Ster van Bourtange

De B&B was super. Het was echt fantastisch. Wat een mooie plek in de vestingstad Bourtange. Er ontbrak niets aan de B&B, echt aan alles is gedacht Het ontbijt was veel en er was een ruime keuze. Wij gaan echt nog een keer terug.

Ich kann mich meinen Vorrezensenten nur anschließen - es war ein einmalig schöner Aufenthalt mit sehr freundlichen, hilfsbereiten Gastgebern und sensationell leckerem Frühstück.

Das Licht über dem Esstisch könnte etwas heller sein.

Locatie, geweldige tuin

Prachtige locatie midden in het dorp. De inrichting is praktisch nagelnieuw en brandschoon. Heerlijke tuin om in te zitten. Erg vriendelijke host.

De wenteltrap naar de slaapvide is helaas wat onhandig.

Paula was gastvrij en vriendelijk. Het was een fijne sfeervolle ruimte, heel schoon en een heerlijke tuin ! Het ontbijt was heerlijk! We komen zeker terug!

Immaculate, fabulous location in historic Bourtange, very convenient parking. A hidden jewel, wonderful hospitality.

Nothing to dislike unless you are uncomfortable with stairs to the top floor bedroom

This is outstanding accomodation, size, quality,facilities and location. We travel often and can say this is one of the best, if not the best, we have stayed in . Paula is fantastic , both as a host but also as a charming person happy to chat ( in good English ) and give helpfull tips. Bourtange is a unique historic star fort and the property is located in the village within it. The museum and associated buildings have exceptional displays. Walking about or taking a morning stroll on the ramparts is such a peasure there being virtually no traffic . We will teturn for sure. John

Having to leave!

We stayed at this centrally located, charming, stand-alone cottage in mid May. Tastefully decorated, it is cozy and comfortable inside and the secluded garden was blooming with flowers. The well appointed sleeping loft is at the top of a spiral staircase. The stairs have motion activated lights, so they can be navigated at night. The hosts, Paula and Marcel, who live next door, were attentive and welcoming. Paula served us a truly sumptuous breakfast at our cottage table, (as well as a late lunch the day we arrived). This is a perfect place to stay in any season, when exploring the area.

The location is amazing. Also the style of the house is very nice. Both of the owners were very kind to us.

We liked everything.

Comfortable little cottage which is beautifully decorated in the idyllic setting of Bourtange. It is detached with it's own lovely outside area. We had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer. We regret not ordering the breakfast as there were limited options in the village.
