Nous avons passé un excellent moment chez Pablo, les chambres sont très confortables, la maison est propre et très chaleureuse. Le petit dejeuner, avec un jus de poire et une confiture fait maison par notre hôte, était excellent. C'est un endroit parfait pour séjourner dans le Tessin et découvrir la vallée Maggia. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Never been there as they couldn’t accommodate our check in time, still took the money and didn t even offer to give us coupon or other options, thiefs, thats what you are, anything but to call you an host

Im Zimmer Cesare war das Bett sehr gut, und es hatte zwei Fenster, ideal für eine Abkühlung im Sommer. Guter Ort um neue Menschen kennen zu lernen.

Das Haus ist sehr alt und hat einige Treppen. Die Böden und Türen knacksen was geht! Man hört echt alles im Haus, vom zweiten Stock, und von den Leuten auf der Terrasse (was aber auch gemütlich sein kann). Das Badezimmer ist sehr einfach und im schlechten Zustand. Wenn man es gerne abenteuerlich und alternativ hat, dann ist diese Unterkunft ok.

Sehr, sehr netter Gastgeber, wir haben uns sehr willkommen und zuhause gefühlt. Einfache aber individuelle Ausstattung und den den Deko. Ich habe super geschlafen!

Für uns perfekt, wer Wert auf „Hotel-Chick“ legt, sollte woanders hin. ;-)

Pablo ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber und kennt das Tal wie seine Hosentasche. Die Aussicht ist phänomenal und die Betten waren sehr gemütlich. Es ist eine DIY Unterkunft mit Charme!

Das ganze Haus ist zwar sehr alt, aber alles ist gut erhalten und vor allem sehr sauber. Tolles Frühstück mit selbstgebackenem Brot. Sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der gerne einen Schwatz mit seinen Gästen hält. Bei der Ankunft gab es einen kleinen Willkommensapéro.

Frühstück musste selbst zubereitet werden, störte uns jedoch nicht. Es war wie zu Hause.

Нямаше кой да ни посрещне. Беше отключено, изключително мръсно и зловещо. Нищо общо с снимките. Попаднахме в измама. Не е нормално тази дупка да предлага стаи за нощувка.

Nice simple hostel Great location Very nice village

Το κατάλυμα είναι σαν καταφύγιο. Πολύ καλή επιλογή σε όποιον αρέσει η φύση, τα βουνά και οι πεζοπορίες. Ο Πάμπλο πολύ εξυπηρετικος, μας βοήθησε πολύ και μας έδωσε πληροφορίες για την ιστορία και τα αξιοθέατα της περιοχής.

Pablo war sehr zuvorkommend und bemüht, dass es uns gut geht. Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit selbst gemachten Brot, Konfitüre und Apfelsaft.

We stayed for one night as a young couple on a low budget and had a unique and interesting experience. Although the property was a shared space, we ended up having it all to ourselves, which was a pleasant surprise. The house had an unconventional but charming aesthetic that fit well with the natural surroundings. The owner was very kind and helpful throughout our communication, even though we didn’t get the chance to meet in person. It’s clear that the place was created with a free-spirited, adventurous vibe in mind.

That said, some aspects of the stay weren’t ideal. The infrastructure was quite old, and although it matched the rustic style of the environment, certain areas looked a bit neglected. The towels provided were quite small for full body use, and some items around the house seemed a bit random or out of place—though that may have been part of the “use your brain” experience the host intended to offer. Still, a bit more attention to practical comfort would have made a difference.

What an absolutely beautiful location and very authentic accomodation, Pablo was a lovely host who accommodated our late check in without hesitation. Staying here was a highlight to our trip and we recommend to others.

This was the perfect place to stay while hiking in the Cimalmotto and Bosco Gurin area of Valle Maggia. It was on both the 313 and 312 bus routes up the valley so easy to get around without a car. Our host Pablo was so friendly and obliging. We brought our own food with us from the Coop in Cevio and we loved the warm cozy kitchen where we could eat. I rate this place 10 out of 10, not because of the gold plated taps and marble bathroom, but because it suited us perfectly as hikers.

The Hostel was clean and offers a very nice view. The house and the decoration has character. Pablo, the host is nice - as long as you don't critisize him...

The hostel is incredibly noisy - the floor/ceiling is just a single layer of wooden planks. Even though the house has 6 or 7 rooms, the host placed the only other guests right in the room above us. They couldn't sleep because they had a marten running around above their ceiling and we couldn't sleep because they were walking around... the host didn't take responsibility but got angry when we critisized his room choice... and he placed the next guest right in the room below us. It seemed to us as if he was mainly concerned about placing guests far away from his own private rooms to avoid the noise - at the expense of his guests experience... And there is a reason why he doesn't have a foto of his kitchen...

The host was amazing and very friendly and hospitable. He made snacks for us when we arrived. And he invited us to come and join him and his friend to socialize on his porch. I was suffering from a lot of muscle soreness and he offered some arnica oil to help with the soreness. I felt as though we were in good hands.

Really cute! We just came for the night, on a long road trip and the host did even made us a hot-water-bottle. Was really cute. For breakfast we had self made jam. Really nice environment, I would recommend for hikers to stay the night here!

Fabio the host was very welcoming. Showed us tips where to visit and offered a welcome drink.

Expected a better breakfast and better WiFi.

It is quite ‘unconventional’ place… in a positive sense 👌🏻 owner Pablo is fun, easygoing and passionate about making guests feel at home. Entire (centuries old) house is charmingly furnished and decorated, so are the rooms. Linescio itself is well positioned to explore all beautiful valleys and villages around.

Can’t say ‘didn’t like it’, more a word of warning … ceilings are low and if you are toll… you know what I mean 😊

It is an exceptional place where a kind of hospitality is practiced which unluckily has become so infrequent: one that is not commercial and based on clichés about supposed wellbeing, but on human relationship and a spontaneity which makes you feel at home immediately. Pablo, de owner and host, gave us broad and far-reaching information about the place, the valley, its history etc. , right upon arrival... It is like staying at a friend's place. Thanks, Pablo!!!

Our stay at the Wild was simply amazing! The valley is gorgeous and the village, the stone houses and the terraces are incredibly beautiful. Pablo was a great and generous host and we really enjoyed the interesting conversations with him and his partner over a glass of wine and the yummy breakfast in the morning.

Plenty of choice

I liked Pablo's hospitality, sincere communication. We felt like home in this guest house. If you like a hotel environment, then this guesthouse is not for you. We loved the unconventional old house with original furnished rooms and bathrooms. Houses use solar energy, breakfast is vegetarians. Convenient location of the house, very close to the hiking trails.

There can always be something better. But in this case, we liked everything.

Pablo was a great host, super friendly and great advice on all kinds of things related to Ticino, the valley, the region in general, restaurants in the valley, and going to San Carlo in Bavona Valley to ride the gondola up to Robiei, too. The breakfast was good too (great coffee, egg, homemade bread!) - thanks again - I will recommend Guest House by Wild to friends!

I wish I could have stayed longer and also wish the village restaurant was not closed (Osteria Sascola is closed no matter what the internet says now).
