Very welcoming staff, nice people and a wonderful view from the rooftop terrace!

Incredible hosts, the friendliest most helpful guys ever. Wanted to extend but was fully booked sadly.

Leider sind wir nicht wie gebucht während 8 Nächten geblieben. Für grosse Menschen ungeeignet, muss sich überall bücken. Auch wenn man private Room mit Bad gebucht hat kriegt man ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit spärlicher Einrichtung sowie eine Toilette auf der anderen Seite des Flures, in welchem man sich kaum auf die Toilette setzen konnte oder die Türe schliessen konnte, da das Bad so klein war. Dusche war auf einem anderen Stock. Fühlten uns so semi wohl in der Umgebung, aber der Weg zum Strand war kurz. Frühstück war süss organisiert in kleinem Rahmen auf der Dachterasse des Gebäudes. Das Personal super nett. Wir haben uns dann trotzdem für einen Unterkunftswechsel entschieden, da wir uns einfach auch erholen wollten. Gesamthaft für den Preis eine sichere Unterkunft, jedoch mit deutlich weniger Comfort als auf den Bildern.

As usual everytime i go to taghazout i had to choose this one, the staffs are nice, the location is good, the people who comes by are also nice and friendly and we had couscous this time 😍

Le personnel est gentil et aidant. Il y a des rideaux aux lits et des casiers qui ferment avec un cadenas.

L’auberge est assez bruyante, la salle de bain est difficile à garder propre (douche dans le passage des toilettes).

The hostel exceeded my expectations. The location was great, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day.

The staff was nice and welcoming, and the place is in a good location.

The hostel was not clean, the bathrooms and showers were inconveniently located on another floor, and the room door was constantly stuck despite us reporting it. We also found garbage bins directly in front of the outside door.

The staff were very kind and helpful during my stay rachid, Lahsen and madame fouzia are the best one of the best rooftops i have ever sat seen very calm with really good vibes with the people and everything was clean (beds.toilets.food…) see u soon i will be back 🙏

Un très bon petit-déjeuner, et le jeune homme qui nous a accueillis était vraiment adorable. ❤️

Malheureusement, notre expérience n’a pas été agréable. L’endroit était sale et trop petit, et il n’y avait pas de salle de bain comme indiqué dans l’annonce. Il y avait également beaucoup de bruit. La terrasse mise à notre disposition était très remplie et pas du tout adaptée pour venir avec votre famille ou votre épouse. Nous sommes vraiment déçus, car cela ne correspondait pas du tout à ce qui était présenté dans l’annonce

Le bruit qui était insupportable pour dormir, et la chambre privée mais sans un dortoir mixte donc pas vraiment privée sauf que cela n’a jamais était mentionné, les volets qui ne marchaient pas et personne n’est venu les réparer sauf quand on a décidé de partir.

Bien situé et couscous partagé le vendredi soir.

The best thing about Azoul Hostel is, without a doubt, the view over Taghazout and the sea. At morning or in the evening, doesn‘t matter, always amazing. You get to know people all around the world who want to live the ‚surf style‘ and that‘s the most important part for me. The staff was always friendly, helpful and honest. The breakfast and the free couscous at friday night are definetly a reason to book this hostel. And for the price that was absolutely fair.

The only negative aspect was that the kitchen was bit small and tight, meaning it was almost impossible for two people to cook at the same time. But that situation never appeared, so it didn‘t matter at all and the kitchen has everything you need to cook by yourself.

Hostel propre et bien situé, avec une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale. Le personnel est adorable, disponible et très accueillant.

I like how the staff were very welcoming and kind also the location of the hostel is near to the main street and to Taghazout Beach

the room was dark all the day nobody opens the windows for ventilation also it wasn't clean especially bathroom, and lockers didn't have a personal key I had to buy a lock which i found broken next day and fortunately none of my stuff was touched.

De hosts waren echt heel erg aardig, elke ochtend stond er ook een heerlijk ontbijt klaar. En dit kon je dan in een gezamenlijke ruimte eten, hierdoor leerde je heel veel nieuwe mensen kennen wat erg leuk was! Ook als je vragen had of nog tips wou over de omg evening hielpen ze je graag. Ook vanuit het hostel konden er trips georganiseerd worden of ook surf lessen. Liefste mensen die ik ooit hebt ontmoet.

The room was not that good, it didn’t look the same than on the photos, no natural light at all.

أحببت كثيرا استقبال الحسن وهو شخص مؤدب للغاية، وكذلك كل الموظفين بالنزل. أنصح كثيرا بتجربة هذا النزل.

I had a wonderful stay at Azoul Hostel! Lahcen was such a kind, welcoming, and helpful host. He made sure we felt comfortable and was always there to help whenever we needed anything. And a special mention to Fouzia, who cooks the best food in Taghazout! Everything was delicious and made the stay even more enjoyable. 😋❤️ The atmosphere at Azoul is really friendly and relaxing. I had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Taghazout. I’d happily come back again! 🌊🏄‍♂️

Super nette Leute und tolles Frühstück! Die Dachtterasse war ein Highlight und man kommt super leicht mit den anderen Gästen ins Gespräch! Nicht weit zum Strand und allen Läden/Restaurants!

Badezimmer könnte sauberer sein und es war sehr laut, allerdings konnte man bei dem dafür sehr günstigen Preis sehr gut damit leben.

Excellent hostel, situé à deux pas de la plage. C'est 100 % propre et l'emplacement est idéal. Un grand merci à Lahcen, Fouzia et Yassine pour leur accueil si chaleureux et leur gentillesse. Je recommande sans hésiter !

The staff is so sweet and helpful. The location is excellent,right next to the main square. Rooftop has amazing views. Good place to meet people, they organized free couscous dinner on Friday. They were kind enough to give me some breakfast the last day, 30 mins before the time it was usually served because I had to leave early

Quite old facilites, the matress was very hard and I could barerly rest. The doors do not open well, I had to slam open and close the door everytime I went in and out. I booked the private room with private bathroom, but the bathroom was upstairs which was quite inconvenient. Noisy street; even if you are in the second floor and you close the windows, its hard to rest. It was nice to have the breakfast but it was quite poor when compared to other places in Moroco for a similar price

Me gustó muchisimo la buena energía que transmite este hostal, todo un ambiente muy familiar y siempre que he necesitado algo me han ayudado sin problema. Fui a celebrar mi cumpleaños allí ya que me apetecía probar algo nuevo y he pasado unos de los mejores momentos de este verano, sin duda jamás lo olvidaré 🫶🏼🥰

The staff was excellent, especially Hassan, who gave us a great deal on surfing equipment. The rooftop has amazing vibes at night, and there’s a very friendly dog named Roxy who made our stay even better. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but overall you get way more than what you pay for. The location couldn’t get any better it’s perfect!

The location is close to the main road strip, and had a nice communal rooftop

The uphill road to place if you’re carrying a suitcase. The locks on the doors are very rusty and stiff, you almost have to break the door to open and close it.

It was in a good location and the staff were amazing! The staff at Azoul Surf Hostel were amazing, from the first day we arrived they were all so welcoming and helpful. We unfortunately fell ill during our stay and they couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. Very grateful for the help they gave us and how comfortable they made us. Thank you!

My experience at Azoul Surf Hostel in Taghazout was absolutely wonderful. The vibe, the ocean views, and even the skatepark nearby made Every day feel special. I truly felt what real Moroccan life is like thanks to the amazing crew: Fouzia, who is kind and friendly like a Moroccan mother, and Yassine, Moustapha, and Lahcen. They made us delicious breakfasts on the rooftop with a stunning view of the ocean. If you want authenticity, warmth, and beautiful scenery, Azoul is the perfect place.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk.

Het hostel komt totaal niet overeen met de foto’s. In de badkamer was er schimmel waardoor heel de kamer stonk. Alles was vies en nog nooit schoongemaakt. Op de muur kropen er beestjes. De hygiëne waren niet eens slecht er waren gewoon geen hygiëne. Wij zouden dit absoluut niet aanraden, het is een geldverspilling. Je moest de badkamer met meer dan 8 personen delen. Wij hadden de reviews op Booking bekeken en deze waren heel goed daarom gaan wij ervan uit dat de reviews niet echt zijn.

I absolutely loved my stay at Azoul Hostel! The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming that it feels like home from the moment you arrive. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and always happy to chat or give recommendations. It’s the perfect place if you’re traveling solo because it’s so easy to meet people and make new friends. The location is great, and the rooftop is a wonderful place to relax after a day of surfing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taghazout!

Azoul is not a hostel is a home where u are surrended by beautiful souls like fatima yassine meftah lahssan , they make my stay even beautiful. The place is cute and clean i really recommend this hostel , i ll defenitly go back so soon🫶🏻

Durch das gemeinsame Frühstück kommt man einfach in Kontakt mit anderen.

Die Fotos haben nicht das gespiegelt wo man letztendlich übernachtet hat. In einem stickigem, dunklen Raum. Die Betten sind ganz andere als auf der Website. Das Bad schimmelt vor sich hin und ist dreckig.

Localização, cama boa e roupas de cama limpas do quarto privativo.

Limpeza do banheiro era péssima, muito sujo de mofo e poeira no exaustor não permitindo que o fedor saia e deixava o quarto podre, café da manhã bem simples e muito tarde, nas fotos parecia tudo melhor.

Świetna atmosfera, bardzo socjalny hostel w którym łatwo poznać nowych ludzi podróżując solo. Śniadanie jest proste, ale poprawne. Widok z dachu jest super i jest dobrym miejscem spotkań.

I can honestly say that I’ll definitely be coming back to stay here the next time I’m in Taghazout. Yassim was incredibly kind and helpful in every way. He makes you feel right at home and always makes sure you have everything you need. If you're looking for a place where you can meet new people who love traveling and socializing, this is definitely the right spot for you! The rooftop is kind of the heart of the hostel—always full of life and a great place to meet other travelers, hang out, and share experiences. The breakfast was great, and the bed was really comfortable. If you're interested in surfing, you can take lessons or just rent the equipment you need. This was definitely one of the best hostel stays I've ever had!!

We had a wonderful stay at Hostal Azul. Yassine was exceptional: helpful, attentive, always smiling, and available for every request, which made the experience even better. Fouzia was also very welcoming, with outstanding kindness and hospitality. And special mention to Lhsen as well, who helped create such a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The hostal is clean, well maintained, peaceful, and very comfortable, with a lovely family-like feel. It’s clear that the team truly cares about making guests feel at home. I highly recommend this place for its excellent service, warm welcome, and overall comfort

Stayed here for a week and it was amazing. Great location nearby the beach and surf town. The people that worked there especially Yasin have made this place a more enjoyable and welcoming. I will definitely be back and bring more friends here to stay and surf. Thank you Taghazout

La ubicación del hostel es fantástica y la azotea tiene unas vistas geniales para empezar el día con el desayuno que ofrecen. Es bastante abundante con un buen plato de fruta y huevo cocido, además de pan con diferentes cosas para untar. El personal es agradable. También organizaron una cena comunitaria gratuita para todos los huéspedes

Que la habitación no tuviese nada que ver con las fotos mostradas. Eran mucho más oscuras y en vez de cuatro camas tenía 5 más el cuarto privado que se accedía por la habitación. La limpieza tampoco es el punto fuerte ya que en mis 5 noches, en ningún momento se limpió la habitación y había zonas de la habitación bastante dejadas

Great staff, makes everyone feel included and there is a great rooftop to meet people and enjoy the night. The rooms are also very clean. Yassine, Meftah and Ahmed are all amazing hosts!

Super bien placée, auberge cool, chambre double très confortable. Le matin on prend le petit déjeuner tous ensemble sur la terrasse avec vue imprenable sur l’océan. Possibilité de louer des planches / cours proposés à l’auberge

Es handelt sich um ein mini Einzelzimmer mit etwas Schimmel an der Wand. Das Bad ist eine alte umgebaute Küche ein Stockwerk höher.

Yassine and the team were incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived. The hostel has one of the best rooftops I've seen — the view is stunning and every night you naturally end up meeting new people there. Perfect spot if you're traveling solo. Breakfast included is a nice bonus. Highly recommend for anyone coming to Taghazout.

Séjour très décevant. La chambre attribuée ne correspondait pas aux photos de la réservation, et les dortoirs visibles sur place étaient eux aussi très différents des visuels publiés. Les sanitaires partagés étaient régulièrement sales (sable, terre, toilettes laissées dans un état inacceptable) et nous avons subi des nuisances sonores toute la nuit en provenance des escaliers métalliques et du rooftop. Face à ces problèmes, nous avons quitté l'établissement après une seule nuit au lieu des deux réservées et en avons informé le personnel. À notre grande surprise, l'établissement a ensuite signalé à Booking que nous ne nous étions jamais présentées, alors même que nous avions dormi sur place et échangé avec l'équipe concernant notre départ anticipé. Plus décevant encore que l'hébergement lui-même : l'absence de prise en compte de notre réclamation et la mauvaise foi dont a fait preuve l'établissement dans sa réponse.
