Four Lakes Retreat

地理位置绝佳，离超市很近，最棒的是院子里可以看到满天繁星和银河。房屋很大且宽敞，有三间卧室，还有一间超大的洗衣房兼活动室，里面有乒乓球台，我丈夫和女儿玩儿得很开心。洗手间的淋浴设施很棒。空调很暖。

不过，我们在卧室的床单上发现了头发、污渍甚至是米粒，并立即向房东反映了这个问题。据房东解释，这是洗衣房洗涤和烘干过程中产生的静电所导致的。虽说如此，这一点仍让人遗憾。

We had a wonderful stay at Four Lakes Retreat. It was warm and cosy, with both a heat pump and wood burner keeping us comfortable throughout our winter stay. The electric blankets were a great touch, and the beds were spacious and very comfortable. We also enjoyed making use of the table tennis table and exploring the beautiful surroundings. Communication from the hosts was excellent from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

there was not much that i did not like.

Modern nice looking home. Clean and comfortable. Able to use the washing machine in the otherwise non-guest use garage. Management company was very quick to respond with answers.

Felt like there were a lot of regulations in the "book". What to put where for garbage and such, sleep between the sheets, couldn't leave stuff in the dishwasher for cleaners to put away (so couldn't use it on morning of departure). Felt a bit nervous that we would mess something up and get charged. No cooking oil (but did supply some soap, some toilet paper, and salt and pepper.....but ran out of salt). No shampoo or conditioner (was specified in the description). Instructions for using stovetop were insufficient to figure out how to use it if a guest turned it off at the switch. No dryer.

숙소가 너무 깨끗하고 시설도 너무 좋았습니다. 아이들이 특히 좋아했고 여행을 많이 다녔지만 손에 꼽을만한 곳이네요!!

Good infrastructure, big room space, modern design.

It will be more enjoyable if we are provided with more living essentials, such as tissues, shampoo, body wash, rubbish bags and toilet paper rolls.

- ruhige Lage - gute Ausstattung & viel Platz - bequeme Betten (aber relativ hart)

- die Küchenmesser waren leider stumpf - die Wärmepumpe heizt nur den Wohnbereich, im hinteren Teil des Hauses mit den Schlafzimmern war es daher immer kalt. Nur in den Bädern gab es nochmal die Möglichkeit mit kleinen Lüftern zusätzlich zu heizen. Uns hat das nicht groß gestört, weil wir es beim Schlafen sowieso eher kühl mögen

Location & size of the house.

Generally clean but some areas not cleaned properly. Notices in house about rules made it feel unwelcoming.

We really loved the Four Lakes house. It’s spacious, new and is in an excellent location to hike in the Mt. Cook area, or fly fish many rivers and the canal. The kitchen is full on - a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and clothes washer. There is no dryer, but a great outdoor clothesline and an indoor rack and line as well. This house is amazing!

Had to figure out recycling, but that was easy.

The property was spacious and located in a beautiful part of the city, overlooking the mountains. It was well maintained and equipped with all the amenities needed for a wonderful and comfortable vacation.

The property was clean, well-organized, and perfect for our stay. However, one of the pan’s base was corroded so we couldn’t really use it. It would be great if some basic essentials like salt, pepper, cooking oil, and a few toiletries were provided, especially since there’s a full kitchen. Small touches like these would make the stay even more comfortable and stress-free.

The house is beautiful and spacious, with super comfy beds, a great shower, location, and an easy check-in.

The only little thing we didn't like that much was the endless house rules — a whole book plus 20+ notes posted everywhere, even in the bathroom. It felt a bit excessive.

It was my first time going to New Zealand, so when I arrived, I was so happy to see the place 🤩😍😍 It was clean clean, and because it was my first time also in winter time with snow, the heater pad on the bed was a blessing 🙏🏼🥰 Maybe, maybe will come again🥳

Nice house with all needed amenities. Easy check in and out. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were small but nice. Kitchen and living area were spacious and well appointed. Enjoyed our stay.
