ReeCha Hotel Mullai - Near Jaffna

We stayed at ReeCha Hotel Mullai with our family and had a really nice experience. Since the hotel is within ReeCha Park, the kids had a great time and there was plenty for them to enjoy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Just one small point for improvement — the bathroom door lock was not working, which made it a little difficult to get proper privacy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend ReeCha Hotel Mullai, especially for families with kids. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A hidden gem in Jaffna region– perfect for recharging ​We had an amazing and peaceful stay at Reecha. The service was absolutely excellent, and the atmosphere was so cozy and welcoming. If you are planning a trip to Jaffna, we highly recommend staying here to unwind and relax. We will definitely be back!

Room was smelly and the bathrooms were also not cleaned properly. We decided not to stay the night and checked out. Staff need to be trained better. They said they will send our welcome drinks up to the room (though we were not expecting) but the drinks never came. The door handle to our main door was broken. It was quite clear that housekeeping wasn’t done. There was no shampoo body wash etc in the bathroom. We stayed for s few hours and left. I think it’s more for local tourism.

Amazing stay at Reecha! The hotel is superb, but the real treasure is the staff: from the bar to the golf cart driver, everyone is incredibly kind. We had a great time, we laughed, we enjoyed ourselves... and we'll be back next year with pleasure 🍹😎!

The staff in the reception and the restaurant was so nice and gave such good service. The pool was clean and big. We really enjoyed our stay and can absolutely recommend to others ! We can also recommend the lovely lemon juice.

Inside roads need to put carpet road because water stays in the road when raining time. rooms need a kettle to get the hot water to drink.

Great place and defo recommend Mullai and Kurunji resorts. Staffs were very helpful and food at the resort is delicious. The atmosphere 👌 is beautiful amazing for family trip with all the activities and adventure park.

The hotel part of the resort was fine. The food was excellent. It was good value but far away from the city centre.

The faucet on the wash basin was a little shaky and the hotel was in a theme park and an hour's drive from Jaffna City. It's too far out from Jaffna City where all the action is.

Compared to what’s available outside of Reecha, this place is fantastic—a unique mix of theme park and entertainment venue with rooms, a hotel, and cabins. The hotel we stayed in was very clean and pleasant. Staff were excellent—very helpful and attentive. Food was good, a bit spicy and distinctly Sri Lankan, but they did their best to cater to our European preferences.

The only downside was the weekend crowd—locals flocked to the pool, and there was often a drunk uncle causing a scene, likely because we were clearly foreign. For some reason, the village idiot always found his way to us. That said, the staff were excellent—always alert and quick to step in to prevent any issues from escalating.

It gets very busy in evenings and weekends with locals. Swimming pool was dirty. Restaurant is very pricey.

Very convenient location when travelling in or out from Jaffna

We are booked from booking.com and request(on call) take payment from bank card they accept. When we left, they said booking.com did not pay us. You need to pay online . we spoke with them, and they didn't accept card payment, then we sent money from the uk to the srilanka Bank account. I spent more money because of the transfer fees.

Almost an oasis of calm , except when it was not. Good swimming pool and restaurant. They even have a bar. When I mentioned there was a hole in the bathroom ac ducting that let in mozzies , it was quickly resolved.

One guest proceeded to play his boom box at level 11 at the pool from 21.00 hrs. The staff did not intervene. I was forced to leave our room and asked if he could play at an acceptable level, which he complied with .

Lack of information about the farm itself,a map of the place would have been helpful but all said and done a huge place with lots to do.

The reception staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The massage services were also quite good, and the location of the hotel was convenient.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. The management was rude and condescending, making us feel like unwelcome guests. Before checking out, they insisted on a thorough room inspection, as if they expected us to have stolen something, which was incredibly insulting. They charged an outrageous Rs 2000 for a towel my wife used to remove makeup, which felt like a cheap way to squeeze extra money from us. The swimming pool was filthy and completely unmanaged, with people swimming in regular clothes and no lifeguard on duty. To make matters worse, the pool was open to the public, allowing large, unruly groups to drink by the poolside, making it unsafe for families. The poor management and disorganized, dirty pool area ruined our stay, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families.

Hot water didn’t come in the tap and when complained they didn’t bother to rectify and when ordered room service it took so long to get delivered and food in the restaurant also not that good.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Reecha, and it was an exceptional experience. The lush greenery and meticulous attention to the grounds truly make Reecha stand out as a unique destination. One of the standout features of Reecha is the variety of dining options. The hotel offers several restaurants, each with its own distinct culinary experience. The staff at Reecha also deserve special mention. They were incredibly friendly, very attentive when I was sick, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their kindness added a personal touch to the entire experience. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and great food, there are plenty of fun activities specially for the kids to enjoy at the hotel, making it perfect for both relaxation and recreation. I highly recommend Reecha to anyone looking for a peaceful yet vibrant getaway.

All good except SUVAIYARUVI RESTAURANT. Food good for price , but the staff , the way of handling customers very poor. They are contradictory on their service. As Customers we got fade up with the suvaiyaruvi staff.

We stayed in the Kurunchi Resort and we absolutely loved it! Beautiful and great food, just sad we couldn't stay longer. Also met Baskaran, who was lovely to speak to. Highly recommend.

The security was informed of our arrival. The reception was also informed. The rooms were clean and quiet, bedding was clean. The bathroom has hot water. Meals are available both at the hotel and nearby restaurants. Natural and nice surroundings at the hotel outside.

Beauty of garden. Breakfast was good. Vegetarian restaurant was ok.

Room was not cleaned when I arrive. It was cleaned next day to a good standard. Some of the restaurant was off full food.some indian food.

Room is clean and comfortable. Aircon excellent. WiFi great. Food great. There is a shop in the grounds for snacks and drinks. This is a very quirky place to stay, the hotel is part of a family orientated park/garden/organic farm. I guess it's aimed mainly at kids, but i found it quiet enjoyable to pass time. It's a bit of the beaten track, but I think well worth it.

The cabana is spacious and comfortable. Meals were great.

They really cheated on the payout calculation. Through Booking.com, we first agreed to pay AUD 333, but in the end, we were required to pay AUD 392.

This is a centre parks Sri Lankan version, not that we had realised. Quite a hoot. Lovely clean rooms. Very friendly attentive staff.

There is an expensive resort in the park for tourists( like us). This wasn’t a dislike, but a beer there cost a great deal more than a meal for two in the park restaurant.
