Everything else. The room was dirty with dust everywhere. The housekeeping was minimal and used products not replaced and dirty cups left lying for days. We had a cold night but heating unavailable.the shower flow surged. No food whatsoever available all day after breakfast 8.30 too late to start breakfast. No pastries as offered on the menu or selection of berries/pineapple/ melon on offer. No porridge

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Our room opened up into a courtyard and then you could walk out through the gate to view a beautiful groomed open space. There were benches to sit and relax and the 2 kitties there enjoyed being petted. Very quiet and peaceful. The bar was nice to sit and have a drink. The breakfast was made to order and included in the price of the room.

Arrived in car park and saw hotel entrance sign and gate. We buzzed and had message that no one was available. Luckily other guests arrived and gave us the PIN code. At reception a sign saying reception closed go thru to the public bar. Not the best welcome we’ve had. Think they might need additional staff. Despite this the hotel and bar were nice and I’d possibly stay here again

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026The interior design of this accommodation is very well selected. Each room creates a atmosphere which calms you down and relaxes you. The staff is very friendly and open for a chat. Even though it is a hotel it wasn’t anonymous - the opposite is the case: I always felt welcome.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Le petit déjeuner était très bien et typique. Il est rare d'avoir des établissements où l'on vienne vous servir à table. Le personnel accueillant et souriant. Les petites attentions dans la chambre, la décoration typique et l'emplacement très calme à deux pas de la mer. C'est un bel établissement. Etablissement très propre.
La salle de bain, j'ai été déçue par la douche qui n'avait pas de bac à douche et un rideau de douche. Mais j'ai l'impression que dans les pays anglo-saxons , les salles de bains ou de douche ne correspondent pas au mêmes normes qu'en France.

There is no evening meal option at the hotel and very limited choice in the village, so you need transport. With 2 vegetarians in our group a veggie full Irish breakfast would have been good.

Every member of staff I encountered were friendly and were more than happy to chat and help us with any requests. Plus I had the most perfect soft boiled egg for breakfast. Thank you Flynn's

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026I was over for a funeral in Termonfeckin and this place was ideal for us, it was where my family lived nearby , so therefore it was an excellent location.
The bar wasn’t open at night, it would have been nice to get a drink or a snack, but that was the only thing tha could have been better, overall we had a nice stay and would certainly book again.

The breakfast room overlooks the river that runs next to the hotel. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order and the full Irish was delicious, plus there was cereals, fresh fruit and pastries. The hotel bar was relaxing and had a friendly atmosphere.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Such a gorgeous and friendly place. We stayed in the apartments which had plenty of space, comfy beds, plenty of tea/coffee/water/biscuits. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. Outside on the decking by the river was so pretty and the lovely quiet beach was a 2 minute drive away. We only stayed one night so not sure what there is to do in the area but we had a meal at the Smugglers Cove about a 5 minute drive away which was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, thank you for a lovely stay.

The only recommendation I would have is to maybe have the option to turn down the radiators in the bathroom. It was a very mild evening, so the room was very warm.

The location was very quiet and a good undisturbed sleep was assured. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from both cereals fruit juices and hot food which was cooked specifically for you and this was delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly and offered to help us with places to visit locally which was appreciated. A good price and if asked “would you stay here again?” The answer is an unequivocal YES!…

Reviewed May 6, 2026It was close to where we needed to go for a wedding weekend. Nice and close to beach too. The breakfast was delicious and the staff members were all very nice and welcoming.
There was nowhere to store clothes. We were given 4 mismatched hangers for four people for 3 nights. The bathroom was…..interesting to say the least. Basically everything got wet every time anyone used the shower. The double bed was tiny - not ideal for my husband who is 6’3”.

It was warm and cosy and very peaceful. The bathroom and bedrooms were immaculate. The shower was fantastic. We had everything we needed in the rooms. Parking was straightforward. The breakfast was freshly made and very tasty. The manager was extremely helpful.
