Amazing holiday house. Everything was absolutely neat and spotless. Well equipped kitchen, cozy livingroom and comfortable bed. We were lucky with weather, so breakfast outside on the sun, was just “icing on the cake”.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad, prachtig huisje met spelletjes voor de kids en met veel zorg is de inrichting gedaan. Mooie groene omgeving en heerlijk om in de zomer vanuit je bed nog heerlijk naar buiten te kunnen kijken. We komen graag nog eens terug! Bedankt voor het fijne verblijf Rosan en Ruben!

Es una casa de ensueño, decorada con mucho gusto, no le falta detalle ni nada que se pueda necesitar. Se nota que los dueños le han puesto mucho cariño y han pensado en cada necesidad. Los propietarios no estaban cuando llegamos pero no fue problema y fueron muy amables. Hicimos cena en la bbq y desayunamos en el patio rodeados de naturaleza. Una experiencia maravillosa.

Absolutely wonderful place, a real gem, gracious hosts with excellent communication. My daughter and I loved it and we would happily return in the future.

Et veldig koselig hus i fjellstil, veldig godt utstyrt! Et stort lysthus er perfekt for grilling og å tilbringe tid utendørs. Det er ingen naboer, noe som får deg til å føle deg helt avslappet! En spasertur opp skogsstien gir deg en fantastisk utsikt 🤩

Plek in de bossen, huisje heeft verschillende plekjes in de eigen tuin, en er is een ruim afdak met zitje, bbq en vuurschaal, daarbij vrij pad voor de deur om met de hond te wandelen met weinig verkeer. Industrieel erfgoed in de omgeving bezoek waard!

Het was minder makkelijk om bij het meer te komen dan we hadden gehoopt. Maar toch lekker gewandeld in de omgeving. De doorgaande weg beneden ligt er tussen (en die hoor je ook). Daar moet je een stukje langs lopen. We hadden wel veel regen (eind augustus-begin september), maar dan hadden we zelf maar beter moeten plannen 😉. Desondanks erg genoten van de natuur!

Charmante maison dans un coin bien isolé avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. Espace extérieur agréable avec de quoi faire un feu et passer une bonne soirée à la belle étoile. Les propriétaires sont très sympa et font tout leur possible pour rendre l’expérience aussi bonne que possible. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Literie propre et confortable.

Eau chaude pour la douche un peu limitée en quantité pour 5 personnes.

Knus en gezellig huis met veel liefde ingericht. Voorzieningen goed geregeld en aan alles gedacht.

On our trip to the Northcap we stopped here and felt immidiatily at home. Many thanks to Rosen and Ruben, which we had the pleasure to meet for an evening! We realy enjoyed our stay.

Rosen and Ruben are friendly people and easy to communicate with. The house has been recently renovated with a modern bathroom (washing machine), a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher), and a smart TV. There is plenty of space, and the possibility of using the fireplace is a plus. There are also cool toys for kids.

Some minor things: no Wi-Fi, but mobile coverage is good, so if you have enough data, then no issue. Fuse sometimes shuts off when electrical heater and hot plate are on at the same time, but perhaps this can be solved. Water was not warm enough in the shower when I tried. You can hear the cars surpassing at road 37, but that's not a big issue since there is not much traffic. All in all, it is very good value for the money and fully recommended.

First we liked the place and hosts were very friendly. The place is cozy and hosts even made sure to provide us with direction advises on how to reach the property. They told us to feel ourselves at home, that we can use whatever food is there and a couple of small bottles of wine is also for us. It was really nice of them. And that we shouldn't worry, they will come tomorrow and take care of cleaning. And so we used some of their food and drank wine, as was advised. There were 4 of us: me, my wife, our daugter and our friend that came to visit us. We decided to give our friend some comfort and let him sleep in the room alone on a double bed.

We receieved very little checkout information, and so we approached it the way we thought reasonable. I've asked about turning on the dishwasher and it was up to us. We decided to turn it on and leave the frying pan out of it, because every non-stick cover pan gets damaged by it. That's exactly how we do it at home. I also forgot to clean the coffee machine. And then, we were presented with the images of dirty pan, some spots on the kitchen surfaces, and the communication that we lack respect for not cleaning it up and it's something else (see attached images, if available). It was also advised that we should not have used 1 additional bed (double bed should be used by 2 people). And we were asked to pay 500 NOK to compensate for all of that. We had more days of our journey in Telemark ahead of us and I wanted to sort it out ASAP, so I payed the asked amount and moved on. I set the mark of the stay to dissapointing, because what followed after the checkout ruined the whole experience for me personally.

Quiet, private location.

Our stay was incredible. We informed Rosan that we would be arriving late due to our cycling trip and were concerned about finding food. She generously offered to either prepare a meal for us or get groceries. What exceptional service! The house itself was stunning—a true Norwegian tree house with all the essentials. It was lovely meeting Rosan in the morning and hearing about her experiences in Norway. She is a fantastic host. Highly recommend this place!
