The room had no AC, fan, or traditional glass windows. I booked a larger bed for two, but it was small and hard. The room is right next to the street and very loud. The mini bar was definitely a cash grab with very limited options. The bathroom had no window or vents. It felt like a shoebox with no airflow. I basically hated this hotel. Parking off the street involved a massive staircase climb and there was no one to help with luggage. The room included a massage, but the staff never mentioned it, and I forgot to use it. Very expensive for what you get. Last time I stayed at a hostel for 1/6th the price and the location and room was better. I never write bad reviews but this hotel deserved one purely based on the property.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Het hotel was prima gelegen. Je kon gezellig het dorp in wandelen. Het ontbijt was echt super en allemaal vers en persoonlijk voor je klaargemaakt. Heerlijke massage gehad. Cocora vallei en koffieplantages zijn een aanrader om te bezoeken.
Het bed was erg smal voor ons. In de vroege ochtend om 5.30 uur galmt het Ave Maria vanuit de kerk over het dorp. Dan komt het dorp ook meteen in actie. In het weekend is het erg druk.

No A/C or room fan meant we needed to leave the windows open to cool the room which resulted in mosquitos, their bites were especially itchy and persisted to be for a number of days after we were bitten. Not the hotel’s fault we didn’t think to apply repellent but if we had some sort of cooling option for the room we’d not needed the windows to be opened for long periods

The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was varied, delicious, and served in generous portions, and the staff incredibly helpful in organising activities around Salento. We particularly enjoyed the spa and the jacuzzi under the stars. The thoughtful details throughout the stay made a real difference — we loved the selection of chocolates in the room and the high-quality L'Occitane toiletries.

Reviewed May 16, 2026It was our second time in Salento and this is by far the best accommodation you can get in Salento. It is pretty quite here - no big streets close to the hotel. Delicious breakfast, free 30min massage and very nice stuff. The beds are super comfortable and the shower has HOT water. We also loved the public area/garden from the hotel. It is very relaxing and quite, where you can relax outside after the cocora valley tour - without feeling the need to hang around in the town.

Nuestra habitación daba hacia la calle que lleva a uno de los miradores, por lo que hubo algo de ruido en ciertos horarios, aunque esto no afectó nuestro descanso.

Le jacuzzi ainsi que le petit-déjeuner sont très appréciables. Il est également possible de profiter de massages au spa, ce qui est un vrai plus. Nous avons aussi reçu un cocktail de bienvenue, une attention très agréable. Tout était parfait, je recommande vivement !
Seul point d’amélioration : la présence d’un menu physique serait appréciée, car tous les menus étaient accessibles uniquement via un lien.

The offered us a complementary couple massage for 30 mins and we extended that for another 30 mins for a reasonable price. Highly recommend. The toiletries were all well selected - they had products from L'Occitaine that were a very good touch to our experience. A special mention for the breakfast. It was delicious, and they were so kind to prepare the breakfast based on our preferences earlier than usual because we had a day trip planned. Jorge and John were expectional great hosts. I would highly recommend staying at this hidden gem.

All’arrivo siamo stati accolti da un cocktail di benvenuto e ci hanno prenotato un massaggio gratuito di mezz’ora e 1 ora di Jacuzzi. La camera era molto carina e pulita, ottima la colazione.
