Merzouga Berbers Luxury Camp

Was uns an unserem Aufenthalt am meisten gefallen hat, war das tolle Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Alles war sauber, komfortabel und gut organisiert, und das Personal hat sich wirklich viel Mühe gegeben, unseren Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Besonders schön waren die Quad-Tour durch die Dünen und der Kamelritt, bei dem wir die Wüstenlandschaft ganz in Ruhe erleben konnten. Das Zelt war wunderschön und komfortabel, und der gesamte Aufenthalt war viel besonderer, als wir erwartet hatten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Wahl und würden das Camp jedem empfehlen, der die Sahara besucht.

Ons verblijf hier was echt een prachtige ervaring. Omringd zijn door de gouden duinen en de zonsondergang boven de Sahara zien was onvergetelijk. De kamelentocht door de duinen was een echte aanrader, terwijl de quadrit voor de nodige spanning en plezier zorgde. Ook de jeeptour was geweldig, vooral het bezoek aan nomadische families en het ontdekken van de lokale cultuur. Het kamp was rustig, de tent was schoon en comfortabel en het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. We genoten van de ontspannen sfeer en het gevoel helemaal weg te zijn van alles. Een bijzondere plek om van de Sahara te genieten.

Purtroppo non essendoci prese in camera puoi caricare i dispositivi nella capanna centrale dove si cena, la cosa che nn mi è piaciuta è che non mi hanno fatto asciugare i capelli essendo la corrente non così potente..consiglierei di avvisare gli ospiti per evitare che si rimanga con i capelli bagnati la notte soprattutto se si arriva tardi al campo e ci si vuole fare una doccia.

No entiendo las reseñas positivas de este campamento, sinceramente nuestra experiencia ha sido bastante mala desde el principio. Elegimos la opción de ir al campamento en quad, pero en lugar de eso nos dieron unas vueltas cerca del pueblo y luego nos llevaron en Jeep, sin ninguna explicación. No fue lo que habíamos contratado ni lo que esperábamos. Al llegar al campamento, vimos que algunas tiendas tenían candado y otras no. Pedimos uno y nos dieron dos en mal estado que ni siquiera cerraban. Ignoraron completamente nuestra petición. La cena fue muy decepcionante: poca cantidad y de mala calidad. Nos sirvieron un tajine para cuatro personas de berenjena con queso que estaba avinagrado, y luego una bandeja con unas pocas patas de pollo, arroz y verduras, todo frío y con mal sabor. Además, nos pusieron solo una botella de agua para cuatro personas y, cuando pedimos otra, nos dijeron que tenía suplemento, mientras veíamos mesas de dos con la misma cantidad de agua. La amabilidad brilló por su ausencia. Tanto al pedir el candado como el agua, la actitud del personal fue bastante desagradable. Si buscas tranquilidad, este no es el lugar. Había un split de calefacción que no funcionaba y nos dijeron que no había calefacción y que, si queríamos, teníamos que pagar 300 euros extra. La forma en que nos lo dijeron fue bastante borde, como si estuviésemos pidiendo algo absurdo. Pasamos mucho frío durante la noche. La tienda era muy básica, con paja y poco más. De “lujo” no tenía absolutamente nada, básica y decadente Para rematar, cuando mi pareja pidió la calefacción, uno de los chicos le respondió de muy malas formas. Y al día siguiente, en el desayuno, ese mismo chico ni siquiera respondió al saludo.

The sunset camel ride out to the camp was lush. Just a great way to enter the desert. The camp was lovely, our tent was spacious and comfortable and had lovely view of the dunes from comfy chairs by our tent. The dining area was lovely, it was a real treat going for dinner there. After dinner the drummers played, and they even gave a few of us a go on the drums afterwards. They organised our trips the next day during dinner, I highly recommend the quad bikes into the dunes!

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het woestijnkamp, omringd door prachtige gouden duinen het voelde als een droom. De kamelentocht was echt een bucketlist-ervaring en een van de hoogtepunten van onze reis. De hosts waren ontzettend gastvrij en lieten ons ons meteen thuis voelen. Een jongeman genaamd Ali liet ons zien hoe we traditionele percussie-instrumenten konden bespelen, wat een leuke en unieke ervaring was. Zijn oom was een uitstekende fotograaf en maakte prachtige foto’s van ons in de woestijn en bij een rustige oase. Hij nam ons ook mee naar een nomadenkamp en een Berbers dorp, wat echt een eyeopener was en veel culturele waarde toevoegde aan ons verblijf. We zijn erg dankbaar voor hun vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid. Zeker een aanrader.

Piccolo accampamento, molto curato, pulitissimo. Molto romantico. Ottime cena e colazione. Molto ben organizzati l'arrivo in cammello ed il ritorno in jeep. Personale accogliente, disponibile, servizievole e simpatico. La serata di canti e balli attorno al fuoco è stata proprio piacevole.

Unique experience. Warm and friendly people. Clean tents. The singing around the fire moment was very beautiful. Some foods I liked a lot (the vegetable tagine was absolutely delicious), some were pretty basic but all in all good value for money and many foods to choose from. Going to the desert is a unique experience anyway and definitely worth it. We discussed transfer to the desert options (camel/atv/jeep), transfer prices and meeting place and time via private message. We chose the camel ride to the camp (about one hour with one stop for sunset) and return by jeep which cost us €60 per person. The camels looked well taken care of.

My only mention would be that the USB charger in the tent was not working but we managed to charge our phones in the kitchen area during the day.

Na začátek bych rád řekl, že nevím jak to tu vypadá v hlavní letní sezóně, my tu byly na Štědrý den. První věc, doprava na místo údajně možná pouze jeepem, na velbloudovi, nebo na čtyřkolce s cenou a cestou tam a zpět za 60, nebo 80 € (podle toho jakou kombinaci si zvolíte). Realita je, že se sem dostanete vlastním 4×4 vozem za 15 minut z nedaleké vesnice. Popis na Bookingu mluví o 12 km cestě do kempu, kdy realita jsou necelé 2 km velbloudem. Zároveň je Vám slíbena zastávka na velbloudech při západu slunce, o kterou když si neřeknete a téměř nevyhádáte, tak nemáte. Nutno říct, že západ slunce je z nedalekých dun opravdu magický. Po ubytování do "luxusního" kempu, bohužel zjišťujete další nedostatky a nepravdy oproti popisu na Bookingu. Teplá voda? Není, pouze studená a do toho teče z koupelnové hadice bez koncovky. Vysokorychlostní internet? Ze začátku internet nefungoval vůbec, večer naběhl, ale určitě nebyl zmiňovaný vysokorychlostní. Vana na pokoji? Nebyla, pouze sprchový kout se změněnou ani né vlažnou, ale studenou vodou. O županech se ani nezmiňuji. Co si zaslouží pochvalu je večeře a snídaně a celkový servis a přístup personálu, ten byl OK. Večerní oheň byl pro mě, jako pro baťůžkáře, turistu, trackera a milovníka táboráku také zklamáním. Zapalovat oheň litrem benzínu a plamen jím v průběhu přikrmovat, mi přijde strašné. Závěrem nevím, jestli jsme byly vyjímkou oproti ostatním zdejším recenzím a prostě jsme měli smůlu, nebo jde o standard, který málokdo řekne, nebo řeší hned na místě. Každopádně nebýt západu slunce a jídla, pro nás spíše podprůměrný zážitek, který nebudeme nikomu doporučovat.

Die Übernachtung war von Anfang bis Ende fantastisch. Ik had tijdens de reservering aan gegeven dat ik glutenvrij moet eten en heb gevraagd of dat er iets mogelijk zou zijn , bij aankomst bleek daar nooit over iets over gemeld te zijn . En als je een douche boekt is het fijn als er ook wat water liefst warm uit de kraan komt.

We enjoyed every moment, from quad biking, sandboarding, and camel rides to camping under the stars, dancing around the campfire, and watching the sunrise and sunset over the dunes. Un lugar increíble en pleno desierto con un servicio excepcional. Lo único que lamento es no haber podido quedarme más tiempo. El campamento también cuenta con una maravillosa fogata donde los huéspedes pueden reunirse y disfrutar del ambiente. Escuchamos que alguien se quejó del ruido, pero sinceramente, si hay una fogata, la gente se reúne, disfruta de la música y crea un ambiente animado. Sería útil que el personal lo mencionara en las normas para evitar malentendidos. La comida estaba deliciosa, llena de auténticos sabores bereberes, y el servicio fue excepcional. This was our best experience in Morocco! Truly exceptional service and hospitality. The tents were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The activities were a perfect mix, with the sunset camel ride being a real highlight. I had an amazing time in the desert with this luxury camp— by far the best camp and highly recommended!

C'était l'un des endroits les plus merveilleux que j'aie jamais visités ! Avec ces immenses dunes, j'ai eu la chance de monter à dos de chameau pour la première fois. J'étais tellement excitée de le voir gravir ces dunes avec une telle facilité. Si vous devez essayer, c'est comme si vous n'aviez jamais visité le désert de Merzouga. J'ai aussi fait une balade en 4x4, ce qui était tout aussi incroyable. Quand le chauffeur a pris le volant en montée, on ressentait une certaine appréhension, car on ne savait pas ce qui allait suivre. J'ai aussi fait du sandboard. J'ai rencontré des gens qui ont eu la gentillesse de me fournir du matériel. C'était une expérience très agréable !

Continuate a rotolare sulle dune di sabbia, potrebbero essere i ricordi più belli che possiate creare in questo regno, in questo paese meraviglioso.

Wir haben in diesem wunderschönen Camp übernachtet. Sie haben für uns eine Fahrt mit dem Dünenbuggy von der nächsten Stadt in die Wüste organisiert, wo sich unsere Camps befanden. Es war ein Abenteuer, mit dem Buggy durch die Dünen zu fahren und die malerische Aussicht zu genießen. Man konnte sogar Sandboarding machen. Es war eine tolle Nacht dort.

This camp was superb for a number of reasons. First, the Moroccan hospitality was 10/10; three brothers (Ali , Hamid, and Said) run the camp and took care of our every need while being incredibly responsive. The price on booking.com is for the tent only and then you pay extra for activities. We enjoyed the sunset camel ride, day tour of local attractions, and quad rental on the way out of camp. A surprising plus was the quality of the food. The tagines were superb and better than you’ll find at many restaurants around Morocco. At night, we gathered around the fire for a few songs before enjoying the peace and quiet and the countless stars. This is one of the legitimate camps inside the desert and away from the town of Merzouga. it is a beautiful location. I recommend it for everyone.

The tents are very characteristic and charming, as well as comfortable: double bed was great, shower was extremely comfortable (good water flow and temperature easily adjusted). Dinner was good and the musician working in the camp are extremely skilled and very friendly. We also got some music & culture "lessons"! Just great. Words cannot describe the location: waking up and seeing the Sahara dunes cannot be explained.

An amazing experience - great views, very clean and equipped tents, lovely food and an exceptional 4x4 tour. By far one of the best camps around in the area. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay. They had some great stories and recommendations - we hope to be back soon

service, great food, and comfortable stay in a tent. Driver (ask for Hamid) was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke English very well. ATV/buggy, sandboarding, and camel rides at sunrise or sunset were incredible excursions. Worth the long travel to experience the Sahara Desert with this camp.

Our first time in Merzouga desert, at first we thought it would be difficult for us to get there, but after booking, the Manger of this camp sent us message on WhatsApp and explained everything to us and sent us to the meeting point. We met there. we rode camels in the middle of the desert to the camp, we spent an unforgettable night.

We booked a private luxury tent in this beautiful camp, The manger sent us the meeting point at Merzouga, We reached at Merzouga around 4:30 pm. The camels were ready to take us. However our camel took 1.5 hrs to reach the camp. On the way to camp we enjoyed the magnificent Sunset. They served the dinner at 7:30 pm. Food was truly amazing and delicious. After the dinner the campfire started. The Moroccan culture and the songs were so soothing. After the night no one should miss the splendid Sunrise, After breakfast we returned by jeep from the camp to Merzouga.

The best thing you can do in Morocco is to spend a night in the desert Merzouga it is a very beautiful place we loved it very much and we hope to visit it again we only spent one night there and we rode camels with a friendly guide who spoke English and we stopped in the middle of the desert to take pictures with the sunset which looked amazing and we continued our trip to the camp and they welcomed us very much and our tent was very clean dinner and breakfast were nice, We had a lovely time around the fire and it was an unforgettable experience. We hope to visit this place again.

The camel ride to the camp was a great experience. The camel ride with Ali was so much fun and we took a lot of pictures in the middle of the desert. When we arrived at the camp we were welcomed with something and sweets. When we had dinner we had a great time around the fire, In the morning after breakfast we returned by jeep from the camp to Merzouga.

Spectacular, everything, the organization by Ali, always present for information and communications, camel ride, tented camp among the dunes very clean and wonderful welcome from the guys, delicious dinner and breakfast, fantastic evening bonfire with music and songs, excursion in the desert proposed to us and carried out by jeep, the peace and silence, sunset and sunrise, the stars, everything really fantastic, highly recommended.
