The Northern House

L'appartement est situé au milieu du village avec une jolie terrasse. Il était très propre et fonctionnel. J'ai passé un agréable séjour. L'hôte est accueillant, bienveillant et disponible. Je recommande vivement.

The apartment is very spacious and is in a perfect location near to the Gryllefjord ferry departure. One can even keep an eye on the ferry terminal from.the window or the terrace. Oles, our host, was extremely helpful and even helped us with the car charging near the terminal by speaking to some of his local contacts in the village as we were using the charging point for 1st time and couldn't fully figure out. And when it comes to the apartment, all amenities were available making it a very comfortable stay.

Nothing really. We were only sad that we stayed there for one night only.

Cosy and comfortable, clean and with all the comforts. Exceptional if you’ll need to take the ferry from Gryllefjord, although there are also some lovely walks and scenic spots very close by

There aren’t any downsides. However, if you’re staying for several days, the only thing to note is that there isn’t a TV, but that’s no big deal as you can explore the surrounding area with its breathtaking views

In questa casa sembra di essere dei veri norvegesi! Un appartamento intero, con un bel soggiorno-pranzo, una cucina grande e perfettamente attrezzata, tutto arredato con mobili e supellettili come se fosse un'abitazione privata. Proprietari molto disponibili e attenti. Posizione molto comoda, a due passi dal molo per i traghetti. Peccato essersi fermati solo una notte. Sistemazione consigliatissima!

Logement bien aménagé et bien équipé

L’emplacement de l’appartement est idéal, surtout si l’on souhaite prendre le ferry le matin pour Andenes, c’est à 2 minutes à pieds!

Le manque de rideau occultant dans le salon et le matelas du canapé lit qui n’était vraiment pas confortable.

Maison ancienne rénovée,pleine de charme. Très bien équipée, très pratique pour prendre le ferry

Freezing cold when we got there. Heatpump not really powerful enough to heat all areas. A tiny bit of washing up liquid would have been nice.

The apartment was very clean, cozy and well equipped! The instructions were clear and detailed and our overall experience of the stay was amazing :)

beautiful, clean accommodation with a sea view, less than a hundred meters from the ferry. It's an advantage, in the tourist season it is often necessary to park the car in line for the ferry in the evening. The owner was very helpful, gave us tips for walks in the mountains and other "must see" on the island.

The manual for collecting keys was very descriptive, and we did not have any problems finding the home or the keys. The bathroom was quickly heated and the overall setup of the flat was good. Very clean.

No full blackout curtains. Bring face masks to sleep during summer.

Big cosy space with all amenities, great location to catch the ferry. Would come again and stay longer to enjoy the space and the outside balcony

This was the best accommodation we had while in Norway. Spacious, clean, quiet and charming. We parked our car in the ferry line up the evening prior and rolled our luggage down the hill the next morning to take the ferry to Andenes. Very convenient location for this. The accommodation is nicer than the pictures indicate, if you are lucky enough to be able to book this place, go for it!

Lovely, well equipped, comfy apartment. Excellent cooking facilities and comfy beds. Ample parking close to the apartment.

Difficult to find because there were major road works due to a burst water pipe. The owners were kind enough to text us to let us know but it took us a while to find the alternative way to the apartment in the only major downpour of our holiday. Not the fault of the property though, just circumstances, although it would have helped if there had been a number on the house.

This place was wonderful! The accommodation is located close to the ferry we took in the morning – we left the car right by the ferry and checked in easily with the key from the lockbox. The apartment was very cozy and the equipment felt brand new. We truly enjoyed our stay in this Norwegian house and would be happy to come back! Thank you!

We would have appreciated a bit more lighting in the living room. But these are just suggestions to make it perfect :)

La posizione, la pulizia, la reattività dell'host, la casa ha tutto il necessario. Check in e check out facile.

Divano letto un po scomodo,ma non ci si può aspettare da un divano la comodità di un letto .

Appartamento molto bello, accogliente, molto pulito e curato. Posizione ottima, a pochi passi dell'imbarco dei traghetti. Siamo stati davvero molto bene

Geräumige Wohnung, mit vielen Extras (Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Spül- und Waschmaschine incl. Tabs, Fön, genügend Geschirr ...) ausgestattet. Wasser kam heiß und mit genügend Druck (egal zu welcher Uhrzeit).Alles sehr liebevoll hergerichtet. Parkplatz vorhanden und sehr zentral gelegen (Katzensprung zum Fähranleger).

Beautiful apartment with a gorgeous view, close to scenic routes and amazing nature. Very well equipped even for a longer stay, totally new amenities and nice refurbishing. We liked the comfort of the place, the decoration and the nice dining table overlooking the mountains. Recommended stay!

Maybe a more powerful radiator in the bathroom and a heating unit in the bedroom. I feel the air con machine in the living room is not enough to heat up the whole place, especially in winter.

Mini appart. Sympa. A le gros avantage d'être à 50 mètres du départ du ferry. Pratique pour laisser la voiture sur la file d'attente le soir avant.

Maison au top, à deux pas de l’embarcadère pour le ferry destination Andenes. Un beau pied à terre pour visiter l’île Senja.

Gryllefjord was charming and the Northern House is very close to the town center and ferry if you plan to queue the night before the morning ferry. The place is very well equipped and the hosts are extremely helpful and willing to go the extra km for guests!

Peaceful location, lovely traditional decor, all necessary for a stay available. Beautiful full of light apartment.

The outdoor area, I believe, is not finished yet. Needs some outdoor sitting, relaxing spot.

Great place to stay in Senja island. Lot of things to see all around ! House is very comfortable with nice decorating! We will come back there for sure if we come in Senja island ! Our host and is wife were very kind with us ! Very good communication !

The loveliest apartment and the most helpful host, perfect location for the ferry.

Location is very convenient for the Andenes ferry. The atmosphere was like being in our grandparents home (with up-to-date facilities). The host was really helpful in all aspects.

Place was nice and peacefull. House was renowaited well, and all the services (shop, cafe/pub, harbour) were close. Village was nice ang the wiew was exellent 👍

Parking was a bit difficult with the things you need to carry inside.
