Munduk Kupang Sekumpul Villa

Die Anlage war wunderschön, sehr süße Bungalows mit Top Ausstattung, super schöner Infinity Pool mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang und sehr nettes Personal und in Lauf-Nähe zum Sekumpul Wasserfall.

Das ist etwas wofür die Unterkunft nichts kann, was aber leider ein wichtiger Punkt ist: der Weg zur Unterkunft hin ist nicht leicht, man muss Glück haben einen Fahrer zu finden, da die Straßen sehr schmal, steil und teilweise große Löcher haben.

Perfect location to visit the Sekumpul Waterfall. Villa was such a beautiful surprise. Clean spacious great water pressure and such lovely staff. Pool was great as was the restaurant. Great stop over to visit falls.

Nous avons trouvé la chambre pas suffisamment isolée pour notre confort (bruits extérieurs et luminosité).

Die Lage ist wirklich wunderschön und perfekt für einen Besuch der Wasserfälle, da man direkt von der Unterkunft zu Fuß losgehen kann. Der Ausblick und der schön gelegene Pool haben uns besonders gut gefallen. Auch die Bungalows sind schön. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Beim Service wäre etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit schön gewesen. Unser Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt und auch leere Flaschen auf der Terrasse oder eine kaputte Liege am Pool blieben stehen. Die Verständigung war manchmal etwas schwierig, da nicht immer alles auf Englisch verstanden wurde. Insgesamt wirkte die Anlage dadurch stellenweise etwas lieblos, obwohl das Personal wirklich sehr nett und bemüht war.

Great villas located right next to the Sekumpul entrance. The staff arranged a local guide for us and they transferred us directly to Hanging Restaurant & Bar, making the hike to Sekumpul easier and more enjoyable.

Food quality could be improved and more international breakfast options to be added.

We absolutely loved this place! The location is incredible—just a few minutes from Sekumpul Waterfall, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with a beautiful river flowing through the property and even small waterfalls higher up. It creates such a peaceful and incredibly romantic atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally attentive, kind, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The villas are spotless, beautifully maintained, and the entire property feels like a hidden paradise surrounded by nature. If we ever plan another trip to Sekumpul Waterfall, this will be the only place we’ll stay. Highly recommended!

L’établissement n’est pas situé à Munduk, mais à Sekumpul. Dans notre cas, cela a été un avantage pour certaines excursions, mais un inconvénient pour d’autres. Il est donc préférable d’en tenir compte lors de la planification de votre séjour. Le personnel nous a informés que nous pouvions bénéficier d’une réduction pour la visite des chutes d’eau de Sekumpul, ce qui a été un avantage appréciable.

Le personnel manque parfois de proactivité. Un matin, nous n’avions plus d’eau pour prendre une douche, mais aucune information ne nous a été communiquée, alors que nous étions en contact avec l’hôtel via WhatsApp. Par ailleurs, il est nécessaire de se rendre à la réception pour commander les repas, ce qui peut être moins pratique. Nous avons également été surpris que le personnel nous indique qu’il n’était pas possible de nous fournir de nouvelles serviettes de bain, alors que nous étions les seuls clients de l’établissement à ce moment-là.

I dont understand why we were the only guests during our stay as this place is clean, with nice staff and in beautiful area. And the view from the pool is just perfect. We got a special guest card which allowed us to enter Sekumpul waterfall (which is walkable from the accommodation) at reduced price.

Some parts of the cottage seemed bit outdated, but nothing really bad.

Sadece kahvaltıda cesitlerin cogu kalmamıstı. Cok tercih edilen menüdeki ürünlerin daha fazla stokta bulunması gerekirdi. Buna ragmen konaklamamızdan gayet memnun kaldık ve beklentilerimizi karsılayan bir yer oldu.

Stunning mountain (and ocean) views and a short walk to the Sekumpul Waterfall(s) trek - villa staff will gladly arrange a guide (ours was fantastic). All villa facilities are clean, the infinity pool is fresh and clean, and the Munduk team are all friendly and helpful.

The cottages are nice, the view from the hotel is so beautiful, the hotel is walking distance to Sekumpul waterfall.

We didn't like the fact that the hotel asked for lots of money when we asked for a car to take us from the hotel to Lovina at the end of our stay, they get advantage from the situation that there is no Grap in the area. But at the end we managed to find a car with the half of the price.

Das Hotelzimmer war wunderschön und sehr großzügig geschnitten. Besonders begeistert hat mich die große und tolle Poollandschaft. Außerdem ist das Hotel perfekt gelegen für einen Ausflug zum Sekumpul Waterfall.

Einziger Kritikpunkt war die vegane Auswahl. Die Mitarbeitenden sprachen kaum Englisch, wodurch es schwierig war, Fragen zu veganen Optionen zu klären. Beim Abendessen gab es nur sehr wenige vegane Gerichte und beim Frühstück eigentlich nur Obst. Hier besteht definitiv noch Verbesserungsbedarf.

The location is exceptional - 200 m from the path to the Sekumpul waterfalls and with a breathtaking view of the valley. Very good value for money given the quality of the facilities and the location. The breakfast was simple but tasty and the staff very kind and helpful. Added bonus - with the guest pass from the hotel, your ticket to Sekumpul is discounted from 150 idr per adult to only 30 idr.

Excellent stay in a beautiful and peaceful location. This property is a perfect base for visiting the nearby waterfalls, with a very short walk to Sekumpul Waterfall, Hidden Waterfall, and Fiji Waterfall. The pool and dining areas have amazing views looking out over the valley, which made meals and relaxing time especially enjoyable. The area is very quiet at night, so you really get to appreciate the natural beauty and peaceful surroundings. The staff were outstanding—very welcoming, attentive, and extremely helpful throughout my stay. I especially appreciated how quickly and thoroughly they arranged transportation and a guide for me. Their local recommendations were excellent and made the experience even better. This is a great choice for solo travelers, couples, and families looking for nature, scenery, and a relaxing stay near Bali’s best waterfalls.

The meals were excellent overall. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to offer a few more higher-protein breakfast options, although this may simply reflect my personal preferences.

Lokalita je naprosto úchvatná. Bazén s krásným výhled do okolí, jen 5min od Sekumpul waterfall. Moc hezká koupelna se středním okem. Personál velmi milý a ochotný.

Snídaně by mohla být trochu lepší, ale vzhledem k ceně 800kč/noc, je adekvátní

Très bon petit déjeuner, bon emplacement pour profiter de la nature et des cascades à proximité. Le personnel était très accueillant, nous avons profité du restaurant sur place qui était très bon.

La luminosité dans la chambre était faible (certainement à cause du lambris du sol au plafond).

KA-TA-STRO-FA! Nejhorší ubytování, které jsme doposud na Bali měli! I přes okamžitou reklamaci a žádost o vrácení peněz a zrušení rezervace, která nám byla přislíbena - manažer hotelu uznal veškeré nedostatky a potvrdil, že zašle e-mail i přímo Bookingu - sám říkal, že při přímé rezervaci by peníze vrátil - LHAL! Prodlužoval napsaní reklamace, Bookingu storno nepotvrdil a my jsme tak byli nuceni zaplatit pobyt, který jsme kvůli zdraví ohrožujícím podmínkám ani nevyužili! Na poslední chvíli jsme museli zaplatit jiný hotel - který nás vyšel v last minute rezervaci na víc, než kdyby se bral předem a též jsme museli zaplatit “předraženou” dopravu, protože v tomto místě taxíky nenajdete,…

…Booking nám nabídl směšnou částku jako “refundaci” cca desetinu z částky zaplacené za rezervaci! Na výslednou odpověď stále čekáme - již více než 48 hodin!!!! Pokoje smrdí, všude je plíseň, bazén je zelený, sítě vedle něj též, špinavé povlečení, záchody nechutné, vybavení zničené, za večeři jsme zaplatili pěknou částku a odnesli si Bali belly na několik dní, hotel absolutně neodpovídá fotkám zde na webu! V pokoji nám též běhali švábi, které se následně ze skleničky snažil sníst gekon - přímo uprostřed pokoje, v koupelně byla krev, personál následně švába odnesl do kuchyně - kde “umyl” skleničku,… Tato zkušenost nás nesmírně mrzí - Booking využíváme často a takovouto klamavou reklamu jsme opravdu neočekávali!

Очень красивые домики и территория. Классный бассейн, виды открываются нереальные. В номере все есть, хорошая кровать и постельное. Фактически, живёшь в джунглях. Слышно водопад Секумпул. Да и вообще до водопада очень близко. Мы брали гида, но в целом, можно смело идти самим, нам не показалась дорога до всех 3 ех водопадов сложная. Утром ещё успели съездить в Ловину, тоже было удобно совместить. Будь осторожны с дорогой, так как серпантин до отеля. И гораздо холоднее, чем возле океана. По пути встречаются собаки с очень ужасном состоянии, брали корм с собой.

Огромное количество комаров в номере. При заезде, включили раптор. Он помог, так как на кровати после раптора лежала куча дохлых комаров. Но все равно меня покусали в кровати. Ну и что касается насекомых, их много! В ванну залетали жуки, огромные пчелы. В ресторане тоже много насекомых, но это неудивительно, так как они летят на свет. Я очень боюсь насекомых, поэтому для меня это вариант на 1 раз. Кому-то наверное нормально.

this is amazing place! The cabins are well-maintained and have a great design. Everything is super clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, the area is quiet the view is amazing, and the pool is big and clean the staff are super nice people. it was rainy, so we watched the TV and felt like home - cosy and safe! we also booked a guide from the hotel to do the Sekumpul hiking, and it was a memorable experience. highly recommended!

I liked how the breakfast was freshly made. And there were different options. The view at the property is amazing!! They also offert me a fresh welcome drink. The staff is very warm and friendly.

There was a bid cockroach in my bathroom window the first day. The came to remove it but it was very clean. Because you are in the middle of nature and the houses are of wood you also get some visitors like birds tapping on the wood and making noice. So its not all relaxation because it wakes you up. The wifi didn’t work in my room as they have mentioned and the road to get to the property is very long, not everywhere well maintained and it’s very remote.

Kui külastuste Sekumpuli juga, siis kindlasti soovitan siin ööbida. Pikendasime oma peatumist veel üheks ööks, et lihtsalt istuda basseini ääres ja nautida seda vaadet, mis avaneb! Abivalmis ja üliviisakas personal, puhtad ja hubased kämpingumajad, lõpmatuse bassein vaatega mägedele ja džunglisse, maitsev hommikusöök ja võimalus samas ka õhtust süüa. Sekmpuli juga on 20 min jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Tundub, et ka ilm on siin kandis ilus, sest kui igal pool mujal sadas, paistis meil päike, ehkki oli vihmahooaeg.

Majutuses meeldis kõik. Rolleriga lõuna poolt kohale sõites tuleb arvestada käänulise mägiteega ja järskude kurvidega.

El hotel en si muy bien, la cama algo dura pero cómoda en sí, el baño bien, buena presión de agua. La ubicación muy cerca de la cascada pero para mi gusto, es para 1 noche o poco mas. Cerca hay como pueblecitos, gente muy amable y te ayuda en todo.

Para llegar, si vas en moto en complicado, estas en montaña, asi que no es una carretera fácil y menos si llueve

Идеальное место! Фото не передают как там красиво вокруг! Есть бассейн (прохладный, правда). Там же можно покушать. На ресепшене дали контакты гида на водопад (гид конечно там не нужен, но стоит копейки и оч красиво пофотал нас!

Krásný, klidný hotel poblíž vodopádů s naprosto nádherným výhledem jak na hory tak na moře. Krásný, čistý pokoj, dobré snídaně a nádherná terasa s velkým bazénem, ve kterém se dá zaplavat nebo jen tak odpočívat. Večeře byly taky dobré, ale v Amedu u moře nám chutnalo o něco víc. Určitě bych se tam znovu vrátil.

Při rezervaci jsem se ptal na dostupnost skútrů na hotelu a bylo mi řečeno, že skútry půjčují. Po příjezdu nám bylo oznámeno, že mají jen jeden a ten je již rezervován. Naštěstí jsme si mohli skútr půjčit asi 100 nad hotelem u sympaťáka za super cenu.

Dobrá dostupnost k vodopádům, dá se k nim dojít pohodlně pěšky. Když se zmíníte personálu, že jdete na Sekumpul vodopády, dají vám ID kartičku a místo 250k/os vstup vyjde na 30k/osoba. Pokoje i okolí hotelu čisté. Z bazénu i ubytování jsou krásné výhledy do přírody. Personál nápomocný a velmi milý. Možnost půjčení skútru za pěkné ceny. Snídaně Balijská klasika, dobré ale nenadchnou, stejně jako zbytek kuchyně :).

Window/Glass Ceiling in the shower - that was definitely what my hubby & I (Wife's writing the review lol) enjoyed the most from their facilities/room features. And it is close to go to the Hanging Restaurant/Cafe where you can see the beautiful waterfall.

Internet was super slow to non-existing, even though it mentioned "High Speed Internet" on Booking.com payment info, the pool looks dirty/slimy and awareness of the security of our room. We were asked to leave our room key when we left for sightseeing in the morning, when returned in the evening (about 12 hours later) - receptionist wasn't able to find our key. It was only found it was hanging on the door, which must have been left when housekeeping team went in in the morning and left without locking our door. So DO NOT leave your valuable items in the room.
