Malathro Olympus Guest House

We were biking the eurovuelo route and we stayed here. The location is perfect. You get a real sense of mount Olympus! The owner is great and very helpful. His English was excellent and he is a bicyclist so he was completely dialed in to our needs. The rooms were well stocked and clean. I actually can’t say enough good things about this place.

There was literally nothing that I didn’t love about this place!

הכל. הצוות מקסים וממש עוזר. החדרים גדולים, מרווחים ונקיים. יש שם מטבחון שאפשר לבשל בו (כיריים בלבד). מקלחת מצויינת, מיטה כל כך נוחה שלא מתחשק לצאת ממנה. ארוחת בוקר מוגשת לשולחן,נאבל אפשר לבקש תוספת או דברים ספציפיים ( אנחנו ביקשנו ארוחה צמחונית). היה מצויין שנשארנו לעוד יום.

Staff was exceptional, actually very friendly and thoughtful. The apartment was nice. Overall, no complaints. Quiet place near the archeological museum. The breakfast area was nice and the breakfast very good.

Parking space is a bit unorganized. If someone parks the wrong way puts the others in a difficult position. I chose to park on public road.

We had a fantastic time staying here! We traveled as a group of three families with kids aged 4 to 8, and this hotel turned out to be the absolute perfect base for our trip. We cannot recommend it highly enough. The true highlight of our stay was our host, Costas. He was exceptionally kind, warm, and attentive from the moment we arrived. His local knowledge is top-notch: every single restaurant, nearby hiking route, and local attraction he recommended was a total hit with both the adults and the kids. As for the hotel itself, it’s wonderful: •⁠ ⁠The Rooms: Modern, spotless, spacious, and remarkably well-maintained. Plenty of room for families with young children to spread out and relax. •⁠ ⁠The Location: Nestled in Dion, a small, authentic village near Mount Olympus. It’s ideal for anyone looking to explore the region without the overwhelming hustle of major tourist hubs. While quiet at night, the village has a decent selection of local taverns with great food, plus two supermarkets within easy walking distance. •⁠ ⁠The Food: Breakfast at the hotel is satisfying. Plus, if you're in the mood for traditional Greek pastries, there’s an incredible bakery just a 2-minute walk away. We were all very happy with our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. If you are planning a trip to the Mount Olympus area, book this place without hesitation!

O locatie noua, curata, confortabila in care personalul incearca sa fie cat mai util. Multumim Costas pentru toate sfaturile referitoare la activitati ce pot fi desfasurate. Recomandam cu drag persoanelor care vor sa incerce in acelasi concediu atat marea cat si muntele.

Gazda a fost foarte amabila, nu ne-a deranjat cu nimic, ne-a dat recomandări bune pentru plaje, locuri de vizitat, restaurante. Locatia este intr-o zona liniștită, camerele foarte curatate, prosoapele si lenjeria au fost schimbate des, chiar daca nu am cerut. Micul dejun suficient, bun, chiar daca meniul se repeta de la o zi la alta. Vom reveni cu placere ! Mulțumim, Costas !

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was exceptionally helpful, kind, and always available whenever we needed anything. He was also happy to help us organize trips to the mountains and gave us excellent recommendations, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, and everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area. The design of the room was WOW. Very comfortable space, the property clean and the view from the balcony of the Olympus was so exciting

We didn’t like the breakfast but I think it’s because we used to buffet that we serve our self and that there is more options.

És un aparthotel realment confortable. Molt ben equipat i molt maco. Molt a prop de l’acròpolis de Dion la qual val la pena visitar. Servei i esmorzar excel.lents.

Izuzetna pozicija, par kilometara sa autoputa, Ne samo da prespavate, vec mozete obici muzej i arheloski park. A mozete se okupati u obliznjim vodopadima. Personal veoma prijateljski. Dorucak odlican. Sve preporuke!

Very clean and quiet location, very good breakfast, host and his team amability. A lot of information related the interesting places to be visited in the area, about good food restaurants and other attractions (thanks Costas for your kindness). As well, for the ladies which are in charge with breakfast and cleaning: a very big Thank you, great job.

The warm hospitality from Melina and Kosta truly made our stay special. We loved the comfortable, spotless room, the delicious breakfast, the helpful local recommendations, and the perfect location within walking distance of Dion’s archaeological sites, restaurants, and beautiful waterfalls.

We stayed for four nights. There were seven of us—four adults and three children. The place is very beautiful, and you can set out from there on various trails. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean, and the stay was very enjoyable

We spent 12 nights and the time passed very fast thanks to the great team at Malathro. Very kind and helpful with tips and the small things that made our stay memorable such as anti slip mat for our son in the shower, very comfortable beds, great view from the balkony and every morning great breakfast

There werw two things that i can mention as potential to improve, the druvenin to the parking at the gueat house can be updated for lower cars could go in without scraping the bottom. The second thing was the dining table, though very modern in desing it was not comfortable for a 3 yearold.

Второй день нашего престоя,не было оставлена вода в холодильнике.В жаркие дни остаться без воды .Поздно вечером после нашего возврашения, не обнаружив воды , купить тоже не было где все магазины по близости были закрыты.

Great breakfast, spacious, well equipped and modern one bedroom apartment. The host provided lots of information on restaurants, places around to visit. One of the best accomodation we had in our 3 weeks in Northern Greece. Pity we were there only for one night.

The facilities, the politeness of the staff and the cleaningness

Wir haben die Maisonette-Wohnung gebucht. Es war sehr sauber und hatte alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Alles war modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und sehr viel, eigentlich zu viel. Man darf aber alles, was übrig bleibt, mitnehmen. Auf Wünsche oder mögliche Unverträglichkeiten wird eingegangen. Das Personal ist rundum sehr freundlich und gibt auch gerne gute Tipps für die Aktivitäten in der Umgebung.

Even though it was late May, it was warm, and the A/c was sub-optimal. Also, from a location standpoint, it looked like all the nice eateries and supermarket were at Lotichoro, which was a 15 min drive away

12 von 10 Punkten ! Anlage ist recht neu, Zimmer sind toll ausgestattet, Badezimmer ist klasse, tolle Dusche. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war inclusive und das beste, welches wir in den letzten zwei Wochen in Griechenland hatten. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und hat sich toll um uns gekümmert.

Just perfect. The property is beautiful, with a very green garden from which we access directly to the rooms. The room was big, with a small kitchen and the bedroom upstairs. The sofa bed downstairs was very comfortable to sleep in. And, oh the perfect smell of the appartment! of aromatic herbs, I loved it. Breakfast is marvelous, fresh made eggs delivered directly to your table, and a selection of local products, pastries, soup.... The staff was very nice and helpful. Costas provided us with information on treckking routs adapted to our needs, and even sent a file with the gps coordinates.

Ruime woonkamer met terras aan de achterkant. Omdat wij er in mei waren hebben we meer aan de voorkant gezeten. Lekkere douche, prima bed en keuken groot genoeg. Ontbijt is in een centrale ruimte en uitgebreid. Heel aardig personeel. Eigenaar geeft goede tips voor activiteiten.

Tout était parfait l,accueil et les explications sur les différents sites à visiter étaient top .La vue de notre balcon sur le mont Olympe était magnifique!

Très bien placé pour la visite du musée et du site archéologique de Dion. Nous avons pu laisser la voiture sur le parking privé et tout faire à pied . Merci à notre hôte qui nous a donné toutes les informations touristiques aussi bien pour le site que pour le Mont Olympe également à proximité.

Персонал был очень любезен. Отдельное спасибо Катерине, которая нам помогала и подсказывала по любому вопросу. Очень порадовал камин. Хотя хозяин сказал, что им мало кто пользовался. Моей супруге, а особенно ребенку камин за стеклом очень приглянулся, спасибо.

В общем эти апартаменты как квартира, единственное чего на мой взгляд не хватает - это духовки и микроволновой печи. А так всё хорошо. Минусов нет.
