Struttura moderna, curata nei particolari, molto attenta al green. Colazione nella norma anche se non economica. Gentilezza del personale.

Indicatori non chiari per l'accesso alla struttura. Si deve andare nella zona ristoro che non è nella stessa area di dove sono le camere. E anche gli indicatori stradali di divieto d'accesso in una strada non sono chiari. Poca attenzione alle esigenze di una colazione diversa da quella continentale.

A quiet, entirely self-check-in spot that feels more like a base camp, featuring very basic rooms as advertised. More to return to room to rest and clean up, and spend the rest of the time outdoors. The walks around the property is amazing. Well marked and good views. Breakfast is simple and decent.

Wifi could be better. The reception is poor and wifi is provided, but the signal is weak. While bathroom is clean, the shower pressure is very weak. A trickle at times. Parking lots should be marked out clearly. Some guests takes up far more space in the parking lot which made other cars unable to use the space. Take caution there are swarms of midges around the car parking area outside the accommodation. (first week Sept)

Wij verbleven hier 3 nachten als uitvalsbasis om dit deel van Schotland te bezoeken. De regio is supermooi. Prima faciliteiten. Super ruime kamer en groot bed (en veel stopcontacten ;-)). Hele propere accommodatie. De procedure om de sleutel te krijgen is goed uitgelegd in de mail.

The room is exactly as pictured and the team was great at communicating check-in instructions. Friendly staff!

Lovely place, reminds me of a posh youth hostel. Very clean, great communal area with microwave and crockery. We had a disable-friendly room which was very comfy.

The drainage in the wet room style bathroom was a bit slow. Please look into it to prevent flooding.

That the room was big and very clean. It was really in a great location in the nature . Also,the common area was a big plus and kitchenette.checking in was straight forward thanks to the reminder of checking email.

Our room was facing the car park and you heard people checking in and rolling their suitcases. The room was clean but was more facilitating for wheelchair user great but what about if your able. It missed a mirror in the rooms (we booked two rooms) to dry your hair. The bathroom mirror was to low for anyone taller then 6 foot. Our room shower was not easy to use and the handle fell off.

L’hotel è immerso nel verde, in stile scandinavo, pulito profumato, con un’area comune dove prepararsi i pasti o la colazione. Parcheggio gratuito in loco, c’è anche un bar per fare colazione. Un letto super grande e molto confortevole. Il check in e check out si fa in autonomia con codici che ti fornisce la struttura.

Nulla, unica nota la camera non è grandissima per due persone ma per una notte va benissimo!

Había poco espacio de almacenamiento. Aunque los accesos al hotel son fáciles, no hay personal.

We all really loved staying here, we only stayed for one night but would have enjoyed to stay for longer and be able to explore more of the area. Learning about the projects they have and all the activities available was fascinating. The rooms were comfortable, the shared areas were big, the kitchen was sorted with appliances for everyone to use, friendly vibes with other guests, everyone took care of their things and left everything clean after their use. We weren't sure if there would be plates and cutlery available but surely they provide everything.

I would only add more information about the recycling bins to prevent any confusion. Other than that, we loved it all!

I like supporting a trust endeavor. We got to do a short walk on the property as part of our stay. We liked having access to some basic kitchen facilities. The key service check-in was different and worked well.

The rooms were very small. Not much room to move around or four hour luggage. There was no chair or table. Of course there was the common area that had a picnic style table and sofas, but it’s always nice to have a chair in your room. There was a small stool that you could sit on. Probably the biggest issue was that we could not get any hot water for a shower.

Nos dieron una habitación amplia(minusválidos).Tranquilidad fuera al estar situado en plena naturaleza. Dispones de utensilios básicos en la zona común de la cocina y zona con sofás para leer o tomar algo.

Pocas opciones de comida en el restaurante. Aunque informan de que hay un pueblecito cercano, son pocas casas sin opción a poder encontrar nada para comer. La luz verde de emergencia estaba justamente encima de la cama. La puerta de acceso a las habitaciones desde el hall suena bastante cada vez que entra o sale alguien, es un poco molesta. No había agua caliente si por la tarde cuando llegamos ni por la mañana, lo comuniqué y nos dijeron que era extraño que eso ocurriese, pues tienen servicio de mantenimiento. Probamos de todas formas las manivelas de la ducha y nada. Te informan que el check-in es desde las 4:00-7:00pm, pero luego llegas, no hay nadie y puedes entrar cuando quieras con las claves que previamente te facilitan.

We stayed for a single night and enjoyed our time. The hotel was clean, the room was well-equipped (a big plus for the comfy chair), and it was spacious. Check-in and check-out were cleverly automated, and finding the otherwise reclusive spot was easy.

Before my arrival, I received multiple lengthy messages about the check-in and other options (e.g., breakfast) at the hotel. It took some time to gather all the necessary info for our single-night stay (i.e., how to check in and check out).

Es un lugar en plena naturaleza. Es un tipo albergue, pero muy moderno. Se nota que está renodelado, la habitación era muy amplia y cómoda. La cama genial! El entorno es muy bonito y tiene zonas comunes para comer, desayunar... tiene microondas, nevera, platos, tazas... no tiene fuegos para cocinar.

Aunque hay un tlfn de contacto por si pasa algo importante, es incómodo hacer todo automático y no tener algún personal al que recurrir si tiene problemas en el acceso.

Free parking available at the property. Many brochures regarding common attractions nearby. Hosts pay attention to limit light pollution here! Fully self-service check-in, so most likely you can check in whenever you want! There was a communal space. Breakfast was OK.

We were concerned about the cleanliness here, especially in terms of bathroom. The tables at the restaurant were dirty, although we were one of the very first people there in the morning - really low chances someone left the table just before we came. The room was really small, we had to have our luggage by the door to keep it laid for convenience of using and quickly packing in the morning, so in case of emergency it would definitely be problematic. Considering the amount of possible guests at once, the parking should have lines for people's guidance on how to park - there were cars parked frivolously, having plenty of space on both sides, which wasted places for ~3 cars and we struggled when we arrived (and people still arrived after us). Comparing the place, including the price, to the other places we stayed at during our trip, this place didn't deliver.

It's a new facility and the rooms are comfortable (a bit minimal, but nice and clean). The cafe and staff were very nice.

The midges are super aggressive there, but not the fault of the owners.

C’est un bâtiment neuf et moderne. L’équipement dans la cuisine commune suffit. L’emplacement géographique au coeur de la foret est génial et on peut partir directe sur plusieurs chemins différent derrière le logement. En plus il y a à 3’ de marche le bâtiment principal avec un café et des activités tourné autour de la conservation et la replantation des forets pour encourager une foret dans son état naturelle. Le personnel y est très enthousiaste et connait les différents côtés du sujet.

Les portes des chambres sont équipés d’une mécanisme de fermeture qui fait que c’est difficile de ne pas faire du bruit.

Το πρωινό ήταν λίγο φτωχό. Η πόρτα δεν κλειδωνε απο μεσα με κανονικό κλειδί πάρα μόνο απο ενα συρτη, θα μπορούσε κάποιος να ανοίξει τη πόρτα απέξω μεχρι ενα σημείο, το οποίο μας άφησε ενα περίεργο συναίσθημα.

La struttura è davvero bellissima, un edificio storico protetto molto affascinante. Ci siamo trovati benissimo: la camera era grande, pulita e il letto matrimoniale super comodo. Si trova un po' isolata, nell'entroterra tra le Highlands e l'Isola di Skye, ma per noi è stata una base d'appoggio strategica (Skye dista circa 50 minuti). CONSIGLIATO!

Segnaliamo solo due piccoli dettagli: servirebbe un foglietto con le istruzioni per capire come aprire e chiudere le finestre, e se ci si arriva di notte la zona isolata e il nome dell'hotel possono fare un po' impressione. Il parcheggio è limitato, quindi capita di dover parcheggiare in doppia fila; fatelo solo se prevedete di ripartire presto la mattina per non bloccare gli altri. Nota finale: ci sono i famigerati midges scozzesi all'esterno, ma fortunatamente non troppi.

Alles war sauber und der Keycode- Zugang hat geklappt. Bequeme Betten. Großer Aufenthaltsraum, wo man sitzen, lesen und sich was warm machen konnte ( nicht kochen). Parkplatz vor der Tür. Gute und auf Nachhaltigkeit bedachte Unterkunft. Frühstück im Cafe um die Ecke. Mückengitter vor dem Fenster ( ein Glück!)

Sehr beengter Raum, Mini- Waschbecken. Alles recht funktional, neu, aber dadurch auch etwas steril. Kleinere technische Mängel. Sehr teuer für unseren Geschmack.

The corridors were noisy and we could hear anyone speaking out loud anywhere.

A unique experience in a nature reserve. The room was a bit small, but very clean and with a comfortable bed. Check-in went smoothly and communication was excellent. Breakfast was good too, though not super convenient—if it happens to rain, keep in mind you'll have to walk for five minutes in the rain.

Wi-Fi info are at the entrance of the property, among other indications. There might be reported also in the room to ease the access.

L’établissement est situé au cœur de la nature. Sa construction en bois le rends très chaleureux. Cela donne envie d’y rester longtemps.

Les portes des chambres et du couloir sont très bruyantes. Elles claquent en se fermant. Les parois des chambres pourraient être davantage insonorisées.

Il posto è in mezzo al nulla a contatto diretto con la natura. Ottimo se si cerca questo tipo di esperienza nelle Highlands. Le stanze sono moderne e ristrutturate di recente. C’è una grande sala comune dove poter mangiare, le stanze non sono enormi ma funzionali. Ampio parcheggio e possibilità di buona colazione nel caffè adiacente (3 min a piedi) - colazione molto buona e fornita! Il self check in è stato estremamente rapido e funzionale.

There was absolutely no sound proofing between the rooms. I could hear the lady next door breathing...it was that bad. I didnt sleep well at all because of this. Also: it felt a bit clinical and food options are very limited due to the very small window for food in the cafe next door...which you have to book 24 hours in advance. With a bit of thought...this place could be amazing...but it just isn't at the moment.

Las almohadas. La cocina (no tiene sitio para cocinar, ni utensilios como cuchillos para cortar una sandía, por ejemplo). La habitación es muy pequeña (no se puede abrir la maleta y dejarla a un lado)

Vi förstod inte att det var långt från pubar o matställen, fanns inget att äta på platsen. Vi fick åka till närmsta samhälle för att äta. Rummen var ganska små, fanns ingen plats för att förvara resväskan på i rummet. Passar nog mer för de som vill ha självhushållning och kanske mer för de som vill vandra..

We absolutely loved our stay at An Spiris Accommodation at Dundreggan Rewilding Centre! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful setting and the peaceful atmosphere. The accommodation was comfortable, spotless and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The location is truly special, surrounded by the breathtaking Highland landscape and the wonderful rewilding project. It was a pleasure to wake up in such a unique and inspiring environment. Everything was perfect for our one-night stay, and we only wished we could have stayed longer! We would highly recommend An Spiris to anyone looking for a peaceful, memorable and genuinely special experience in the Scottish Highlands. We would happily return!

Die Lage im Waldgebiet war ruhig und entspannt. Der Aufenthaltsraum war groß und bot für uns als Familie mit 4 Kindern einen schönern Ort um abends Spiele zu machen.

Leider gab es keine Möglichkeit etwas selbst zu kochen. Das ging aus dem Text und den Bildern nicht eindeutig hervor. Ist trotzdem ein schöner Aufenthalt gewesen.

Struttura molto recente, moderna ma perfettamente integrata nella natura. Camera enorme, letto comodissimo. Check-in automatizzato molto efficiente.

L'assenza del personale rende il tutto un pochino asettico ma, di per sé non è un grande problema.

Todo. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y las camas eran muy cómodas. El desayuno estaba muy bien, el personal era muy amable y el espacio era muy bonito.

Lo único que podría decir más negativo es que el pestillo para cerrar la puerta por dentro era un cerrojo de cadena, así que se podía abrir la puerta un palmo cuando estabas dentro de la habitación. Hubiéramos preferido un pestillo normal que no permitiese que se abra la puerta directamente. Pero bueno, hacía su papel como pestillo y cumplió su función, tampoco fue algo malo, solo una sugerencia.

The accommodation was excellent, new facilities and very clean. There was an issue with getting our key at check-in but a staff member was on-site very quickly to resolve it. The area around the accommodation was very nice too, with short nature walks showing the sustainability activites which take place around the rewilding center.

The breakfast was my favourite that I've had on my Scottish travels so far; the continental style included some really good quality ingredients and non dairy options. The baked goods were excellent.

There was no WiFi and because An Spiris is out in the sticks, there was no chance of using my 5G to complete the work assignments I needed to do. We called the staff, because there is no one on site after 6pm, and they said they would get it fixed in the morning but that wouldn't be any good for us as we only stayed one night.

It's beautiful , great place to spend time with family.

The rooms are simple but good enough. The Rewilding centre offers 4 walking paths in the surrounding area between 30 min to 2 hours.

Nulla, se proprio dovessi fare il pignolo consiglierei di sostituire una lampadina del bagno fulminata perché mancava un po' di luce, ma nulla di importante.

Schönes Hotel das praktisch vollautomatisiert / anonym funktioniert. Hat alles was man braucht und auch der gemeinsame Aufenthaltsraum ist gepflegt.

Jag gav personalen ett ok, för det var både självincheckning och självutcheckning, så vi träffade aldrig personalen. Men själva boendet var väldigt modernt, rent, fräscht och fint. Mysig boende men långt ifrån affärer. För oss var det perfekt. Lugnt och skönt. Men vill man besöka en bar eller handla något till rummet så måste man göra det innan man kommer dit.

Very comfortable clean place to stay and the cafe was ok to eat at, nothing special but perfectly adequate. Also and most important it's a charity that is doing great work and very good that they are educating the public about rewilding

I found the double password for entry a bit of a pain as I had to ask for the inner door password to be sent to me . Also I was informed by email that the cafe closed at 4pm as I was cycling it was too far to cycle to another cafe to get evening meal. On the web site for the venue it actually stays open to 6pm. I have to make several attempts at contacting the venue to get this confirmwd

La sala común con nevera y microondas es muy útil y se está muy a gusto allí. El entorno es precioso. La ubicación es remota y por eso le he puesto un poco menos de puntuación, pero todo depende de lo que busques y lo que necesites, para explorar la zona del lago Ness y como punto intermedio hacia Skye.

The relaxed atmosphere and silence at Dundreggan is very restorative. Breakfast was simple and good. It was great to be able to start the day with a walk around the rewilding project.

The sink in the bathroom was very small although there was space for a bigger sink. The room was quite small in general, but it was fine.

Good continental breakfast, however being charged an extra £4,20 for a Cappuccino when we had a B&B rate is not fair. The rooms were very tidy and clean, although definitely too small.

The cost of a room is definitely overpriced. The room was so small that, in order to open our only luggage, the only space available was in front of the door, therefore blocking the exit in case of an emergency. The sink in the bathroom was so small for no reason as it could accommodate asily a bigger one.

Stanza piccola (ma questo non è un problema) e con odore di umido/chiuso al punto da dover dormire con le finestre aperte, lenzuola sporche e di misura inadatta al materasso (vedasi foto), scarico del bagno difettoso. Prezzo esagerato per quello che offre. Inoltre, l'account dell'hotel è stato probabilmente hackerato perché ho ricevuto una mail con un link esterno direttamente nella chat di booking. Assolutamente sconsigliato.

I enjoyed my stay at the Rewilding Centre. The accommodation was simple, clean and comfortable. The common room was pleasant.

Tall bedside tables but only 6” square. Breakfast served in cafe which is a separate building. Hand towel needed in common room as well as tea towel.

Modern facilities with plenty of plug points. Helpful staff. Quick response when we reported the heating was not on, an electric heater was provided. Breakfast excellent.

Non c'è nessuno ad accoglierti. Le camere sono sì essenziali ma anche molto piccole, aprendo la valigia non ci si può muovere. Sanitari e doccia erano puliti ma dovrebbero pulire meglio il pavimento, soprattutto negli angoli. C'è scritto che per accedere alla reception c'è una porta con il codice, ma spingendo leggermente la porta questa si apre (la zona sembra sicura, ma sostanzialmente può entrare chiunque). Le porte delle camere non si possono chiudere dell'interno, c'è solo una catenina.

Excellent facilities with a warm-minimalist interior design. The comfty beds and high-pressure showers were exactly what I needed after a long day in the rain, likewise the 'drying room.' Breakfast foods were varied and well-selected; the center's mission felt good to support.

This is not an ideal stay for folks traveling without a car (walkers, cyclists, etc.). The shared roads from Fort Augustus are quite dangerous, and the center is four miles from a very active outdoor gun range.
