story. Homemade olive oil, butter, bread, vegetables....dinner next to the fireplace. Delicious in any level. Privat secure parking. It was experience we will talk about for long time. Cannot thing of anything.

We had an amazing time at Riad Idar. Our host and his family were so kind to us - they made us so welcome, and went above and beyond our expectations in taking care of us when one of us was ill. The home-cooked Moroccan food they provided was delicious and they were happy to accommodate our requests. We had an entire floor to ourselves, with balcony, mountain and garden views, wood fire, lounge space, bedrooms and ensuites. The bed was very comfortable and we slept blissfully. This was just what we needed as a break from the hustle and bustle of the city we came from. Our host took us on a 2.5 hour walk around the local hill villages, and gave us a sense of the local agriculture, history, society, culture, and the impressive water engineering, as well as some amazing views. It was sobering to see the impact of the Sep 2023 earthquake (we were there only ten weeks after the quake), but good to see repairs being made and the great work the government is doing to repair and rehome affected families. Our riad itself was fine, but some of the buildings nearby had clearly been impacted. All the locals were delighted we came and we were pleased to be able to support the recovery in a small way by our presence as tourists. There is a shop in the village and a number of good cafes and restaurants around, but we were content to eat home-cooked food in the riad. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of walks in the area. We were presented with the WiFi code when we arrived and had fast internet, but mobile data coverage was excellent as well. Our whole experience in Morocco was delightful and everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and our time in Ouirgane at Riad Idar was the pinnacle.

We look forward to seeing the area fully restored after the earthquake, with everyone back in their own homes again.

Fantastic stay with Abdel Kebir. It was pleasure to join their family and give them some support after the earthquake tragic that hit the area recently.

The property is spacious, comfortable and private, with a garden, set amongst orchards and enveloped by the mountains. Authentic, friendly, rural village. The view from the rooftop terrace was amazing. Abdel, the host is so kind and thoughtful. Warm, smiling and gently attentive. He brought us a wonderful breakfast each morning, arranged taxis and always went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant. We so enjoyed the traditional Berber meal cooked by his mother which we ate at the family home and where we were even able to watch his father milking their cow and caring for their animals. My daughter and I felt safe and relaxed, the stay a truly special experience.

The property was amazing! We had the whole place to ourselves and a roof top terrace. The host was so kind and threw in so many extras like tea and sweets on arrival, pop corn in the evening when we requested a bottle opener and not to mention the delicious and generous breakfasts he cooked for us every morning! We also received a free lunch delicious tuna salad and fresh bread when we had paid for a guided hike up the mountain to the Berber villages.

The hospitality! It was exceptional. Abdel Kader and his family gave us the warmest welcome. He prepared the homemade Hammam for us and then invited us for tea with his parents. They showed us their house, their farm and animals. Such a good experience !

We had a very nice stay at RIAD IDAR. The host was very nice to prepare a tea for us when we arrived. He gave us a lot of info on the hikng that we planned and was very kind in keeping our bags the next day until we were back from the hiking. We had dinner cooked by his mom and it was delicious. He has been a great host. Definitely recommended

Abdelkabir, the host is incredibly nice and caring. He delivered breakfast at the agreed time every morning, his mother prepeared wonderful tajine for dinner. The location is nice, we were the 1st booking.com guests in this riad. It is a budget place with complete equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a salon (morrocan style), a small combined bathroom and a sunny yard. Abdelkabir is open for ideas and reflection to make it a good place.

Still a few things need to be done to make it really cozy. Very hard to find! Hopefully there is a sign at the road for the next guests. But communcation vis telephone worked well and fast.
