Gogol Beach Resort !! Beach 1 Minute !!

Almost everything was average.

It’s not a beach resort since the beach is 800m away from the property. The staff is untrained and slow. The bath rooms almost don’t have a shower area. All beverages are served in plastic glasses which is quite tasteless.

Open drink with children / in front of children must be restricted. Otherwise all are ok

Front Desk Staff and Manager's behaviour

The bathroom was in a mess as the hotel has tilted in one side leading to water accumulation. Water taps leaking. Lights in the room out of order. Mattress quality very bad. The chef doesn't know recipe of food and thus food A doesn't taste as it should be. In my opinion, the food is over-priced. The cleanliness is not good.

It’s exactly how it looks on the pics - the properly is well maintained, rooms are in excellent condition. Breakfast spread is also excellent in terms of diversity and quality. Staff was friendly

It’s 200 meters from the beach , it’s definitely not 1 min as there is no back door access and we are human beings and can’t fly like a bird to reach the beach in 1 min. Unfortunately the beach nearby is also not clean

View from room is bad. Specifically asked for sea view room because my mother was unable to walk to the beach. The balcony does not have a proper view of the ocean at all, and obstructed by a slum right in front.

Break fast on the second day was good. On the first day there was not much option.

Rs800 was charged for Driver's accommodation in a dormitory which is quite on the high side. At Digha , a single room accommodation was provided to my Driver for Rs700 per night. The food also was very costly. There was no option for thali meal other than a la carte which is not suitable for two senior citizens like us. Also for Driver alone one such meal proved to be quite costly.

Every thing was right except the price was bit higher side , location was good , 2 min walking from sea beach although sea was not visible . Food taste and quality was good but bit higher priced . Pet friendly but they charge Rs.500 per day for pet . Behaviour of all the staffs are very good and responds quickly . Room are equipped with AC , Freezer, tea/coffee maker, TV , private bathroom with bath tub. Swimming pool is there and well maintained and also children play area l

Exceptionally good staff behaviour & always attending guest requirements, we felt very comfortable with the stay & amazing food , restaurant staff & house keeping were very helpful & polite.

It’s not sea view property..backside window view is very bad you can see little sea view but very far ..when you open balcony 1st you can see so much garbage places then so many roofs.view is bad

Not valuable for money

Liked swimming pool, but their hours of operations are rigid for guests. They close it from around 3pm to 6:30pm, the time you want to relax in pool. They did help me with paracetamol for my headache. Food was nice and good options were available.beach is just 5min walk away.

I booked a room with bathtub and I was given a room without one. I didn't protest their offer as I had headache upon arrival.

Rooms smell musty , "pool" is tiny in the parking lot in front of the reception , no privacy . Front desk and booking agent will nickel and dime you on everything. Access road and surrounding area is very poorly maintained , trash everywhere. We checked out a day early

Manager behaviour. I went for my pre-wedding shoot. For which i have booked a king size room and asked for 3 person accommodation. Myself , fiance and her sister and paid extra for the third person. Earlier while booking they have agreed on all the terms of mine . But after reaching everything has changed. The manager was shouting like hell , that this cannot happen. 3 people cannot accommodate. So avoiding everything i asked for the cancellation. They denied returning my money. After continuous discussion they have that i can stay all together. Very bad experience. I will never suggest such a pathetic hotel to anyone.

Exceptional staff behavior, value for money, great room and the amenities provided are great,I have stayed previously in different resorts all boast having water heater, hair dryer and etc, while Gogol actually provided all these amenities along with green tea sachets and coffee sachets so u can have an quick tea or coffee if you like. The restaurant they have is top notch, the food, mama mia, it's been a long time that I have craved a restaurants food and their restaurant have made me crave the great food. Recommend for people coming to mandarmani, value for money with great hospitality and very close to the beach, walking distance is less than 100 metres

There were no securities at the gate. We had to open the gate and park the car. Food is also pale and cold. They've charged 5800 around per day but the room was not at all worthy. We have asked for sea view they provided us the room from where I could barely see the sea. Behaviour of the kitchen staff is also not good. Overall bad experience. Will never visit again

1. Location. 2. Breakfast/Dinner - awesome 3. Service regarding providing early breakfast as we planned to leave early in the morning. They prepared Sandwiches for us. Hats off to receptionist who accepted our request and cook, who made such a delicious sandwiches. 4. Check-in cleanliness.

1. Room refrigerator was dirty and had foul smell. Not working. 2. 2nd day room service. I had to call multiple times to get the room service and it was done half. 3. Room Service-I will say, I had mixed experience. Some time they delivered the drinking water immediately(40%) and some time(60%) I had to wait quite long time. 4. I like almost all. But the price are little bid high as per the position and location. It should be within 2500.

I didn't like the timing, means pool should be opened some extra time. It should be opened all the day to 10 .30 pm night.
