10/10 – An absolutely wonderful stay at Le Scanta Marayoor! Our experience at Le Scanta Marayoor was exceptional from start to finish. The host Mr. Ajosh went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcomed and comfortable, making it feel less like a hotel stay and more like being hosted by family. The hospitality was outstanding — warm, friendly, and thoughtful in every aspect. The rooms and surroundings were very clean and well maintained, and the hygiene standards were excellent throughout our stay. The view from the property was beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. One of the highlights was the delicious food prepared by the host. The meals were fresh, homely, and made with care, adding a very personal touch to the experience. What made the stay even more special was the host taking the time to guide us around, helping us with nearby attractions, and giving us useful suggestions for places to visit. His guidance and support truly enhanced our trip. Overall, it was an excellent stay in every way — comfort, hospitality, food, atmosphere, and care. We left with great memories and a feeling of being genuinely welcomed. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Marayoor!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay. The environment is peaceful, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable for both families and professionals looking for a refreshing getaway. A special mention to the owner, Mr.Ajosh Fransis who is not only a professional hotelier and talented chef, but also an incredibly humble and welcoming host. His hospitality was truly outstanding and made us feel completely at home throughout our stay. The food he prepared was exceptional — delicious, fresh, and made with great care. Overall, this place offers the perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, scenic beauty, and amazing food. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable vacation experience. Looking forward to visiting again!

Mr Ajosh, of La Sancta homestay in Marayoor is the perfect host a guest can hope for in a homestay. Right from welcoming us and making us comfortable from the moment we entered the property to providing us all the amenities as was promised. He even accompanied to a little walk upto a view point where ancient burial site dating back nearly 1200 years are found. He even provided us a jeep with a good experienced driver for our sight seeing around Kanthaloor and Marayoor. The other highlight of the stay had been the homely food and snacks. Breakfast was simply marvellous and the coffee and snacks along with the refreshment drinks kept us wanting for more. The view of the mountains from our balcony is a sight to behold. Purely heavenly.

Location very beautiful

Le sancta was a truly perfect accomadation! Our room was spacious with a big comfortable bed and very clean. It had a balcony with a stunning view of the mountains too. It's very peaceful and we liked that it wasn't right in a town. Ajosh was a great host, always doing the most to make us as comfortable and happy as possible. He helped us with excursions to chinnar wildlife sanctuary, would always reply fast to any messages and would book after is with welcome drinks and snacks too. A very kind and hardworking man and anyone would be very lucky to stay at his property!

An immaculate and comfortable homestay with exceptional food. Ajosh is an excellent host who is very friendly, thoughtful and always on hand to help, without being intrusive. The food is outstanding and some of the best I have had in Kerala. The rooms are very high spec for a homestay, spotlessly clean and the view from the balcony is spectacular.

An amazing stay The owner truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was both comfortable and memorable. We were a group of four from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds, yet every one of us felt genuinely welcomed and completely satisfied with the warm hospitality. We were greeted with a delicious cup of spice tea as a welcome drink, which instantly made us feel at home — it was so good that we happily asked for refills! The food throughout our stay was exceptional. Considering that the host, Ajosh, is a chef himself, it’s no surprise that every meal was beautifully prepared and carried a wonderful homemade touch. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Although we experienced a minor issue with the water heating initially, Ajosh resolved it promptly and efficiently. What truly stood out was his dedication during the national strike in India, when most commercial shops and services were closed. Despite the challenges, Ajosh went out of his way to ensure all our needs were taken care of, making sure our stay remained smooth and enjoyable. And of course, we can’t forget the lovely guard dog! He was well-trained, friendly, and a joy to spend time with. Overall, this homestay is absolutely worth recommending. We would gladly return in the future — especially for a longer stay and to explore the hikes to Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary.

Excellent stay in a very comfortable and spotlessly clean room which was very high spec for a homestay. The area is lovely and green and easy walkable distance to the Dolmens viewpoint. Ajosh, the host, is extremely attentive and makes a huge effort to make sure his guests have everything they need. His help was invaluable getting access to Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary with great birding guides in the early morning. He also provides an impressive and tasty spread for breakfast!

This place is far above all what we have seen before. The rooms are fantastic, so does the view from our terrace. The food is the finest indian food we came accross, We felt exceptionally welcomed.

I recently spent a day at this wonderful homestay, and I can honestly say it was a delightful experience. The location is very convenient, just off the main road, making it easily accessible. The stay is located upstairs, and the rooms are spacious with attached balconies. The room I stayed in had a large balcony with a beautiful view of the Kanthallor mountains. What truly made this stay special, though, was the owner’s attitude and the service he provided. Ajosh chettan is a warm and helpful person who made us feel right at home. His commitment to ensuring we had a great time was evident throughout our stay. Even though we hadn’t planned much sightseeing, he took the time to guide us to nearby attractions, helping us explore the best of the area. If you're planning a trip to Kanthallor or Marayur, he’s definitely the best person to help you with recommendations and travel tips. Due to our tight schedule, we only got to try the breakfast, but it was absolutely delicious. The buffet he arranged was homely, with top-notch taste that truly added to the experience. I highly recommend this homestay for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay near Marayur and Kanthallor. The room and amenities were near and spacious and had a premium feel, much beyond what we would expect from a homestay. The view from the balcony was too good than any camera can capture. At night, the view was even more alluring as the lights from the tiny homes, dotted the mountain and valley. What made our stay special was the hospitality and friendliness of the owner and his family. In just a single day, we felt like we found an extended family at Marayoor. The property is located off the Marayoor Kanthaloor road with quick access Kanthaloor and Marayoor. Morning breakfast was a feast. Parking was also easy inside the gated compound with the Owner and family staying in the ground floor, felt very safe for family.

Le sancta is located very close to Marayoor. Its manager, Ajosh, was just amazing host. We really felt like home there. He welcomed us in the best way imaginable, took us to the rooftop to watch the sunset, took us to the woods nearby to see the long-horned deers which was amaxing! The rooms are at the second floor of his home, in the middle of sugarcane farm. Each room has a balcony with a view you wanna sit and watch the whole day. Pitty we didn’t have enough time to go hiking around. We ate the best food we had have in Kerala! Keralan breakfast and dinner… very nice colorful meals. The rooms are newly made and super duper clean and cozy. He also introduced us to his other guests and they took us to Chinnar reserve to watch animals there. All in all it was an excellent experience which we will cherish whenever we think of our India trip. Namaste.

Very pleasant stay. Rooms are fresh and excelently designed, and the host - very, very attentive. (For those in need for a local guidance, just ask him!) We had a very rich breakfast: several Kerala cuisines, fresh fruits, omlet and more.

Breakfast was superb and very tasty we are like so much and very thankful to Mr Ajosh. He was very humble down to earth person and very talkative .All the Brakfast items idly dosa putt chuttney omlette every thing is very tasty and exceptional.It is a perfect place for families my wife and son really enjoyed the accommodation. Out side balcony view was awesome really enjoyed.

Ajosh was so friendly. He guided us from the morning to reach the homestay. Started with Welcome drink (nannari). Rooms are with excellent balcony views, rooms are perfect - 100% cleaned and fresh. Dinner and Breakfast are so go mix of continental and Kerala foods. He arranged off-road safari jeep as well. We team of 8 people enjoyed the stay :=)

We had a wonderful stay at Le Sancta Homestay, Marayoor. The room was spacious with a balcony offering a great view of the hills in the cool and serene atmosphere which we truly enjoyed. The dining space, bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally clean, adding to our comfort. The peaceful surroundings made our stay incredibly calm and relaxing, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the beauty of Marayoor. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of homely dishes, all prepared with care. The host , Ajosh was very kind, friendly, and truly cared for us. We have never had such an experience before , it was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Marayoor. Thank you Ajosh for making our stay memorable.

It was an awesome experience...went with my family and the host was too humble and soft...the place was neat, clean and safe..the food was top notch ( lunch, dinner and breakfast) and they prepare in home style whatever items we requested. Easy access from marayoor. They also made arrangements for nearby site seeing at best affordable cost. I Would visit for sure in future trips as well.. Calm and quiet place where you want to spend quality time.
