Niets
It was one of the most beautiful stops we made. They accepted us late, took care of us, we had the best couscous we ever ate. The rooms were comfy, warm shower. Breakfast absolutely delicious. We got to know the whole family, they showed us how they live, the art of carpets and made is feel at home. I just really hope I could come back.

Welcoming. Peaceful. Clean. Good food.

On a apprécié l ambiance familiale
Hosts were very welcoming and polite, 10/10. We were offered tea upon arriving. Home made Tajine for dinner also was offered (ended up being 250dh for 2 pers). Restaurant price, huh? Breakfast was nice with home made bread, pancakes and omelette etc.
Internet connection was poor.
Very clean and thoughtful Welcoming family Outstanding meals
We had an awesome stay! The host was lovely and spoke good French! The food was wonderful and she made us dinner and breakfast for free. She showed us the family loom and gave me a lesson. The family also farm their own saffron at certain times of year. The shower had no hot water but they let us use the family shower as an alternative so no complaints. Room was heated with a modern, quiet aircon unit and we had plenty of blankets. We had a wonderful stay!
Nothing
The host was very welcoming, and invited us in with a big smile. The room was warm and comfortable. We had dinner which was tasty, and also the breakfast had all the tasty delicacies of the area. The perfect stop on the way to the dessert.
Nothing to note - as expected
We liked the quiet village situation which was not too remote so taxis often passed nearby. We loved exploring on foot in the village and the interesting countryside. We were pleased to meet the host's extended family and were fortunately there during the harvest time for saffron. Being taken to see the harvesting was a unique pleasure.
We had difficulty adjusting the shower temperature but it worked!
Everything. You have your own privacy but still share simple moments with local people. We had a warm welcoming, we had carpet making demonstrations, a very good breakfast and our only regret was not to stay more. Very quiet area and very lovely family. 100% recommended.
We wish we could have stay longer. We were not hungry by the evening and we would have love to try the meals with the family.
Super nette Familie, lecker Essen, bequemes Bett - alles perfekt!
Famiglia accogliente, gentilissima, buona cucina, ottimo prezzo, bagno dotato di ottima doccia. Sosta perfetta durante il mio giro in moto.
Super accommodating family
Gracious hosts! Clean facilities. Quiet. Good breakfast!
We stayed at Dar Dyafa on our way from Merzouga to Agadir. The family who runs it was very friendly and made us feel welcome in their home. Our room was nice and comfortable, and staying with a local family made our Morocco trip feel more real and special. They even showed us their carpet workshop and gave us a little tour explaining the traditional weaving techniques. The best part was the dinner they cooked for us - it was real Moroccan home cooking.
The host is really amazing, the food was excelent!
My husband and I had another wonderful time at the apartment. This apartment is equipped with kitchen essentials, but after a long day of travel, it was very nice to have a delicious meal prepared by the host. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. The main bathroom is large and nice and there is even a second bathroom in the apartment. I have stayed in many apartments in Marrakesh and this is my favorite. The location is perfect and peaceful, and the hosts are very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this apartment!
Food was amazing!
The large entrance room is a little daunting and the kitchen belongs to the host and is not in the apartment
Kind people willing to help, we where on the road and finding this was a real hidden gem :) amazing breakfast and we left with a couple of carpets we highly recommend:)
Family hosts were very kind.
We travelled to Taznakht in search of Berber carpets and at Dar Dyafa we couldn't have found a better place to stay. The host family did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable & memorable. The accommodation was comfortable & the food was deliciously prepared according to our requests. The hosts also manage a local cooperative to help local women weavers to market their carpets. There was a wide choice of carpet styles to choose from, and all to the high standard of quality you would expect from being hand-made. The location is stunning & peaceful - a wonderful place to relax. In very close walking distance from the house are the ruins of the Kasbah which makes for interesting exploration. An amazing experience. Highly recommended.
The family that hosted us is amazing! They made us feel very welcome. We were received by Hamid, the son-in-law, who speaks English and French, who helped us to get installed. The women then invited us into their kitchen for tea and delicious snacks. After that we met Amina in her carpet workshop, where we saw her art and could try it ourselves. In the evening we ate a yummy couscous in the family room. A very warm experience!
No downsides. As in many places in Morocco, the toilet is french, which we had gotten used to by then.
Amazing place to experience traditional Moroccan culture and cuisine. We ate the best tagine of the all trip, and the price is great for what you get. You get to know the family and they are so wonderful. Shukran!
We had a great though unexpected time in taznakhte. Hamid and his family were very welcoming from the start. They put the time to show us the place around and explain how the people in that part of Morocco make a living. We also had opportunity to try the food they cooked. It was delicious.
