Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Un soggiorno davvero meraviglioso! I proprietari Hanna e Johan sono stati due padroni di casa fantastici: gentilissimi, disponibili e super ospitali. È stato un piacere fare due chiacchiere con loro e ricevere tanti consigli e informazioni utili sulla zona. La casa è semplicemente bellissima e super attrezzata. Non sembra nemmeno di soggiornare in un B&B, ma di entrare nella casa di qualcuno: ogni dettaglio è curato con attenzione e non manca davvero nulla. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo anche tutti i prodotti e le piccole attenzioni lasciate a disposizione degli ospiti. Ci hanno anche dato la possibilità di utilizzare i kayak e fare un giro sul lago vicino alla casa, un’esperienza davvero bellissima! La posizione è incantevole: un luogo tranquillo, immerso nella natura, con un paesaggio che sembra uscito da una cartolina. Svegliarsi con la vista sul lago è semplicemente spettacolare. Ci siamo sentiti davvero a casa e porteremo con noi un bellissimo ricordo di questo soggiorno. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca qualche giorno di pace, natura e un’accoglienza speciale.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Große, sehr hochwertige und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, perfekt ausgestattet ....richtig zum Wohlfühlen!! Große gemütliche Betten, voll ausgestattete Küche und nachts absolut ruhig. Schöne Terrasse.
Wir hätten uns noch einen Tisch vor der Holzbank auf der Terrasse gewünscht um dort mit dem schönen Blick Abend essen zu können. Sonst alles suuuuuper!!

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026En fantastisk opplevelse, fra ankomst til avreise! Leiligheten var stor, romslig, ryddig og svært hyggelig. Vertene har laget en egen bok om huset, som heter Orrviken BnB og ligger tilgjengelig på kaffebordet på stua. Den ga et flott innblikk i tanken bak plassen, med detaljer som beskrivelse av hvordan de har gjort hagen bie- og insektvennlig både med tanke på hva som er plantet der og at gresset ikke klippes unødvendig. Det er så flott at noen faktisk tar et standpunkt til dette, og Hanna med familie lever opp til dette til fulle! En annen ting som er verdt å nevne, er STILLHETEN! Det er - helt bevisst valgt det også - ikke TV i leiligheten, og det ga umiddelbart en ro, stillhet og balanse som man (vi ihvert fall) gjerne savner i hverdagen. Vi fikk senket skuldrene umiddelbart, og fruen og jeg satt og nøt hverandres selskap i ro og fred. En morsom liten detalj som jeg aldri har reflektert over før: jeg er 63 år gammel, og la merke til at i den fredelige stillheten i leiligheten så kunne jeg høre knirkingen i mine egne ledd når jeg reiste meg, gikk rundt i leiligheten, eller satt meg. Dette var svært fortellende om i hvilken grad det var stille på stedet! Jeg legger til at vinduer og vegger (svært flott oppussing og vedlikehold!) var så godt isolert at selv traktoren som kjørte forbi utenfor vinduet var uhørbar. En annen veldig hyggelig detalj som de skriver om i boken om huset: ca 150-200 meter, ut døren og til høyre i en veldig rolig og flott allé, ligger Orrviken Bua, en liten dagligvare av typen "landsens kolonial", med litt utvalg av mye forskjellig mat, drikke, toalettsaker og annet man trenger i hverdagen. Hanna og familien poengterer i boken viktigheten av å benytte seg av sin lokale landhandel, da de er avhengige av handel for å kunne holde butikktilbudet åpent! Kudos til Hanna med familie og lokalområdet forøvrig for tankesettet bak dette! Verdt å merke er også at både på kjøkkenet og badet er det fylt opp rikelig med ting man måtte ha behov...

Las vistas son maravillosas y estás a 10-20 min de la ciudad y aún más cerca de reservas naturales. Además Hanna y Johan fueron super amables y nos dieron mucha información útil para nuestro viaje.
Como mucho si alguien quiere que haya TV, tened en cuenta que no hay. Pero realmente no se echa en falta pues es un lugar perfecto para desconectar y disfrutar de la naturaleza.

Reviewed Oct 11, 2025The view is very beautiful, and we liked that there’s EV charging available. The apartment is well-equipped and close to nature with hiking trails, making it a perfect retreat. The hosts are incredibly friendly, and the decorations add a lovely touch to the cosy atmosphere.
Heating up the rooms could take some time, especially with the open living room.

Sie ist freundlich, gemütlich und mit allen denkbaren praktischen Details eingerichtet und orientiert auf einen nachhaltigen Lebensstil. Mit ihrer großen Fläche sowie Terrasse mit Gartenzugang erfüllt sie alle Wünsche der Gäste. Der Kontakt zu den nebenan wohnenden Vermietern war sehr nett.

Johan and Hana, along with their family, were incredibly generous and hospitable hosts, making us feel right at home. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and cozy, providing a peaceful retreat in a phenomenal area. The city is conveniently located less than 20 minutes away by car, and the lake is easily accessible either by walking or driving. This is a place we will always remember fondly and highly recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Lovely view and easy to find. Met the host on arrival who was helpful and friendly and even gave my hubby a whiskey .. which went down very well !! Shame we were only there one night. Would definitely book again if we are in this area again. Would recommend staying here

It was a wonderful sight to see the sun set behind the mountains of Bydalen and Åre. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Exceptional price/quality. Reviewed Apr 18, 2023This place of Hanna and Johan is one of the best accommodations we ever had (since we've visited 58 countries so far). We felt like good friends of our hosts. Finally they made this absolutely marvelous apartment as a part of their house. Neighbourhood of Orrviken is so relaxing, full of calm and beautiful landscapes. Moose Garden what was our main reason to visit this region made our stay full of magic - like we've travelled to different, better planet in the universe. Apartment is so spacious with extra bedroom, focussed on eco lifestyle. View for the lake and mountains what we enjoy all the time, made us sad when time to check-out has come. Definitely, 2 days was not enough. In the city there is a small grocery shop with everything you need. But the most lovely you can meet there are moose. For sure, we want to back there again!
That's so easy to find 1000 things we like but to find even a one small thing we could not like is impossible. This place is too amazing to find anything uncomfortable.
