Lots of ants, The paint in the room is damaged, the door to the room doesn't close properly and is old. The refrigerator smells bad, there is no sink in the bathroom and the bathroom is too small.

The host is very welcoming and friendly, I love it. The room is comfy, I loved the bed and pillow very much, senang tidur. Got 1 mini fridge, tv pun ada (tapi siaran basic), ada toto and sejadah disediakan. Ada cafe and boleh hantar makanan ke bilik. Overall, puas hati dan selesa. Cuma kalau balik lambat, pagar dah tutup & kena bukak sendiri, but takda masalah.

Check-in and check-out were smooth, and I appreciate the older lady who helped replace the air-conditioning remote control, as it was not working properly.

The cleanliness was far below expectations — the place was rather dirty, with stains and mold visible in several areas. It was unclear whether the bedsheets had even been changed, as they felt dusty and unclean. Felt itchy after sleeping on the bed. There was no sink in the bathroom or in the room itself, which means you have to use the shower to brush your teeth and wash your face — quite inconvenient. No hair dryer was provided. I had requested one both before and after check-in, and even mentioned that it was important for me to dry my hair before sleep, especially since I arrived late and had to leave early the next morning. I understand that not every room may come with a hair dryer, but at the very least, one should be available in a common area or provided to guests who specifically ask for it. Overall, I do not recommend this place for the price (around RM100), mainly because the cleanliness was truly disappointing. If it were half the price, it might be more understandable. But as it stands, it simply isn’t worth the money. I honestly don't understand where the high reviews came from. Please think carefully before booking this place — it may not be what you expect. I’ve stayed at other places for a similar price with much better quality and cleanliness.

Owner is friendly. It’s like having a conversation to my own mum. Shops, food are easy to access. UMT, UNISZA are few mins away.

The cafeteria owned by owner only opens at 11am-6pm. Didn’t have the chance to taste the food there.

Really enjoyed my stay here! Clean room, clean bathroom, safe parking inside the gate, and tasty breakfast nearby. The owner is super nice and friendly. Would definitely come back if I visit Terengganu again. Thanks for the great hospitality!

The atmosphere there is nice and feels like home. Staff is also very friendly.

The mattress was uncomfortable. There are significant dent from previous renters so it was uncomfortable to sleep on. Cleanliness of the toilet and room require more improvement. The homestay may be hard to locate due to small signage during the day and the gate is closed at night

For Low budjet or backpackers i Recommended this place, its a small room with 2 single bed but it was okay, cleaned, quiete surrounding, well maintained.. We went on 3rd raya, our boat trip to pulau redang was cancelled due to heavy rain, booked Lakse Inn Homestay last minutes as others are fully booked, but overall it was okay.

1. The water pressure is too low. Need to install water pump to increase the water pressure. 2. The bed is too spongy made me painful when i go up. 3. It would be nice to have a table and chair in each room.
