Le balcon sans séparation avec les autres chambres. La literie médiocre et très branlant. Les chambres sont bruyantes et on entend bcp le bruit de la ventilation et du distributeur à boissons dans le couloir. Le petit-déjeuner n’est pas tres fourni.

The grounds were lovely. The room was well decorated. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were very friendly.

The hotel is attractive, set in the countryside and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We loved the beautiful balcony and lovely view. It was very peaceful and quiet. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful with anything you needed. The pool was out of order at the time but it's well positioned, overlooking the countryside and a hot tub is just next to it.

The beds seemed rather cheap and not very stable. If someone else moved next to you, you were bounced up and down! The breakfast was just OK, not very high quality.

Place has something mystical. Very close to the city and some excellent golf courses. We had twice dinner at the place. Great food and good kitchen, especially the burger and salads. Breakfast could use more variety but is enough. New management friendly and capable. We had to cut one night because of the wildfires coming up in the valley. No discussion giving us the additional night already paid back. Worth a stay.

Room is pretty outdated and needs upgrading, new management took over and works on those. Place is very well situated, close to many attractions. Worth a trip. Coffee machine and bathroom in particular necessary to upgrade

Le petit déjeuner qui n’était pas au même endroit d’un jour à l’autre. À notre arrivée, on nous a donné une chambre pour deux personnes alors que nous avions réservé une chambre pour trois personnes et que le réceptionniste nous a dit qu’il n’avait plus la chambre qu’on avait réservé.

Diese schöne Hotelanlage liegt in ruhiger Umgebung 20 Kilometer von Kamloops entfernt, direkt am Fluss. Wir hatten ein sehr geräumiges, sauberes Zimmer mit Balkon und Flussblick. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut. Da haben wir in anderen Hotels auf unserer Reise teilweise viel weniger für unser Geld bekommen.

Traffic noise on river side

It was right next to a golf course, and i had meant to play. however, we ran into forest fire the exact time we arrived and the air quality reached dangerous levels. we had booked for 2 nights but the hotel graciously allowed us to leave after one night without charging for the second night. much appreciate the flexibility. The rooms were super cute and i would really want to be back.

Breakfast is kind of slim. i went at 8:30am and took the last muffin (yummy muffin), there wasn't anything left for breakfast.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at this venue. The hotel felt a little older but the room was lovely. It was very clean and had everything that we needed. The grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the free bikes at the entrance to allow for some further exploring. While we enjoyed this hotel, I would caution that it was quite a bit outside of Kamloops. It didn't help that the Sat Nav took us off the main road and down some dirt tracks to get there.

This hotel was lovely, the service was great and very accommodating. The staff genuinely went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. The rooms were very clean and fresh, the aircon didn’t turn off via the switch but we just unplugged it at source when it got too cold. The food was also really lovely, we had drinks and watched the sunset go down on the patio. It’s situated right next a golf course. We came here to pass by from whistler to jasper but had a really pleasant stay. It’s true that some of the hotel is a bit outdated but it seems like they have epic renovation plans in the future, very exciting for future guests. We recommend asking about the walk up the mountain behind the inn and strolls along the river. 🐢

Chairs on balcony way too small and uncomfortable. The hallways and lobby are quite dated, need a refresh.

Terrible place. Has all in the pictures, but not in the room ( supposed to be a suit) that we stayed . Furnitures tired, carpet dirty, bed - well the worst night sleep. First so narrow gap from both walls , that may be a child can go through. The quality of the bed , pillows and blanket, could be better. There is a window stuck Aircon, working like a tractor over your head in the bed, and no window can be opened for fresh air. Bathroom has hardly no light, shower door does not slide properly. Very noisy from some machines or vents, not clear. View, non existing. I would advise not to stay here unless it is necessary.

The location indicates it is in Kamloops, BC, but it is about 26 kilometers and 23 minute drive from Kamloops. Also this dramatically restricted where we could eat.

I had the chance to stay one night at this place. Beautiful hotel, near the river. A young team and manager always looking for their guests, cosy rooms. A place to be!

Beautiful views over the Thompson River. Clean. Excellent evening meal.

A bit disorganized initially with bar and breakfast set-up but came through in the end.

We had dinner and had a wonderful visit with the owners and staff members. Made us feel like part of the family!

Notre chambre était glaciale malgré le fait que nous avions demandé de ne pas mettre l’air conditionné, le personnel ne lit pas ses messages apparement. Bref une super grosse déception

The room was very comfortable and clean. Although the hotel is located quite far from the city, it is surrounded by a beautiful rural area with lovely views. Breakfast was not included, but the staff kindly offered muffins and coffee, which was very helpful for our group, especially with the kids.

One unexpected feature was that the balcony was shared between several rooms. This felt a little unusual and seemed to surprise guests from the other rooms as well.

We had a great stay here, our favourite part was the staff. Alina and Dysney were super friendly and helpful.

To be fair, the hotel manager recognised our experience was so bad he volunteered a 50% DISCOUNT! However still not worth the money. For a start, although it says Kamloops, it's a 25 minute drive out of town. After a long day travelling, then to be told there were no longer any catering staff, so no dinner or breakfast, was disappointing. What's even worse the receptionist directed us to a restaurant a 10 minute drive away which we discovered only on arrival was only a breakfast and lunch venue!!! The whole place felt tired and understaffed, and the advertised pool was shut. nb The description on the website says "Located in Kamloops, South Thompson Inn & Conference Centre is on the waterfront, a 3-minute drive from Rivershore Golf Links and 8 minutes from British Columbia Wildlife Park. This golf hotel is 18.1 mi (29.1 km) from Thompson Rivers University and 6.3 mi (10.1 km) from Eaglepoint Golf Resort." This very carefully implies it's on the waterfront in Kamloops - it's 25km away!!!

Personal war nicht gerade fähig. Zusätzlich wurde meine Kreditkarte belastet obwohl die Buchung schon bei booking.com bezahlt wurde. Erst nach mehreren Mails, bekam ich nach fast zwei Wochen mein Geld zurück.

The staff - all excellent - very friendly & accommodating- the owner certainly did a great job hiring good people - Oscar gets 5 stars. We have stayed many times since the Inn was new and we always feel at home. The location and the scenery of both the river & mountain sides are lovely. As the Inn is a few km's into the countryside we always feel secure - us & our vehicle.

Zimmer waren sauber und funktionell. Hatte alles, was man braucht. Es gibt Zimmer, die zur Highway-Seite hin liegen, die sind natürlich etwas lauter. Aber nachts ist da eh nicht viel Verkehr. Es gibt ein Hotel-Restaurant, in welchem wir allerdings nicht gegessen hatten.

I like these old style rooms making me think of Edwardian England

I appreciated that restaurant was open for dinner at this time of year but it wasnt for breakfast and their free breakfast offering is really meagre and unhealthy

The inn overbooked themselves and cancelled our confirmed reservation 20 minutes before our arrival leaving us with no place to stay on a very busy booked up Saturday night in Kamloops. They only notified us by email, couldn’t even be bothered to call us so we did not know the room was cancelled until we were at the front desk. They had no suggestions for other places to stay and left us to figure it out after a long day of travel to Kamloops.

It would have been quiet but for the generator outside the window

We aren’t people who complain but this wasn’t good. Room wasn’t ready despite arriving after check in time. ‘Up grade’ replacement room didn’t have a view of the river, air con was so loud and inefficient we had to unplug it. No kettle although supposedly a kitchenette in the room. Loud generator noise outside the window all night meant we hardly slept, plus hot as we had to turn off the air con. WiFi constantly dropping out and noone in reception to checkout- we had to hunt someone down.

Kitchen staff left work and the place is without cooks. Very limited foods. No mini fridge nor microwave in the rooms either.

Lack of a real restaurant was disappointing. Breakfast at the grab and go consisted of granola bars or chocolate chip muffins! Not particularly inviting or nutritious.

Old but beautifully preserved building. Friendly staff. Gorgeous position on the river. Great food. Large rooms and wide balconies which afford a wonderful view of the mountains.. it has a pool and spa but they didn’t seem to be open. Nice seating available to enjoy the river views. Definitely recommend

We visited this hotel twice before. It is getting old and tired and needs some repairs and updating. The staff try hard but they are limited as to what they have to work with. I hope the new owner has the capability to turn this around.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön auf einem Ranch-artigen Gelände. Die Terrassen der Zimmer haben einen sehr schönen Blick auf den Fluss.

Man hört die am gegenüberliegenden Flussufer vorbeifahrenden, langen Züge.

The location was not what I expected, too far from city centre, the entry was gloomy, carpet frayed, not clean! I expected to be able to sleep 1 night with my payment, but was told we booked 2 nights! I was not given the option (misunderstanding/communication?) to use my 1 night paid accommodation, I also asked if they had another affiliated hotel with their chain! Not accommodating!

Gute zentrale Lage außerhalb von Kamloops. Es war sehr ruhig dort.

Es gab keinen Aufzug (schlecht wenn man mit viel Gepäck auf der Durchreise ist) und das Zimmer war sehr warm bei der Ankunft. Liess sich aber schnell mit der A/C regulieren.

The location is very pretty along the river. The place has an old fashioned ranch feel to it and the decor plays on that. Easy to park and the restaurant is acceptable.

It is nice to be out of the way but it also means it is a long drive to downtown. A good getaway or (for me) a stop over. But not great if you want to be in and out of Kamloops

We've stayed here twice and loved it both times. Great for a peaceful overnight stop!! Would recommend having a drink at the nearby golf course too and watching the trains.

Great hotel in a most beautiful location on the river. Our room was really big with two queen beds, one each! And very comfortable even with the four square pillows. Breakfast is free complimentary snacks and coffee and there is a small restaurant available for an evening meal. There is a balcony to each room but it is not completely private, it’s shared with the room next door. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone on a road trip through the Rockies.

My husband and I were traveling with a Globus group via train/bus from Toronto to Vancouver for 2-1/2 weeks. This included an overnight stay at this facility. The Inn sits in a beautiful location, is extremely clean and a well-kept facility and rooms. The staff are very accommodating and the manager came out to the bus to greet the group and was gracious enough to offer us a glass of wine upon arrival. The meals were served buffet style and all the food was cold or hot as it should be. We would love to return and explore the area further. If we do return, I know we will stay here again! Unfortunately, we didn't have an opportunity to take any photos to share.

What an amazing hidden gem. Such a great old charm to every inch of the property. Takes me back to some family trips I went on when I was younger. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great hideaway.

What a lovely night we had here. Just what we needed after the drive from Whistler. Lovely quiet room overlooking the golf course with a Mountain View. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant with a lovely local red wine. Very friendly staff.

The air conditioner in the room was loud and it came on and off every 20 minutes there was no control to turn it off. It kept me awake most of the night.

A hidden gem for sure. You are captured by the charm as soon as you drive down the white fenced lane with horses on either side. The key to your room is an actual metal key no key card. The views of the mountains and river are spectacular. The Inn offers dining a very cozy lounge as well as complimentary coffee and snacks in the morning, pedal bikes and maps for hiking/ biking. It has a pool, hot tub a little gift shop and a golf course next door. I found the staff and new owners to be very hospitable and friendly. The Inn is a short distance to the city center but well worth the drive for the value and overall experience

Excellent dinner both nights Service was wonderful. Front desk was terrific, property was beautiful. Very enjoyable Stayed last year 1 night main floor and the room was incredable. .

Carpet was quite dirty and the throw on the end of the bed was really dirty. i took it down to the desk and the clerk took a picture. Also the bathroom was lacking extra towels etc. knowing there was no housekeeping the following day
