The beds are very very hard. Being non-smokers, the smell of smoke coming through the door from the main house was terrible.

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026It is a good halfway point for a trip between Cape Town and Gqeberha. The place was clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable overnight stay. The host was friendly and welcoming and gladly assisted when I suffered a minor injury(entirely my own fault).

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026We were travelling with our two medium size dogs and there was more than ample room in the unit for them to sleep on the floor. Also the garden area gave them a good space to roam. The unit itself is well maintained and equipped and clean. The beds (two 3/4) were a little harder then we are used to but we slept very well. Bee Comfy is located close to restaurants and shops in one direction and the beach is a short drive in the other.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2025We did not took breakfast. Place was very neat and comfortable. We love it. The host was very friendly and nice. We did enjoy our stay.
There was a big miss understanding between me and Booking.com. They did asked me if I want 35% pensioners discount and I did say yes. I paid R845 for 2 nights. On arrival the host told me I can only pay at arrival and it was 2 x R650 = R1300. Booking.com did not receive money. If you take R1300.00 and take 35% discount from it, you get R845. I thought I paid in advance and on arrival I heard that I still owe the money and it was a diffrent amount. I was not happy about the miss understanding. But I did not want feelings with the host and paid the R1300.00.

Nothing, everything was tip top. If this was a beach holiday, then perhaps the location would have been less than ideal, however, having said that, their price justifies driving to the beach if need be.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2023The host was very loving and friendly towards us and our dog. Dog had loads of room to play where he wasn't disturbed. Area was surprisingly more spacious than the picture imply. We received complimentary water and also had access to great wifi and tv channels such as Disney+ and Netflix. The inverter was also very helpful and made loadshedding less of a headache. Would highly recommend 👌
Bed was a bid harder to what we were used to but we quickly adapted. Bathroom is better used for one person at a time.
