I HAD AN AWFUL SITUATION AND THEY LIED TO ME! THEY OWE ME MONEY AND DISAPPEARED. After arriving to the hotel late at night we realised we couldn’t stay there. There was not staff and the reception so we just opened the door, saw everything and left. Right after we sent a message to the property through booking.com: “We have just arrived. This room is right next to the kitchen. It is 3 am in the morning, people are speaking, coughing and it is way too loud. It will not be possible to sleep! People are speaking quietly it is not their fault! The location of the room is horrible. Moreover, the walls are way too thin!!! We really regret we booked and we are not staying.” Next day they messaged me back and said they would give me a refund. I waited. Since then - no money. Also they stopped answering my messages

Ubytování předčilo má očekávání. Recenze které se pojí na toto ubytování jsou staré a patří do období kdy tento komplex vlastnil jiný majitel. Celý objekt je rekonstruovaný a odpovídá fotkám které prezentují. zůstali jsme zde s přítelkyní jednu noc jako zkušební a po jedné noci jsme tady zůstaly na další měsíc a půl. personál je příjemný a přátelský a vždy se snaží pomoct. Vše bylo čisté a voňavé. A určitě se sem zase budu s radostí a beze strachu vracet. Děkuji za krásný měsíc a půl na tomto ubytování.

postel v mém ubytování byla trochu tvrdší a šli v ní cítit pružiny. ale určitě bych to nějak nerozváděl. zůstal jsem zde měsíc a půl a vždy jsem se krásně vyspal

Good rooms and central location

Nice hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. The place was always clean and well maintained, and the service was great. The only downside was that smell in the washroom was terrible , but overall it was a pleasant stay.

La piscine, le lit très confortable, l’emplacement (pas trop de bruit). Le personnel, surtout Ari, était vraiment très aimable et de bons conseils !

Aunque estaba alejado de Canggu, estaba realmente cerquita, como a 10 mins en moto. Solo había un paseo en moto entre el hotel y Canggu, y así te quitabas de ruidos de gente. El lugar era muy tranquilo, las zonas comunes muy chulas, la piscina muy chula también. la habitación, aunque pequeña, era cómoda la cama.

La habitación era muy pequeña, aunque era práctica. El baño también muy pequeño y cuando te sentabas en el wc te dabas con el lavabo, así que te tenías que sentar de lado. En la habitación había unas manchas en la pared que eran restos nasales (mocos) de alguien que no quiso usar el papel higiénico, así que no revisaron todo bien.

I stayed here for one month in a single room. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and they really tried to help with anything I needed—many thanks to them. I stayed in a ground-floor room. It was small but nice. The only downside was that the bathroom had no door and opened directly into the bedroom, which might be fine if you’re staying alone. There were sometimes ants in the room, but that’s quite normal in Bali and it didn’t really bother me. The location is convenient—about a 10-12 minute scooter ride to popular spots in Canggu, and you can also avoid some of the traffic from there. The pool is nice, definitely usable. There is a shared kitchen, but there weren’t many utensils like forks and knives available. Overall, I would recommend it as a good value-for-money place.

Comfortable and affordable stay away from the main chaos of Canggu. Few nice places close by two. I stayed here just before heading to the airport and was perfect place to relax and chill out. The pool and room were pretty nice.

The place seems to be under construction at the moment, I was also the only guest staying here at the time and the staff left for the evening at 5, there’s no gate or anything like that, so I didn’t feel the safest staying here by myself.

Great place for when you want to travel on a budget, but also don’t want to sleep in typical hostels. Rooms were clean, pool was amazing!

bathroom doors didn’t close, and maybe a bigger mirror in a room would be a good idea, but that’s just a small detail

Nothing is like on the pictures, I don’t understand people that appreciate this “HOSTEL”

I was only here for one night yet it was a pleasant experience, I liked the shared kitchen and having my own room, the air con was good too. And ofcourse what I saw of the staff they were very kind and helpful.

In the shared kitchen in the fridge there were loads of flies inside the fridge so I tried to figure out why because I wanted to put stuff in there. It seemed someone had left there food in there I opened the box and there were flies all over it, it was rotten. I understand it is a guests fault for leaving it in there yet there could be some cleaning standards in terms of the staff checking things like the fridge and freezer as people may forget that they've put stuff in there because that was definitely a health hazard. Once I put the box in the bin the flies went. The shower over the toilet was abit awkward too, yet it is a budget accomodation so its good for the cost really.

Nudi was a really nice person and very friendly :) it was a real pleasure to meet him

The staff were friendly. Quiet venue. Good outdoor dining area. Hot showers. Nice, clean pool.

No pillowcases or towels were provided on arrival, but when requested, tatty old towels (with holes) + pillowcases were promptly received. Community kitchen fridge didn't close/seal + needed a thorough clean. Staff were too relaxed, leaving their cigarettes + food in guest areas. They didn't appear to spend much time cleaning up the place. I had to clean up the shower we used, of matted hair over the drain + finally disposed of an old, used shampoo or body wash packet that had been there for the 4 days we stayed. Simple things they could have easily done, whilst managing the small venue. Ensuite toilet was very cramped, and difficult to get in and out of. Aircon was very good, but too cold to sleep with it on, so, for us, was hot each night when sleeping. Overall, you got what you paid for at such a budget price.

The pool is nice, the staff were very friendly. Good value for money. Air con was powerful.

The facilities are basic. Bathroom was small and smelly. The toilet didn’t have a seat and the shower was directly over the toilet.

The staffs were really helpful and nice! The kitchen area was neat and useful too. Great location as well.

The beds are not comfortable. Hope they could change or fix that.

Fanstastic, friendly Staff, ac in the room, good garden to chill in and a nice and surprisingly deep pool, good value for money as well, and very close to Bali MMA if anyone’s into training martial arts !

The people are very nice and friendly. However, the room is really old. The shower looks terrible—no soap, no shower gel, nothing at all. But the worst part? I got bitten by bedbugs all over in just one night. I have at least 20 bites, and it’s absolutely awful. I do not recommend staying here.

Ari and siladewi are really super nice!! thanks to them the stay was perfect in addition to the top super !!

basic stay

I was moved from another property and falsely charged double for this place. Booking.com's customer service made the refund process super complicated and I ended up losing 400K. It was my mistake to trust the staff and book through Booking.com. I will not recommend either Five Rooms or Nomad Tropical Hostel. Moving on to Agoda from now on. Ciao

Staff were friendly and the area is quiet and relaxed.

Beds are kind of old and crammed together, big issue with bed bugs, the toilet wasnt that great and the showers outside could do with an upgrade.

The wifi was included. The pool was really nice to sit by in the humidity. The ocean is only a 2k walk away. Grocery/ veg market just around the corner, a 2 min walk. Love it there is a kitchen to cook in. This histel has everything I like at a great price

The people who works there so warm, friendly and helpful. Viana, ari , everybody so good people. Cleaning is good. Nice kitchen. Rooms are well. Nice , comfy place to stay. This was my second time. And there will be more and more.

Friendly staff, cute friendly cat, able to use kitchen facilities to cook, the pool area was nice to relax in, close to a good coffee shop, able to get grabs easily to wherever.

I had the double room and there was no hot water in my shower. I had to use the outside showers, which was fine but I expected hot water available in my own shower.

Value for money. Good location. Viana,Ari and Ilham were very helpful and friendly as well. They were quite responsive to my request during my stay. Thanks guys.

Very friendly staff.. Viana & Ari were fantastic.

The staff were great, very friendly and check-in was smooth. There’s motorbike rental at the property starting at 90K per day. Includes a swimming pool, kitchen and a good hang-out space.

It could be a little bit cleaner in the bathrooms and toilet.

I'd definitely recommend the Digital Nomad Hostel Canggu to fellow digital nomads and travelers looking for a social and convenient place to stay in Canggu.

Lovely staff. Kitchen is a big plus in case you want to cook at home.

the noise...every night till 4-5am the longterm guests party. Plenty of guests complaint but nothing was done. I'm just one of many who ended up leaving because of it.

I had a fantastic stay at nomad hostel! The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, close to the beach . I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Bali

It is the best Hostel for me. I loved everything there. the chill atmosphere the people that felt for me like my family. it's such a friendly hostel with great staff. Rio, Ari and Ilham are the best guys. They are always so helpful and so friendly. I have to leave in couple days and it is literally breaking my heart that I have to say goodbye to those wonderful people. Beds were comfortable and it was also peaceful. We were cooking in the kitchen and sometimes even eating all together. it's really amazing there. Also it's quite dangerous, as soon as you get used to this place you kinda stuck there and don't wanna leave at all. 🙈

The beds was really uncomfortable. They have kind of hole on the middle of the mattress making it really hard to sleep. Also the fridge was way dirty and with no spot for our foods. Just giving you guys a feedback hoping that the nexts guests can enjoy more the space. Apparently the rest of the guests were living there, so we could see heaps of bags and lose stuff on the middle of the bedroom.
