The room was superb and spacious, breakfast was good. We had dinner a couple of times there and it was truly exceptional. Fabulous food and fantastic service. Everyone extremely attentive and friendly.

Probably one of the beat hotel in the area. Very well poaitionned to see the Loire castles and explore the wine region. Amazing reataurant as well.

La taille des toilettes, si vous avez des trop longues jambes vous ne pourrez pas fermer la porte pour vous asseoir sur la cuvette. Il y a aussi un peu trop d'araignées qui séjournent dans l'hôtel, elles sont inoffensives mais bon...

Magnifique hôtel que nous avons découvert lors de notre retour de Bretagne. Se trouve juste à côté du château de Chenonceaux et à une encablure des jardins de château de Lucé où Leonardo de Vinci a terminé sa vie. Le personnel très attentif et un restaurant gastronomique dans un très bel écrin.

A equipe é incrivel com destaque para a Jaqueline. Um cuidado e uma atenção totalmente fora da curva. O restaurante é incrivel e a melhor carta de vinhos que ja vi na vida. Estar a 300 metros do Castelo de Chenonceaux tambem é um plus extra incrivel.

Os quartos classicos tem uma questão dos tetos baixos e enviezados tipicos dos ultimos andares de predios antigos na França. Para quem tem questões com claustrofobia como minha esposa, são um problema. Mas a equipe prontamente nos trocou para um quarto terreo e o problema foi sanado.

The food was fabulous and if you like fine wines then I suspect the cellar will delight you, although perhaps not so much your bank manager. The location is excellent.

das Personal im Empfang und der Service im Restaurant waren durchweg sympathisch. Das Hotel verfügt darüberhinaus über einen Park, der zum Verweilen einlädt, ebenso der Pool, den wir um die Mittagszeit bei 40° allein für uns beanspruchen konnten. Der Ort selbst ist eine Touristen ferne Oase, obschon das Schloss knapp einen Kilometer nur entfernt liegt. Der dortige Bäckerladen ist schlicht, aber mit wunderbaren Köstlichkeiten ausgestattet, so dass 2 Personen dort für 12 Euro herrlich frühstücken können (ohne an dem üblichen Überangebot im Hotel nahezu alles Angebotene nicht würdigen zu können (derart gigantisches "Frühstück" ist nicht unsere Sache).

Wir hätten schon gerne auch im Hotel gefrühstückt. Aber die Menge an Angeboten für EURO 24.-- pro Person überforderte unsere bescheideneren Frühstücksgewohnheiten. So blieb uns daher nur das Restaurant für ein Diner. Na ja, auch hier überzogene Preise auf dem Level eines 2 Sterne Restaurants, die diese Küche aber bei Weitem nicht in der Qualität und im Anspruch auf Besonderes erfüllen konnte. Nur die Bedienung war famos, humorvoll, zugewandt und aufmerksam.

Un super week-end.

Навідували готель втретє, що вже багато про нього говорить. Чудова база для огляду замків Луари. Цікава історія конкуренції готелів в Шенонсо (раджу ознайомитися, неймовірна насолода бачити результат розвитку готельного бізнесу з давніх давен). Цікаві атмосферні номери з деревʼяними балками, сходинками, незвичними формами, пречудовий великий парк, приватна парковка. В наявності басейн, зона відпочинку. Відмінна система кондиціонування. Надзвичайно високої якості білизна. Окремо хочу відзначити ресторан, якому, на наш погляд, треба повернути зірку Мішлен. Меню геть змінилося з нашого останнього відвідування, тож ми мали сумніви щодо того, сподобається нам, чи ні, бо дуже цінуємо саме класичну кухню. В результаті ми оцінили інноваційний авторський погляд і були у захваті від нового меню. Особливо поліпшили десерти. Навіть на фоні значного покращення якості кухні всіх ресторанів в окрузі, ресторан нашого готелю тримає лідерство.

З недоліківц самого готелю можу відзначити тільки софу, яка є дешевим рішенням при необхідності зробити третю постіль, але геть незручна для сидіння. Зайва пляшка вина, внесена у рахунок ресторану, також не порадувала. Вірю, що ненавмисне, але це змушує мене рекомендувати перевіряти рахунки. І нові «зберігаючі» природу тенденції, як то майже завжди вологі рушники через відсутність рушникосушки влітку, заміну не кожен день, заборону сушити їх на вулиці, відсутність бавовняних паличок та дисків роблять будні мандрівників менш комфортними, ніж раніше.

Un tres joli coin tout près du Château et à côté de la piste cyclable à côté du Cher pour les destinations plus loin comme Montrichard. Chambre de confort avec un lit doux et assez d’espace. Piscine très apprécié dans le chaleur et un petit déjeuner inoubliable. Repas au Restaurant gastro vraiment formidable avec un beau table dans le jardin. Fantastique.

Nous avons aimé le charme du lieu, la qualité du service personnalisé, et la prévenance du personnel. L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter Chenonceau. Le restaurant gastronomique est incroyable (et son rapport qualité / prix aussi 😉).

The property is a small boutique hotel, spread around a village - our room was a cute suite up some stairs in a garden away from the main hotel, which we loved. The decor is well styled and the contemporary touches with antiques were well matched.

The service!! It was my birthday weekend and we chose this hotel as had such a good location..but soo glad we didn’t eat here for dinner!! We decided to have a drink before dinner and waited ages even just to be given a menu - then people who arrived after us were served before us - bear in mind there were only 3 couples in this area?!! The manager/owner hangs around giving orders to the staff in scruffy clothes at breakfast then dresses up for the evening, never smiling or welcoming towards guests - really strange. My compliments however, go wholeheartedly to the young men who serve what was an excellent breakfast with enthusiasm and smiles!! Stay b&b would be my advice. The pool is across the road from the hotel which again is unusual, but the bonus was that we could swim there at night!

Charming hotel in the centre of Chenonceaux within walking distance of the Chateau. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the dinner was excellent. Our sommelier Chloe was fantastic and helped us discover some great wine to accompany the food.

The pressure in the shower wasn't great.

A real treat! The hotel is housed across several village houses, beautifully renovated and surrounded by wonderful gardens and a few minutes walk from the Chateau. The staff are all lovely, attentive but not intrusive and the food is fantastic. It’s the second time we have stayed en route home from the South and we will definitely be back. It is a highlight to our holiday!

Très bien situé: proche du château et de la gare. C’est un 5 étoiles autoproclamé et ́non un 5 étoiles "officiel". Les chambres sont simples et propres. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant mais le petit déjeuner est excellent: produits frais et faits maison: le cake au citron et le flan sont irrésistibles!

The location walking distance from chateau de Chenonceau and 15/30 mns drive from main Loire Chateaux. The room was very comfortable (special mention for the bed and aircon). The pool was agreeable , even if the sitting in the shadow was scarce.

The price was pretty high for a 5 stars hotel which was closer to a 4 stars. No service provided at the pool. The gastronomic restaurant was good, but still a little bit overpriced, this knowing that the menu did not change during our 5 days stay (3 choices of staters and entrees). To finish with, wifi was not that stable.

First and foremost, the breakfast was excellent; truly a great spread with plenty of options and fresh pastries available every single day. The rooms were also very nice and cozy, making for a comfortable stay. A real highlight of our 3-night stay was returning late one night from a trip to Amboise and stopping for a drink at the hotel bar. We had a fun, engaging conversation with the incredibly welcoming barman of Indian descent, which was a perfect end to our evening.

The parking situation is a bit unreliable; we were able to park at the hotel on our first day, but after returning from our day trip to Amboise, our spot was gone, and we had to park down the road. The layout of the property is also slightly fragmented, as you have to cross a road to access both the swimming pool and the garden. Additionally, we experienced some frustrating miscommunication regarding outdoor service. We were refused drinks and breakfast on the terrace because the staff claimed the tables were "already ready for dinner." Curiously, at checkout, the receptionist assured us that terrace service should have been possible. It is a shame the staff didn't at least offer the garden as an alternative for outdoor seating.

Whether it was the intense heat but there was a real problem with the amount of flies around the food etc,suggest better equipment to deal with them,however didn't stop us enjoying our stay

Room and public area interiors generally furnished to a high standard. However, the pool area is sadly lacking in care and cleanliness including a serious lack of shade until I requested umbrellas were provided due to temperatures in excess of 40 degrees so that guests could use a row of otherwise empty sunloungers. Several guests comnented that the pool was not clean with visible moss growth around perimeter of pool tiles and bad discolouration along the waterline where paint has chipped and deteriorated. Twice witnessed guests removing debris and insects before swimming as no pool attendant ever appeared to be in charge. Metal chairs located under trees were unusable due to being covered in bird droppings . Leaves and debris from the trees covered the floor tiles. A shame that such an asset havibg a pool is so badly overlooked by staff. Also noted an ashtray piled high as well as 2 dirty plates in the garden area outside our room, neither of which were removed during our 4 day stay. It seems management never walk the grounds on a daily basis to check attention to detail.

We have visited this hotel in the past - around 15 years ago and it was always a real treat. Our room was lovely and comfortable and dinner in the restaurant was beautiful if somewhat pricey as it always has been.

The staff just didn't seem as friendly as in the past. The hotel is very close to the chateau in Chenonceaux and therefore there is never a shortage of guests. There was a power cut during the night and when I enquired at reception the next morning there was just a gallic shrug and - this is affecting the whole area. No sorry for the inconvenience. We heard other guests negotiating a discount but felt it was not the hotel's fault even if breakfast was a bit disordered and internet etc was out.

Sehr gute Küche. Ich meine nur das Küchenteam, nicht den Service im Restaurant. Tolles Ambiente im Hotel und im Aussenbereich. Top Zimmerklimatisierung. Bei 40 Grad Aussentemperatur ein Segen! Die Lage ist selbstredend top!

Die Möblierung der Aussengastronomie ist veraltet und muss dringend ausgestauscht und vor allem auch mit Sitzkissenauflagen komfortabel gemacht werden. Die auf dem Aussengelände verteilten Sitzgelegenheiten waren teils dreckig bzw. voller Blätter. Der Frühstücksraum ist morgens total unangenehm runtergekühlt. Abends, wenn er als Restaurant genutzt wird ist die Temperatur hingegen gut. Der Service im Restaurant wird dem Anspruch nicht gerecht. Getränkebestellungen werden vergessen, Schnecken werden ohne Schneckengabel serviert. Man muss aktiv erinnern bzw. auf sich aufmerksam machen um durch den Abend zu kommen. Die Zimmerreinigung war bei unserer Rückkehr von einem 4 stündigen Ausflug um 13:30 noch nicht erfolgt. Auch hier musste wieder aktiv erinnert werden, was dann um 14:35 zu einer Ausführung führte. Das Freibad kann morgens erst ab 09:00 Uhr genutzt werden. Damit scheidet Frühsport vor dem Frühstück faktisch aus. Diese ganzen kleineren Ärgernisse führen zu meiner Einschätzung, dass das gehobene Preisniveau der Unterkunft nicht gerechtfertigt ist. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist schlecht!

The bed was comfortable, the food, exceptional in the restaurant, the breakfast was lovely, and the pool was divine. There was a cold plunge, and a hot tub as well. Beautiful grounds, accommodating staff.

Wine wine less price is pretty high-end, and Internet, a little bit glitchy from time to time

The restaurant was superb. Our room was large and airconditioned. The hotel is made up of a charming set of buildings with a pool garden and a further garden. The parking was good unless your vehicle is exceptionally large as you need to pass through gateways. Electric charging available. A short walk to the chateau.

The weather could have been less hot! Nothing else..

Wonderful place in a perfect location for exploring the Loire Valley and its châteaux. Chenonceau is quite literally around the corner, which is dangerous for anyone trying to convince themselves that they will “only visit one château today.” The rooms are spacious, very clean, and tastefully decorated, while the surroundings are beautiful—quiet little villages, lovely scenery, and endless opportunities for relaxed drives and discoveries nearby. The restaurant-bistro on site is also very good, making it wonderfully easy to end a long day of sightseeing without needing to plan another expedition. The pool deserves a special mention: clean, cosy, and tucked among the trees—perfect for a quiet break after a day of cultural overachievement. Hospitality was excellent throughout: warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful without ever feeling intrusive. We felt very well looked after. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return. One small practical note: having a car is strongly recommended if you want to explore the area properly and enjoy the surrounding villages and châteaux at your own pace. Trip type

I had the same room that my mother and I had 35vyears ago. Of course everything was updated. They have expanded the property and added a pool and sauna. The staff was exceptional and the food was delicious. I even got the recipe for the chocolate truffles! I was there for only 2 nights and it met all my expectations.

This is not a 5 star hotel, but a good 4 star hotel. Attention to detail could be better. Breakfast is good but paper napkins, self service coffee on a machine is not up to the level of a 5 star hotel. our bedroom on the basement, and if curtains are not closed every one can see in your room. No door to the bathroom (but thanks god to the toilets). Very difficult to get proper hot water on the shower, with sufficient pressure. But again, a good 4 stars hotel, nothing more.
