Staff was the best. Beautiful views and a really cool spot. Food was the best I have had in a homestay.

Erg lieve en sociale familie. Het is een echte Homestay, dus je bent daadwerkelijk te gast bij de familie. Het gezamenlijke diner was erg gezellig en het eten was heel erg lekker.

Niks! Maar weer dat je bij deze Homestay in een Hut slaapt, de wasruimte gezamenlijk is en dat het pad er naartoe niet heel kwalitatief is (vooral met regen).

Un peu difficile d’accès, faire attention en 2 roues sur la boue! Et peut être serait-il bien de proposer la vente de bouteille d’eau à l’homestay? Ça manque, surtout après un soirée Happy water 😂

Tang is a fun an inviting host. The cabins are cute and over look the creek. Beds are comfy, come with a bug net, and there are plenty of outlets near the bed. The dinner was family style and delicious! There is a nice swimming hole down the road from the homestay. It’s at the bottom of a beautiful valley. The road down is 15% grade so be careful after rain.

Tang and family were the most welcoming of hosts, they made us feel like part of the family. The location, while out of the way, is beautiful, with wild swimming a 2 minute walk from the bungalow. Set in a quiet farming valley, you really feel able to fully relax in the surroundings. The family meal in the evening (an extra cost) and included breakfast were delicious and meant we didn't have to ride back out in search of food, which we were very greatful for. We really enjoyed the communal firepit in the evening, drinking beers and swapping stories with other guests, while drinking the local happy water was actively encouraged.

There was nothing we didn't like, just be aware that it is a very rural location and the access is a dirt track which may become slippery with heavy rain.

La famille qui tient l’endroit est adorable, on est tombé sur un jour avec d’autres voyageurs super cool donc bonne ambiance. On était autour du feu avec des bières le soir. Le repas était riche et bon !! L’emplacement est super beau.

Il n’y a pas de Clim mais un ventilateur et ca a été en ce mi avril. Petit déjeuner salé : pho qui était bon !!

Wir hatten hier einen der schönsten Abende unserer Reise. Abends gabs Lagerfeuer und es würde für alle Essen gekocht für einen kleinen Aufpreis. Ebenfalls gab es auch für einen kleinen Aufpreis Frühstück. Betten weich und es gab ne Dicke Decke dazu

Everything at this homestay was amazing - they have gone above and beyond making this such a special spot. The meals were amazing - the BEST spring rolls we've had.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften in der Region nicht angemessen: man erreicht es über einen, nach Regen, schlammigen Pfad, überall in der Nachbarschaft liegt in eigentlich schönster Umgebung Müll. Die Unterkünfte sind einfache Hütten, Fenster in den Hütten vorhanden aber sehr schmutzig. Die eigentlich schönen Wandteppiche fallen zT von den Wänden, Fußbodenbelag in die Jahre gekommen / blättert ab. WC / Gemeinschaftsbank über Weg mit runden Steinen erreichbar. Harte Matratze, wie oft in Vietnam, gute & saubere Bettwäsche.

Hôte très accueillant et d'une grande aide lorsqu'on en a eu besoin. Endroit magnifique, isolé de tout, au calme, au bord d'un ruisseau. La nourriture préparée par notre hôte était exceptionnelle, la meilleure de notre voyage. Encore un grand merci pour ce moment partagé.

The host treated me like family. This homestay was very peaceful. The room was right by a stream of water that made it super relaxing when sleeping. The food was delicious. I'd definitely stop by again in the future.

Homestay loin du bruit et au milieu de la nature; vous pourrez vous endormir avec le son du ruisseau qui passe juste à côté des chambres et vous réveiller au milieu de la verdure ! Nous sommes arrivés dans la nuit donc il n'a pas été évident de trouver l'endroit mais le gérant est venu nous aider et nous a accueillis avec un délicieux repas, qui s'est terminé autour du feu avec un peu de musique et beaucoup de rires ! Tout est très propre, les salles de bains sont nickel et les bungalows hyper charmants. La literie est un peu dure mais nous avons très bien dormi quand même. Prévoyez des vêtements chauds en période hivernale. Merci encore à nos merveilleux hôtes pour leur accueil chaleureux et ce bon moment.

Endroit retiré difficile à trouver mais vraiment génial au calme avec des hôtes très gentils qui font le repas le soir et mangent avec nous.

Très bon séjour ! Ne prenez pas peur devant l'accès difficile, nous avons passé un très bon moment avec une famille généreuse et accueillante. Les mobils homes et points d'eau sont propres et en bon état et la cuisine était délicieuse. A recommander chaudement. Cam on!

The introduction to the Dao Tien ethnic group. We were lucky to be part of the inauguration ceremony of the new village houses that were built by the government, after landslides and floodings have destroyed some old houses. Our host took us there. This way we have seen the traditional clothes and dances of the local ethnic group. What a diverse and rich cultural heritage in the region!

Notre séjour à Lung Muoi a été riche en échanges. L’endroit est magnifique, au milieu des rizières, proche d’une rivière où l’on peut se baigner. Très calme et apaisant. Les bungalows ont une petite terrasse qui donne sur la rivière c’est très appréciable. Les hôtes sont adorables, dans le partage de leurs cultures d’ethnie. Les repas sont copieux et délicieux (150k / personne). Une expérience inoubliable ! Merci beaucoup

Pour information, ce qui n’est pas forcément dérangeant, les matelas sont au sol dans le bungalow et il y a qu’un petit meuble pour poser les affaires

Das Traditionelle Haus liegt etwas erhöht in einem kleinen Dorf. Das Dorf ist abgelegen. Was der Reiz von diesem Ort macht. Wir haben mit der Familie Abend gegessen. Das Essen war das beste was wir bisher hatten. Die liebevolle Familie hat uns ca 5 Minuten geht weg zu einem Bach geführt. Das Wasser war sehr erfrischend. Die Häuschen und das WC mit der Douche ist einfach aber sehr geschmackvoll Eingerichtet. Wir empfehlen diesen Ort an allen die der Vietnamesische Kultur näher kommen möchten.

This was the most beautiful homestay we stayed at during the cao bang loop. Beautiful stream and mini waterfall out your bedroom window. Wonderful, caring hosts. Yummy dinner (catered for us as vegans! And it was so delicious!) surrounded by baby animals running around. So nice!

We had the most magical time with tang and his family. You don’t get more authentic than this. A remote village where you will be welcomed by tang and his family. He took us to swim in a lovely bit of the stream and then cooked the most magnificent family meal we enjoyed with his wife and children and spent the evening drinking happy water and using google translate with lots of laughter. I would recommend going out of your way to go here. Will be a memory for ever. ❤️

Amazing off the beaten path location! Wonderful spot to swim close by. The owners were some of the nicest and joyful ethnic peoples I had stayed with. Did a trek with one of the owners. We all had dinner together as a family. I loved it so much I went back twice on my travels

Splendid stay, its clear hospitality is in his jeans and with a work rate as exceptional as the owners it makes your stay an electric experience, personally for me my favourite moment was the fam din din

You arrive in a marvellous remote area and you are welcomed by a charming family. Everything is great, the view, the calm atmosphere, the food (we had an great hotpot for dinner and a delicious pho for breakfast), buffalo close. The bungalow was comfy and the shower worked perfectly. It was a super experience and I will definitely come back next time I got to Cao Bang.

We got lost in the area and had to drive in the dark. We booked this homestay last minute. We arrived tired and cold. But the welcome was very warm. A delicious meal was prepared with products from their own garden and it was very cozy by the fire and the Happy Water ;) It was very cozy with the host family. The homestay is very idyllically laid out, basic furnishings but everything is very neat and clean. The garden and surroundings are beautiful! It was wonderful to wake up and have breakfast in the middle of the beautiful, non-touristy, landscape and rural life. For an authentic experience with enough comfort, we definitely recommend this!

Amazing experience! The bungalows are hidden in the middle of a beautiful valley full of rice fields. The room had everything needed and the bathroom was clean. We had dinner with the family and it was on of the best experiences that we had in Vietnam. Very good food. The host helped us with everything we needed. This location is a must in your trip in the north of Vietnam. Very near to Cao Bang it is the perfect place to sleep if you are doing the trip from Ha Giang.

Very welcoming. Lovely quiet environment. Spending a lot of time with the guest, sharing breakfast, dinner and went swimming with him and his 2 lovely children near the river.

While being invited to eat and drink with them, i did have to pay for it afterwards, which I wouldn't have minded if i was just told beforehand. It gave a little bit of a bitter after taste.

This is for people who really seek a quiet, remote, authentic experience. The location is in a small village in the middle of nature. Its beautiful and quiet. you can bath in the river just 3 min walk from the room and hike around. We loved it! Thang the owner, his wife and the children are amazing! They hosted us in the best way! They don't speak English but it really didn't matter - with google translate and smiles we solved everything! Breakfast and dinner were great and we enjoyed eating dinner with the family.

Its not a problem, just stating: the rooms are very simple (but comfy), the shower and toilets are shared. If you don't have your own wheels - forget about it. The ONLY thing we didn't like is there was no decent coffee... only instant 3 in 1

One of the best places we ever stayed in. Tanh and his family are super welcoming and generous. Good food. Wonderful cabins in the middle of the countryside, you wake up at the sound of the river... Just magical. Nice activities to do in the area. NB : Just be sure to bring some food because the place is a bit remote and lunch not included ;)

The accommodation really is in the middle of nowhere. It’s a great stop in between the Ha Giang Loop and Hanoi. The place is pretty basic, but the host family is absolutely lovely and the food was fantastic. We had a good evening with some happy water and slept like babies

Our stay at Homesoon was an absolute delight. The rooms are clean and nice and the homemade food is just delicious. The hosts are extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. We had a great time with them in their wonderful home. Homesoon is everything we hoped it would be and even more. Thank you!

The family were very welcoming and had a supply of cold beer waiting for us. They lit a fire to keep us warm and made us feel very welcome. The facilities were clean and functional. Beds were comfortable and the scenery was good. This place was an unexpected highlight for me and the group.

Google took us on a steep and difficult route to get to this place and I expect some people would have struggled to find it and ride there but really that just added to the adventure.

This was my favorite stay from my entire vietnam trip. The host family was lovely, the dinner I had with them was great (I'm vegan and got some delicious tofu, greens and bamboo), and the location is just indescribable. The mattress is a typical vietnamese hard mattress, so be ready for that, but the pillows and blanket were comfy. Quite rustic, but personally I loved it.

Not technically hard to find, but google maps tries to send you down an offroad steep downhill path, which was too difficult for me and I lost an hour to a few dozen meters. Don't drive where google maps wants you to! Instead wait for the email from the owners with directions, just drive the long way around where you can drive on stone except for the last two hundred meters where it's already flat.

The place and the food were great, and the dog is really nice !
