Fever Tree Cottage

Cottage was clean. Host was friendly. Location was good. There were sufficient blankets and heaters as it was cold. There was coffee, tea, sugar, and other necessities available. Will definitely go back

Carla's thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Her welcome note and leaving milk, rusks and breakfast goodies set the tone for a wonderfully quiet, relaxing home from home. I will definitely return!

The host was amazing, friendly and helpful. Instructions very clear. Lots of personal touches most dont even think about. The view from the main room was stunning. Thank you for the incredible experience.

The hosts thoughtfulness and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Thank you for the cereals, rusks, coffee pods, water, milk and for the chocolate 🤗 The view was breathtaking. Wish we were able to spend more time at Fevertree but was down from JHB for a wedding and other festivities for the weekend. We will certainly book again when in KZN. ❤️

Was advertised with 2 bathrooms but was actually one full bathroom (shower and a tub) and one with a loo and washbasin only.

The host Carla was wonderful. She allowed us to leave our luggage with her and moved it into the guest house once it had been vacated and cleaned. Carla called me immediately after the cottage was ready. There was fresh milk in the fridge, cereal, coffee, tea and sugar available.

The cottage itself is aesthetically pleasing; however, the host demonstrates a high level of unprofessionalism.

The experience was highly disappointing due to the unprofessional and unethical conduct of the host. While we understand that double bookings can occur and may not always be the host’s fault, the way the situation was handled was unacceptable. The host displayed a dismissive “I don’t care” attitude, and we were not informed by either the host of Fever Tree or Booking.com that our reservation had been cancelled on the very day we were meant to check in. The customer service we received was also extremely poor. As a frequent user of Booking.com, we expected better assistance. Czarina initially assured us that she would help secure alternative accommodation and cover half the cost due to the inconvenience. However, after asking us to wait while she contacted another property owner, we waited for over an hour with no update. When we called back, she behaved as if she did not recognize our case. After we explained our situation again, the call was abruptly ended and our further calls were ignored. We ultimately requested a refund and were told to wait 7–12 days for processing, after which we had to make alternative arrangements through Airbnb. Overall, the situation demonstrated poor communication, lack of empathy, and inadequate customer service. This experience has been extremely disappointing.We never book here again

We enjoyed the personal touches offered by Carla. On arrival, there was complimentary milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bottled water, cereals, rusks and chocolate. The dogs on the property did not disturb us at all. There were plenty of coat hangers, mirrors, pillows and blankets. The air conditioner had a heating facility which was much appreciated as the weather was cold.

We actually cannot fault anything. We did not watch television but we know the set worked.

Beautiful view. Accommodation is lovely, has everything you need, clean and comfortable. Will definitely book again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fever Tree Cottage. Such a beautiful location. Carla was an amazing host. She was there to welcome us and was always responsive to messages.

Everything was perfect.

Carla was a really good Host. Pre-Arrival notification and directions sent through and there to meet us on arrival. Accommodation equipped with all the little extras - Coffee Station (pods/milk/rusks/cereals etc.). Accommodation Clean, comfy beds and really great View.
