Wunderschöne Anlage mitten im Dschungel. Wir haben sogar Nasenbären gesehen.

Wir waren in der Nebensaison da. Leider ließ die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig.

We booked and confirmed our stay at Magic Xcacel Tulum over six months in advance, only to arrive and find the hotel closed for two weeks with no prior warning. The owner offered no apology, explanation, or assistance—just a blunt refusal to honor our reservation. We were left stranded on a remote, poorly maintained road with no internet or phone signal, and two children in tow. This lack of professionalism and communication is unacceptable. Booking.com should ensure properties like this are held accountable for such unreliable and disrespectful treatment of guests. Avoid this place unless you want to risk being abandoned without recourse.

Cadre idyllique au cœur de la jungle, tout en étant à proximité de la mer, dans un environnement calme et paisible, parfait pour les amoureux de la nature. La propriétaire est très attentionnée et toujours au service de ses clients.

Le seul petit point négatif, selon moi, est l'absence d'un mini-réfrigérateur dans la chambre, qui permettrait de garder de l'eau bien fraîche.

Petit hotel dans un endroit calme et cadre enchanteur un peu en retrait mais proche d Akumal et de Tulum. Si vous recherchez de l authenticité, allez y sans hésiter Les hotes sont aux petits soins avec nous,nous avions réservé 1 chambre pour 4 et a ce moment là il leur restait de la place et ils nous ont offert une deuxième chambre gratuitement.

Il fait assez chaud car pas d air conditionné mais il y a des ventilateurs et des moustiquaires aux portes donc si on gère bien ça va.

Cadre était magnifique, dans la nature, c'était paisible et reposant. Les chambres sont spacieuses et le lit très confortable. Esther nous a accueilli tardivement, c'est une personne très gentille et agréable.

Le seul point négatif est la chaleur dans la chambre, qui ne dispose pas de climatisation mais seulement de simples ventilateurs

Route chaotique pour y arriver mais quel enchantement lorsqu’Esther ouvre la porte! L’endroit est un véritable havre de paix tenu par Esther, une personne toujours présente, aux petits soins et pourtant tellement discrète. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très bien équipées et décorées, le jardin est adorable et la piscine splendide. Le petit déjeuner est parfait (fruits, céréales, toasts, cake et yaourt). Un véritable coup de cœur! Merci Esther et Peter, vous avez rendu notre séjour inoubliable.

Juste pour info, il n’y a pas de frigo dans les chambres et elles ne sont pas insonorisées mais cela n’enlève rien au charme et à la valeur de l’endroit.

Coup de cœur pour cet endroit hors du temps. Dès que la porte s’ouvre le charme opère. Les petits bungalows sont adorables. Grands, très bien équipés, décorés avec soin et très confortables. Le petit déjeuner est complet et bon. L’établissement est tenu par Esther et Peter qui ont été aux petits soins avec nous, à la fois très présents et très discrets. Nous avons adoré cet endroit.

Ne pas y être resté plus longtemps

Bel emplacement au milieu de la nature, calme, tranquille. Bungalows agréables. Belle piscine. La gentillesse de Esther.

The breakfast was simple and nice.

The pool was dirty, so we didn’t use it. The room’s furnitures fabrics were worn out and cracked. The place was not resembling the pictures of the place - the pictures must be many years old.

Esther has been Amazing with us, she made a surpirse to my wife for her bithday , cake , special breakfast , we loved it , thank you so muuuuuch . C'était incroyable , merci a a toute l'equipe, une jungle a 5 minutes des restaurants .

Je ne peux rien dire a ce sujet ,a part peut etre les indications pour arriver a l'hotel mais on a tout recu par whatssap la veille donc c'etait ok , et le calme la bas , un paradis.

Super quiet and relaxed spot , with a lovely courtyard and swimming pool. Esther was very helpful and looked after us so well!

Era muy tranquilo. Las cabañas y el entorno es bonito. La persona que gestiona el alojamiento es servicial y da buenas recomendaciones.

Da la sensación de que los dueños del alojamiento lo tienen abandonado esperando a que la mujer que lo gestiona se encargue de todo, y no es posible. La piscina estaba verde, sucia, se veía verdín en el fondo que se movía al pisar. La zona de piscina sucia, los cojines y sillones llenos de suciedad que le caía de los árboles, desde luego NO es como las fotos. Encontramos también bichos en los tarros de miel del desayuno, podría ser normal en ese entorno pero al final es un alimento que debía guardarse de otra forma.

Esther est vraiment une personne attentionnée. Elle a fait preuve d’adaptation pour nous permettre de faire des excursions et profiter pleinement de notre séjour. Le petit déjeuner était bon et copieux.

Great and lovely service. Beautiful rooms. The peace and quiet was amazing - being right in the middle of nature.

The breakfast was very simple (but then good!), and some flowers/decoration on the tables would have been nice. Also some signs on the very bumpy and small road to the hotel would have been VERY helpful, it was so hard to find this place. A possibility to rent a motor cycle would have been great :)

- über die Unterkunft gibt es nichts schlechtes zu sagen, allerdings ist sie sehr abgelegen und ein eigenes Auto ist zu empfehlen

Czystość a właściwie jej brak w basenie - pompa jest ale nie chodzi. Zdjęcia pokazują coś innego - gdyby nie stan basenu dałbym 10.

Das Frühstück könnte etwas großzügiger sein.

The staff was warm and accommodating. The owner made sure that I had everything that I needed. The room was actually a detached little house, and the houses were set up in a row and were very quiet. The grounds were very nice.

The small road (off the main road) was dirt, and could have been smoother.

Hosts were very friendly. Most of all I liked the fact we were so deep into nature. This is why we liked the location a lot, although others might not like the location if it's so deep into nature. Also laundry service was nice!

For the price and expectations we had, it is hard to say what could be done differently.

Lepe hiške in okolica, vendar bi lahko malo več posvetili čistoči, predvsem v kuhinji in kopalnicah ter bazenu.

Umazan bazen, kuhinja umazana, zajtrk vsak dan enoličen: kosmiči, jogurt s sadjem, ter tovst, maslo in marmelada ter pecivo in kava.

Csodálatos környezet, szépen kialakított szállás, Igényes alapok

Kicsit csalódott voltam, hogy csak 1 féle reggeli volt, ami járt a foglaláshoz, nem lehetett választani mint máshol. Én kimondottan a sós reggeliket szeretem, szívesebben ettem volna a műzli, gyümölcs helyett tojásos reggelit. Extra felárért (50 pesóért) kizárólag natúr omlettet kaptunk, nem volt kérdés hogy kerül-e rá, mellé, bele más is… Ez nem a szállás hibája de ha valaki nehezen bírja hogy be tudnak éjszaka jönni apróbb állatok a szobába akkor nem annyira ajánlom. Éjszaka több motoszkáló és csipogó hangot is hallottam az ágy mellől, ezért én nehezen tudtam aludni. Tulum jó pár kilométerre van így érdemes autót bérelni. Gyalogtávra egy étterem van összesen ahol jó ételeket készítenek, de elég egyhangú lehet ha az ember több napok tartózkodik itt és nem a lég pénztárcabarátabb. A szállás tiszta volt, minden nap takarítottak.

We loved this property. It’s hidden in the jungle, stunning villas and really central to so many locations. Best thing about the property though were the team! We were welcomed by Filipa late at night; an incredibly warm and friendly welcome - she even accommodated our need for a cold beer despite no drinks being available. The recommendation of Alex as a tour guide for Akumal was the highlight of the stay - ask for him if you stay here! Such a great guy!

It does need a deep clean and would be great to have some drink offerings but there was absolutely nothing we didn’t like.

Super accueil et disponibilité d' Esther, endroit calme et reposant , dans la jungle, il faut une voiture ! Piscine bien entretenue , petit déjeuner continental mails complet. Bonnes adresses pour les restos et les activités aux alentours.

Certains équipements manquent un peu d' entretien ( poufs déchirés en terrasse...) mais cela ne gâche pas du tout l expérience du lieu

Séjour parfait de 4 nuits dans cette bulle sauvage isolée du tourisme de masse de Cancun ou de Playa. Les ecolodges sont décorées dans un cadre bohème très reposant et l'environnement est juste incroyable. Les hôtes sont attentifs et réactifs, c'est un plaisir ! L'hôtel se situe à 5 minutes en voiture d'un village qui compte plusieurs très bons restaurants. Nous ne pouvons que recommander, Impossible d'y être déçu.

La posizione è totalmente immersa nella giungla, che da un lato può essere affascinante, ma dall'altro è scomodo per gli spostamenti. E' imprescindibile avere un'auto a noleggio e non è possibile raggiungere la struttura in scooter. Tulum dista 25 minuti di auto percorrendo una sorta di autostrada e i taxi chiedono 800 pesos a tratta. Se soggiornate qui, considerate che a Tulum i car rental vanno prenotati con larghissimo anticipo o rimarrete a piedi come è successo a noi. Esiste la possibilità di spostarsi dalla struttura utilizzando i colectivos che partono da Chemuyil percorrendo un 20-25 minuti a piedi fino alla fermata e poi raggiungere Tulum o Playa del Carmen...ma col buio è sconsigliato avventurarsi a piedi nei sentieri per la presenza di animali selvatici. La piscina non era molto invitante, durante il nostro soggiorno era sporca e non ho visto nessuno che la utilizzasse. La camera era pulita ma ci è capitato di avere parecchie formiche nel letto che ci hanno svegliati.

A beautiful place in the jungle with luxurious-feeling huts. Esther, the host, is lovely and very helpful. It could be a serene and relaxing place if it were adults only.

That it wasn't adults only. I think then it could be a wonderful and peaceful oasis, and it would possible to get a good night's sleep and wake up to the sounds of birds.

Absolut erholsam und ruhig. Esther hat sich mit dem Inhaber Fiedel um alles notwendige gekümmert. Grandios: wir konnten unsere Wäsche kostenlos waschen und trocknen lassen. Unterkunft ist erst 2 Jahre alt, super neu und gepflegt. Ganz toller großer Pool, super heimelig wie Zuhause eben.

Gibt wenn überhaupt nur ein Punkt: Fahrzeug erforderlich. Ohne wirds schwierig, wobei Fidel a7ch fährt

L accès au logement se fait par une piste et non par une route Loin de tout Pas de restauration possible sur place en dehors du petit déjeuner , c est dommage vu l état des route autours du logement

Bel établissement, au calme et dans la nature.

Le petit déjeuner reste le même chaque matin ( le morceau de beurre servi contenant des miettes de pain ...) La propreté de la vaisselle qui reste parfois à désirer . Une voiture est indispensable pour réserver en ce lieu

Wunderschöne kleine Anlage in Alleinlage mitten im Dschungel. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetete, saubere Wohlfühloase. Restaurants sind mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Zum Frühstück gab es ein leckeres Müsli und frisches Obst.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. We even got rides into town to get food. Rooms are beautiful, it’s very peaceful. You can have a more authentic experience in Chemuyil than in Playa or Tulum. We used public transport to move around and the hotel arranged bikes for us one day. It’s not that hard to find as some reviews stated.

Cleanliness could be improved, in the room and the hotel. It would be great to have a cooked breakfast but anyway wha they serve it’s delicious!

- Die Häuschen waren sehr romantisch und schön. - Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Besitzerin hat mir sogar Honig mit Zitrone zusammengemischt gegen Husten, da ich erkältet bin. - Gut klimatisiert - In der Hütte wars sehr sauber - Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe der Autobahn, sodass man mit dem Auto überall hinkommt

-Der Pool war nicht benutzbar, da nicht richtig sauber gewesen. - Frühstück ist generell in Mexico sehr knapp - Der Weg zum Hotel ist nicht rixhtig ausgebaut und gereinigt, sodass man sich denken kann, dsss dieser Weg zu den Kartellen führt.

La struttura, completamente immersa nella giungla (eppure a 5 minuti dalla strada principale) è un vero e proprio angolo di paradiso! A noi è piaciuta veramente tanto… le capanne sono nuove e curate ma al tempo stesso rustiche. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli per offrire agli ospiti un soggiorno rilassante. I proprietari sono persone veramente squisite: sono venuti incontro ad ogni nostra esigenza e ci hanno dato moltissimi consigli utili sulle esperienze local. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Che dire… se cercate relax ed un’immersione a 360 gradi nella natura, andate qua!

Essendo la struttura completamente eco sostenibile (è dotata di pannelli solari etc) a volte può succedere che vada via per 10-20 minuti la luce. A noi non ha dato noia, anzi… ci ha aiutati ancora di più nella nostra esperienza di relax. Ad ogni modo, per questa ragione non è consigliato a chi è abituato a degli standard troppo comodi.

Una maravillosa experiencia en la jungla! Las habitaciones grandes y espaciosas, el desayuno bueno, y lo mejor, la hospitalidad del personal, Esther y Fidel nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Una recomendación personal, el lugar lo recomiendo para gente que quiera vivir una aventura cómoda en la jungla. A nosotros nos encantó, y hay que tener en cuenta que, puede pasar que no haya agua caliente o que se vaya la luz un rato. Pero sin lugar a dudas, merece la pena el pack completo!

Este hotelito es un oasis de descanso y comfort en el área de Tulum, aproximadamente 15 minutos del centro. Lo recomendaría a todo el mundo que quiera un sitio muy relajante con fantástica relación calidad-precio. El equipo del hotel es muy amable.

Se trata de un hotel pequeño en medio de la selva. Se llega por una pista indicada con un cartel. Buen desayuno. No tienen servicio de comidas o cenas pero cerca hay buenos sitios para comer. Un remanso de tranquilidad!

Un lugar perfecto para descansar rodeado de naturaleza. El entorno es hermoso, muy tranquilo. Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias, y el personal muy amable y atento. Ideal para desconectarse y disfrutar del aire libre. ¡Totalmente recomendado!". Tuvieron el detalle de asignarnos dos cabañas para mayor comodidad, lo que hizo la estadía aún mejor. La piscina es muy cómoda y amplia para la cantidad de cabañas. Está retirado de la ciudad de Tulum, pero en pocos minutos en auto se llega fácilmente, además cuenta con buena conexión a internet.

No tiene aire acondicionado, pero es soportable con los ventiladores. Como está en plena naturaleza, es normal ver algunos insectos o arañas, pero nada que opaque la experiencia, algo normal en este entorno aunque a algunos les pueda sorprender.

Notre petite lodge est en plein jungle avec une très grande piscine. La propriétaire est extrêmement gentille et aux petits soins pour le confort des voyageurs.

El recinto del hotel es muy bonito. La persona que nos recibio, Esther, fue muy amable y servicial. La habitación era acogedora y bonita. Nos gustó mucho la piscina y los columpios que habian. En general nos gustó mucho!!

Como critica constructiva, a la habitación le faltaba un poco de luz. Y algunos puntos de limpieza en zonas comunes.

Sehr einfach, aber akzeptabel, Es gibt nur eine kleine Wirtschaft an der Hauptstraße mit limitierten Öffnungszeiten, aber guter Küche mit netten Besitzerinnen

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel. Il est idéalement situé et au calme (loin du tumulte de la zone hôtelière de Tulum). Pleins d’activités à faire dans le coin. Le personnel était très gentil et accueillant, le cadre superbe! Bref nous reviendrons avec plaisir!!

Secluded, quiet, romantic.

A little more rustic than advertised.? Pool wasn’t very inviting.

The hotel is nestled beautifully in the jungle. Quiet. Peaceful. Serene. Esther and the young man working were such amazing hosts! Even made us a special Mexican breakfast when I asked. They took care of everything with genuine care and smile. The hotel is in the small town of Chemuyil, which has a small town charm and is surrounded by cenotes. Just close enough to Tulum to go for the day, but then to retreat to your quiet, beautiful oasis. Yes, there is no AC, but I promise you don't need it. You have cool fresh air and a couple of fans. I even got a little chilly and used both blankets. Slept like a baby.

This accommodation was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, Esther warmly welcomed us, provided all the information we needed, and proactively took care of everything. The property is stunning and impeccably maintained, with beautiful rooms, warm shower water, a pool, hammocks, bean bags, and more. The breakfast was delicious and always more than enough. We highly recommend having a car, as it makes exploring the surrounding area much easier. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, and we would recommend it to anyone. We’d love to come back ourselves! It’s the perfect choice for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Tulum and truly enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful little jungle hotel - close to cenotes and Tulum. Unlike others we had no trouble finding it (use Google Maps). Very calm and quite with few rooms/bungalows. The rooms are exceptionally nice and has absolutely everything. The service from the host is very personal and nice; she is ready to help you with anything! Breakfast was the best we had in all our stays in Mexico!

Very little light in the room + be aware of no food being available except for breakfast 😊

Good place to have the experience and the quiet of a jungle

We got a very warm welcome from the staff and given the birthday gifts. it was so lovely and cute, and made us happy. Luckily, we were alone as a family in the area. All the square was for us only, and we were enjoying it. The room was very clean and comfortable with two beds. Very tasty breakfast was served in the area near a pool. The hotel is situated in a forest, thus it was peaceful time. The design is amazing.

The only one uncomfortable thing we got was connected with a destination of the hotel. It was not so easy to find a right turn from the main road. It would be good to provide a very detailed instruction how to reach out the hotel.

It seems to be a nice village in the jingle. Far from noises and we had the whole place to ourselves. Hist was friendly and tried his best- however they were totally not prepared.

We stayed 2 nights and both nights and mornings there was no electricity- hence no water (we were flushing toilet with pool water!) at all and no light, no fans. The place seems to be a bit abandoned and dirty (old leaves in the pool and on the floors; dirty showers). The location is very difficult to be found ( the only sign was broken in the row next to the road, the road is unpaved and uneven, you risk harming your car! It also ends with a ride through the jungle with wild dogs accompanying you. Our house had a broken door lock so we were not able to close it during the day when we were out. The bed linen have really bad smell and with no AC (or fan) everything was very wet and filthy after the night. The breakfast was not enough even for the kids (two toasts per person and some slices of fruits with tiny amount of jam, honey). The pool was really dirty and with cold water that was straight from the well hence the color was not transparent and the smell was bad. Unfortunately quite a dissatisfying and disappointing stay :( not like on pictures.

the access to bumpy and google maps is incorrect - when close by (2 mins away) it’s the next left off the bumpy/sandy road - not the one on google :)

The hotel is an oasis in the jungle. Beautiful property and well maintained. THere are numerous cenotes nearby and the hotel provides bikes to visit them. Many of them are free and just known by the locals.

The hotel is a bit of a challenge to find. Google Maps will send you in the wrong direction. More signage would be helpful.
