Reviewed Mar 18, 2026Zeer aardige gastvrouw. Een compact maar goed huisje voorzien van alles dat je nodig heb. Het was ook allemaal netjes schoon.
Het tweepersoonsbed is niet groot genoeg voor 2 personen helaas. Wij hebben daarom gebruik gemaakt van de bedbank, maar als je die gebruikt kan je amper meer lopen van de slaapkamer naar de badkamer. Ook is de bedbank erg hard en ligt niet zo lekker. Voor een kort verblijf is dat te doen

The only thing we struggled with was the WiFi being quite slow. There wasn’t a washing machine but we found lots of local laundrettes so it wasn’t really an issue.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2026Private location Friendly owners with a gorgeously friendly dog Sydney who came to welcome us. Little additions that made our stay special for our honey moon travelling NZ. Great bed, shower and space to relax in. Sun on the small patio in the afternoons made it perfect to catch rays. Cindy made us feel like family very approachable and warm feel. Home from home. Great spot to park car close to get your luggage out. A few restaurants about 20mins away. Beautiful garden surrounding the plot. Lots of effort to make the environment pretty.
Only that the location wasn’t so close to much, however, the area had lots of renovations underway. Watch this space.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und es gibt einen großen Kühlschrank. Die Lage ist direkt gegenüber eines schönen Wohngebiets. Die Fenster in der Küche sind so konzipiert, dass man den Container bei gutem Wetter komplett öffnen kann.
Vor allem morgens hört man schon den Lärm der Autos.

I couldn't get the TV working, unfortunately - I think it was a simple issue of flat batteries in the remote.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Wat een geweldige plek. Werkelijk alles wat je maar nodig kunt hebben was er. Alles was heel praktisch voor als je op doorreis bent. Maar het is zeker ook een prima plek om een tijdje te verblijven. Met een heel complete en praktische badkamer en keuken, een gezellige zit-en eethoek, een mooie ruime slaapkamer en een plek om lekker buiten te zitten. Alles was heel licht met grote schuifpuien, en heel netjes afgewerkt. We hebben heel wat overnachtingen gedaan in Nieuw Zeeland, maar dit was echt de allerbeste!

Reviewed Oct 1, 2025My stay didn't include breakfast> I prefer to eat out when on holiday and there were delicious cafes within walking distance or a short car drive. I liked the friendliness of the hostess Sandy and her willingness to assist if needed. There was also room to park my rental car next to The Container. The Container was clean, airy and easy to heat with some chilly nights. Plenty of hot water for showers.
Nothing - it was much appreciated accommodation for six days.

For me - the busy road noise was an issue, but a heavy sleeper would have no problems. And bed was little, but it probably says that somewhere prior to booking.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2025Comfortable, sparkling clean, everything was new and worked perfectly, the owner greeted us, we were interested in her gardens and she gave us a tour including fresh fruit from her trees. There was a welcoming milk and other things that filled in what we were missing to get out for a flight the next day without having to shop. She gave us good tips on the restaurant that met our needs we described to her. Personable and warm efficient hostess.
