The best place you could stay in Kerry. Wonderful house, Joan and Johnny the hosts are such nice people and the location is great. The house is extremely clean and has everything you need in a house and more. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to do the Ring of Kerry.

The property and contents were pristine. Abundant supply of household supplies. Hot water at all times. The hosts went out of their way to ensue all was well.

If there were anything, it would be the shower room. Shower not very strong but this is a SMALL criticism given the age of property.

The place was clean, well kept and everything was available. The cereals and milk were a nice touch. The John explained a lot about the area and was very welcoming.

Very clean and well equipped. Plenty of space. Friendly & helpful hosts. Short drive to 2 beautiful beaches: Banna Strand and Ballyheigue Beach.

Quaint house, plenty big enough for the four of us and immaculately clean.

There was everything you could want in the cottage,including soaps,shampoo,conditioner,every. Cupboard you opened there was something else to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

The cleanliness and the size of the cottage,and of course Joan and John who could have not made us feel more welcome.

This is a rather lavish little house: two sun porches, at front and back, with soft chairs for reading, and a kitchen with dining-table room/laundry room as well as the comfortable living room. The cottage is on a main road some way out from the town of Ballyheigue; you must make a very sharp turn into its front yard through a gap in the wall right by the road, and we initially had trouble spotting the turnoff. Once in, we three adults slept fine on rather firm beds in two bedrooms, a regular one and one with a big bed and a smaller one. The hosts stocked the kitchen with nice supplies, including a welcome carton of milk, and one of them, Johnny, came over twice to check on us and chat, giving us valuable advice on how to start exploring the Dingle Peninsula, our main goal in the neighbourhood. A very nice stay.

The property was beautiful and private and quiet. It exceeded our expectations. The hosts left some food supplies to get us started which was much appreciated. Lovely sitting areas at front and back of cottage.

The booking was simple and straightforward. Johnny and Joan were fantastic hosts and a pleasure to deal with. Welcoming kind and very obliging. Everything you could need for a short or long stay was there for us. House is so so cosy and warm and Johnny had the fire lit for us. Amazing. Thank you so much to you both for taking us at short notice and for all your help. Will definitely stay here again.

Johnny and Joan are very good hosts! They welcomed us when we arrived. Everything was here: clean place, confortable beds, everything for the breakfast. And the place is very quiet.

Breakfast not included but milk cereals left for us plus lots of unexpected extras such as condiments washing products tea and coffee etc proper home from home

I loved Sheila's cottage! Johnny & Joan were amazing hosts, they really made us feel at home. Also perfect location, only a short drive from the beach. I will definetly visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Johnny and Joan were lovely hosts. They were very friendly and thought of everything in the property to make our stay so comfortable. We all had a great time and would highly recommend staying at Sheila’s Cottage in Ballyheigue.

Johnny and Joan were lovley hosts such cozy cottage..Well equipped and very clean would definitely stay here again.

The house was spacious, comfortable and private with two extra sunny spaces for us to enjoy, We liked that the house had every convenience and nothing was difficult to manage. There was even a washing machine and a clothes line. We enjoyed the sounds of the countryside esp the birdsong and the cows mooing. We slept well and felt safe. Bathroom was well supplied with bathing necessities and the towels were soft and fluffy. Generous breakfast supplies in the kitchen,-tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and at least four different types of cereal.

Everything was more nicer than I expected. So sparkling clean and comfortabe. Recommend for every one. 👌
