Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Really enjoyed my stay. The views from the apartment are incredible. So scenic. Really relaxing to sit and look out. There’s even a telescope and binoculars. We were able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy a drink overlooking the sea. Apartment was really clean and had everything you need. Local pub is a 5 minute drive and there’s a shop around 10 minutes away. Plenty of attractions within driving distance. Nice beaches too.

Absolutely spectacular views of the ocean from the living room, bedroom, and wonderful balcony. The seaview apartment, Gweedore, is a great base to explore the surrounding areas. Above all, Ciaran and Ann-Marie are so kind and lovely. Overall, we had an amazing trip and will definitely be back!!

Reviewed Feb 24, 2025Wonderful place to stay, Ciaran was very helpful and friendly, and the directions were spot on to find the place. For anyone traveling in future, I would recommend using the GPS coordinates from the Booking app and putting them into Google Maps
It was hard to get hot water, that’s the only negative thing, besides that it was brilliant

Reviewed Sep 28, 2024It was a most wonderful magical place. We arrived late at night in the dark and got just a bit lost. Had to call Cieran our host, who promptly met us right past our location. Such a nice man. We awoke to the beauty of the Ocean. The View! No words really. The Apt was perfect. Everything you needed if you plan on staying in. Super hot water! Sooo cozy! We loved it! I’m bringing my husband back!
There isn’t anything that I didn’t like about this property. It was perfect.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2024The Sea View Apartment is a wonderful place as a base to discover the north west of Donegal. It has everything you need for a stay - comfortable beds, large living room/kitchen, great shower and all the kitchen equipment for cooking meals. On top of all that, it has the most stunning view of the sea, coastline and islands. The hosts are also very warm people and a pleasure to deal with.

Reviewed Oct 30, 2023We loved everything about this west Donegal treasure! A beautiful modern apartment with the best sea view. We are frequent travellers & this is one of the best stays we have had. Ciaran & family were so welcoming and accommodating, nothing was a trouble! We love the area, we definitely will be back.. walking distance to the beach, has a bar & restaurant with great atmosphere close by.

Reviewed Sep 25, 2023Stayed in Ciaran’s apartment for the Seven Sisters Skyline Race in Glenveagh, short drive to Glenveagh, daughter is celiac so having full cooking facilities in the apartment was perfect, layout of apartment was great with spectacular views, you could sit on the balcony an watch the world go round here. We then found a lovely little pub 10 minutes from the apartment that served gluten free food, Teach Coll, recommended too.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2023Sea view apartment is located in a spectacular location with panoramic views of the islands off the coast of Northwest Donegal. There are great coastal walks just down the road from the apartment. Teach Jack, a local hotel, is just five minutes away by car where you can get great food. The accommodation is excellent and well kitted out. Ciarán was very welcoming and friendly. A great host. Chuir sé fáilte romhainn trí Ghaeilge fosta.

It has all that you need to enjoy your stay - comfortable beds and lovely comfortable sofa, fully equipped kitchen (that even has an air fryer!), large flat screen TV and a lovely patio area to enjoy the view. Host Ciaran was very kind and helpful. Couldn't have found a better place to stay. Would highly recommend Sea View Apartment.
