Reviewed Jul 8, 2026This is not the first time I have stayed at the property. The unit was really a one bedroom flatlet with kitchen, bathroom and a lounge / dining room. The unit was clean and well stocked on arrival. There was secure garage parking for my vehicle.
The only negative comment - The complimentary coffee and "milk" had run out by day 2 and had not been replaced for morning coffee.

Needs more cutlery and plates, otherwise you have to wash while preparing the next course. Location is good for getting in/out and shopping is nearby. But a bit noisy during rush hours.

The way it operates. You ring the doorbell, then the owner answers the phone. Then they call the person on site to come and open up. All while you're just parked on the road outside. The garage door broke while I was there, which couldn't be helped but the way the owners handled the issue wasn't ideal. I was unable to leave the property until the door was fixed, which meant I missed the appointment I was in Joburg for. Owners didn't even come to the property to talk to us in person about the issue of the garage door. Just said that someone was on their way. The man that repaired the garage door wasn't even aware that the guests that were stuck were all needing to leave, so there didn't seem to be any urgency communicated to the repair man. Customer service skills were really slack in general. The room itself was lovely, but I wouldn't stay here again.

I asked for a cot and I did not receive it, and the welcoming was hasty. With no cot my 1 year old cried quite a bit and that got my 3 year old to also cry. The tv in the room did not work and the glass by the main door was out.

One major downside was the parking situation. Despite the website stating that there is unlimited parking, we arrived with two cars and could only park one inside. The second vehicle had to be left outside on the pavement, which was disappointing and felt misleading. This is something that definitely needs to be addressed to avoid future inconvenience for guests. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the parking issue was a letdown.

Reviewed Oct 6, 2025The room was very spacious and clean. We had a great night's rest as the bed was really comfortable. Secure undercover parking for our vehicle with remote access was provided. The pool area and garden is really well maintained and beautiful.
The wi-fi signal was intermittent and poor. The wi-fi router was on top of the kitchen cabinet and was so placed that when the cabinet door was opened it was in danger of falling off the cabinet. This should be moved.

The communication at the start wasn't great. We had to wait for a lady to run the 200m race from up the road, to tell us to go to a different annex of the BnB. And then because our car was packed she had to run the 200m back up again.
