Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Cosy private rooms on a 5min walk to hirikiteya beach. Loved the location and the hosts were super friendly a lovely family, they helped us with everything and were day and night available. Would 100% recommend !

Reviewed Mar 24, 2026The accommodation is perfectly located between Hiriketiya Beach (10 min walk, make sure you use the shortcut down the road) and Blue Beach (5 min walk). You can also walk to Dickwella beach in about 30 mins. The guesthouse is small but cosy, we woke up to delicious and fresh Sri Lankan breakfast served every morning. If you are looking for a peaceful stay away from the crowd and noise, this place is ideal!

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026It’s a very nice budget homestay (we paid 14euros per night). The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. You feel welcomed and safe. The family is very nice and the room is separated from their house so you have full privacy.
Do not go if you are sensitive with humidity. It’s a very small room - and I don’t think it’s open enough you can ventilate it and it gets better but have this in mind. Breakfast is traditional which is very nice but they should add one easy option (one pancake or rotti) because it’s only spicy curry and noodles and that can be hard in the morning for some people.

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026Amazing stay @ Imaa. Clean & comfy room, clean bathroom. It’s in a peaceful neighbourhood near both beaches with a quick short cut. Exceptional breakfasts for tasty Sri Lankan food. Lovely hosts who were very kind and attentive. Please stay here is amazing !

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026Ein sehr ruhiger space, 5 Minuten zum ruhigen Strand. 10.Minuten zum belebten Strand. Etliche sehr gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Sehr sehr nette. Leute, die das betreiben und leckeres Frühstück zubereiten. Eindeutig zu empfehlen.
Raum vielleicht ein wenig klein, da man aber eh dort nur schläft,.ist das eigentlich auch egal

Reviewed Feb 22, 2026It’s nice and secluded. Feels very private and it’s an easy walk to either Hiriketiya beach or Blue beach. The family that runs the property is soo sweet! And you get a different breakfast everyday, all very nice!
Loved everything, but the pillows were a bit too high for our liking which ruined our necks. Everything else is great for that price!

Small room with everything you need. 5 minute walk to blue beach and 10 to hiriketya beach, restaurant and everything you need it is just 15 minute walk, close to hiriketya beach! Really nice stay!🇱🇰

The room was fan only but didn't get too hot, took less than 10 minutes to walk to hiriketiya beach with plenty of restaurants along the way and the breakfast included was lovely local food and plenty of it. Imaa and his family were so friendly and helpful and brought us everything we needed. If you're travelling on a budget then this place is great :)

Reviewed Dec 18, 2024I liked absolutely everything,the owners are lovely they are always there for you if you need anything, the location was very good 5 minutes walking from, the beach there is a short cut that bring you to the way of the beach and the room was simple and cute with everything you need. Very quite and really good breakfast. I'll definitely go back if I'm in SriLanka again! Recommended
