Close to Nature, Food and Hospitality.

We travelled with grown-up kids (10 & 17), they liked the place, surrounded by trees, not big enough to explore but can have a seat (10 *10 sq.ft). Unfortunately we have seen three to four wild - spiders (very big size 10x sizes than in our place) and multiple other bugs in our room and it scared the shit out of us. We found it in restroom and under the bed pillow. Planned for two days and cut short our trip the next day to avoid bug bites. Hospitality is great but that alone didn't help us much. We suggest people who travel (with kids and old people ) here please check the bed (over / under and inside pillow cover) for bugs. They don't offer free driver accommodation. No walk-by attraction other than falls but it is risky to climb down (even during drizzling days). Jeep trip is expensive and not worth but no choice. Home food is good. Overall we had an expensive, worrisome (scared), cut-short and unhappy trip overall. This is purely my experience.

The food was incredible very adapted to your needs and good quantities. And the hosts are very pendent of your needs. Very close to the village where everyone is really welcoming.

Really nice hosts, made everything to accommodate our needs! The region is also very nice and there are nice waterfalls a few minutes away by foot.

Host Rajagopal was amazing and so accommodating. Fed us and helped with any need or amenity instantly and with exceptional service. Couldn’t recommend more!

The Atmosphere was pleasant calm and enjoyable

Rajagopal, his wife and their family are very friendly, they treated us like one of their family. The first thing to say is about the delicious food they serve us. Chappathi and chicken curry and , chicken 65 very very delicious. This mud house is made of wood, soil, palm leaf, and darpa grass,they told ,very beautiful to see.To be honest, we felt like we should have stayed one more day. Thanku Mr.Rajagopal and Maya

Any family can live very comfortably.

Good wee cozy mud house in an easily accessible location. We used it as a night pad for one night and the stay was comfortable. Rajagopal and family are very nice and they will go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy the stay. We had chappathi and chicken curry for dinner and it was delicious, breakfast was also good. Amenities are basic like there is no shower etc, so if you are looking for resort like facilities, this may not be for you. It’s also off a fairly busy street, but you won’t hear any traffic past 9pm or so. Overall a pleasant stay with a lovely family.

Stayed on Nov 15-17 2024 with office colleagues. It was quite, nice stay. Host Mr. Rajagopal and his father has given good care especially giving homely tastey foods on our requests.

Good home made food at budget friendly cost. Mud house is a unique property surrounded by greenish forest.

Beds could be better.

A good host. Their family took good care of us. The food available there is delicious and homily food. There is a good water fall at a distance of 200 meters near the mud house. The host is a good singer. There is no need for a fan inside the mud house and it is very cool. The experience inside was the same as the people who lived in the past. Thank you sir

Awesome place, character of the house and the people are too nice.. I stayed for one night but that's not enough, I am planning to visit again...

The stay was exceptionally good. Special thanks to Rajagopal chettan & wife for treating us like their family. The food was awesome, you will get delicious homemade food as per your request and ontime. If you are someone who wants to try Mud house, this one will be a good choice.

It was such a wonderful stay at this property... The food was simple yet delicious... Rajagopal,the owner of the property was so friendly and took us to the nearby falls by a small trek which was tremendous.. we had the best time there and would again visit... I highly recommend this property...
