Reviewed Apr 27, 2026This property and the host, Kathy, were exceptional. Kathy answered all my pre-arrival & post-arrival messages with patience & kindness. Her lovely guest house was exactly as advertised. It was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, very cozy, and well stocked with all the necessities (soap, shampoo, etc)- as well as super comfortable bedding, plush towels, and a mini kitchenette (small fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, cups, kettle, coffee maker, teas, coffee, etc). There was also a bottle of champagne and chocolates for my sisters to celebrate their birthdays - so thoughtful!! The daily breakfast included (at the Starby hotel) is fabulous! Truly - the icing on an absolutely wonderful cake! I am a very picky house guest, and I had zero complaints. Our stay at Kathy’s guest house was greatly enjoyed. Safety, comfort and cleanliness were surpassed. I can honestly recommend for anyone visiting Vadstena and we would love to return again!
Zero complaints

Rekommenderas!
Fanns inget jag inte tyckte om

Reviewed Jul 22, 2024Kathy is an excellent host. She has created a wonderful space and has paid so much attention to detail. The holiday house is beautiful and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The beds were comfy, and Kathy provided 2 types of pillows to suit her visitors. The gardens around the house are lovely, and the hot tub was much appreciated. Kathy made excellent recommendations for places to visit, and places to eat. She provided vouchers for a great breakfast at a nearby inn. Her place is within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Vadstena. Kathy is accessible and available. She was thoughtful, helpful and very friendly. We loved our stay!!
We loved everything!!
