Microhouse Leknes in Lofoten

L'emplacement était très bien situé. Toute petite maison mais confortable. Avec toutes les commodités à côté. J'étais toute seule donc nickel pour moi. Le propriétaire a été d'une gentillesse remarquable. J'ai eu un gros soucis de connexion 4G (lenteur anormale) et il est venu m'accueillir en personne afin que j'arrive en toute sécurité. Il s'est assuré de me donner des conseils sur les sites et lieux à visiter, des adresses de restaurants etc...

J'attire l'attention sur le fait que c'est situé juste à côté de l'aéroport de Leknes. En bout de piste Donc oui, on entend les avions décoller assez fort. Ce n'est pas un aéroport international non plus. Juste local. Il n y a pas un trafic de fou. Personnellement, j'avais lu ces commentaires avant de réserver. Cela ne m'a pas posé de problème car je pars en visite du matin jusqu'en fin d'après-midi. Et le soir je dors avec des bouchons d'oreilles. Donc ça ne m'a pas dérange.

Ondanks de grootte van het huisje, praktisch ingericht. Prima bedden. Goed parkeren, winkelen en restaurants dichtbij. Eigenaar geeft praktische tips.

Uitzicht is minimaal. Luchthaventje dichtbij, wat ons niet stoorde want weinig vluchten en binnen de tijdspanne waarbij men wakker is. 7u eerste vlucht, laatste om 23u15.

La localización es ideal para visitar las lofoten. La relación calidad-precio es de lo mejor.

Es muy pequeño para cuatro personas. Ideal para una pareja que no lleve muchas maletas, porque no hay espacio físico para ellas.

房間過於狹小，大行李箱無處可放。 冰箱只能冷藏，無冷凍功能。 離車站、超市走路太遠。 有客機從頭上飛過的噪音。 訂房網站說明與實際有點落差。 有室外農作物施用堆肥的味道。

Perfect location, tiny house, but equiped with everything we needed.

Het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Arthur is een vriendelijke gastheer die altijd voor je klaar staat.

Het huisje is erg warm als de zon schijnt. Slechte verduistering in de zomer. Bedden zijn veel te kort. In de badkamer stinkt het naar riool.

We had a wonderful stay at Arthur’s micro house in Lofoten. Arthur was a kind, responsive, and helpful host who gave us great local recommendations. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the location was excellent — very near to Leknes center and the bus stop, with shops within a short walking distance. We also really appreciated the extra hour for checkout. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lofoten. Thank you, Arthur, for your warm hospitality!

Domek jest faktycznie bardzo mały. Znajduje się w nim wszystko co trzeba, kuchnia w pełni wyposażona, na początku maja było w nim dość ciepło. Właściciel bardzo miły i pomocny. Niemniej stosunek oferty do ceny jest mocno dyskusyjny. Po dwóch tygodniach na Lofotach to był jeden z droższych obiektów, a ze względu na swój rozmiar o najniższym standardzie.

Esperienza eccellente! Il Microhouse Leknes è un alloggio davvero delizioso: piccolo, curato nei dettagli, molto pulito e sorprendentemente funzionale. C’è tutto quello che serve per sentirsi a proprio agio e la posizione è comodissima per esplorare le Lofoten. Abbiamo trovato l’ambiente accogliente, tranquillo e ben organizzato, perfetto per un soggiorno piacevole. Un grazie anche all’host per la disponibilità e l’attenzione. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca una soluzione originale, pratica e molto piacevole a Leknes.

It was clean

Too small, too cold and too noisy. It was right next to a runway.

Loved it here! The house is truly "micro", but its interior layout is very smart and makes it feel more spacious. The beds were very comfy, the smart TV had YouTube and Netflix. There is also a nice terrace in front of the house. Leknes is also a very good place to base yourself in if you want to explore/hike the westernmost islands. The owner was friendly & very responsive.

La cucina è dotata di tutti gli accessori e ci ha permesso di consumare i nostri pasti. Altra nota positiva è la posizione centrale rispetto alle varie attività da fare e la disponibilità del servizio TV e Netflix.

Valuterei la possibilità di mettere una piccola tettoia o copertura all'esterno, per coprirsi dalla pioggia pur restando all'aria aperta.

Tanto "micro" quanto funzionale, la casa che vorrei. Incredibile che avesse tutto (tutto!) e ci stesse tutto (tutto!) in così poco spazio. Cucina nuova e ben fornita di qualsiasi utensili, piccolo armadio in cui appendere le cose e mettere gli zaini (forse non pratico per grosse valigie), bagno pulito, wifi funzionante, smart TV. Il proprietario gentile e disponibile, ci ha consigliato spiaggette/città/trekking nelle vicinanze - anche quelle che Google non ti dice. Posto auto davanti alla casetta, torretta per ricaricare l'auto elettrica a 2km circa

Niente. Veramente carina. È micro: non super comoda per persona più alte di 1.80-1.85 (come un nostro amico di 1.92), però si è adattato - non ha mai battuto la testa da nessuna parte Unica piccola pecca: la tenda interna per il sole non arriva fino in fondo e quindi la luce entra, ma con 2 zaini messi bene abbiamo ovviato il "problema"

Jättefin liten stuga med all man behöver. Lugnt läge i Leksnäs. Fick många fina tips av värden Arthur på sevärdheter. Det märktes att han är mån om sina gäster.

浴室偏小，洗手台的水龍頭一打開就會噴出來，所以我們都在廚房刷牙😅

Arthur is a wonderful host and the MH is ideally located in Leknes, nearby the city center. It’s tiny but very cosy !

Like others already pointed, the airport is about 2 km from the center and you will hear them very loudly from 7 am to 11 pm every day.

Such a great and cute micro house and even better host. I’m happy that I’ve chosen Arthur’s Microhouse for my stay in Leknes and I would definitely be back if available. You have everything you need for a nice and comfortable stay - fridge, stove, heating system. Arthur is very responsive and I felt really welcome in his property. The place is clean and the location is great.

This is not a complain, but just a heads up - the micro house is great for solo travelers. But it might be too small for 2 or more people. And it’s really close to the airport so you will hear coming and going planes very loudly all the time. But that’s part of the adventure.

Bed too short, no ladder to access the upper bed, big bright light in lower sleeping area, no space for luggage, table too big for the limited space, overall pretty cramped, structure very noisy when windy, very close to the end of the airport runway

A bit more of storage for the food maybe, but it is not a big problem

It was super cozy and everything was close by like restaurants and a mall as well.

Adding the facility to do the laundry ( maybe those small portable laundry machines ) will make it more better considering the cabin is small to have a big one.

We loved our stay, thanks to Arthur for whom nothing was to much, even leaving a party to help out late at night.

We had all the equipments we needed. The house is really nice and well located in Lofoten.

Maybe the aeroport was too close to the house (we could hear the planes in the house) and there were two cupboards near the beds which was quite dangerous (two people couldn't fit in the bed on top)

Has all the necessities for a comfy stay. It’s close to grocery stores, gas stations and about 5min drive to the airport. Arthur was attentive and provided many tips & suggestions of places to visit. It’s a good base location to explore Lofoten.

No complaints, just some suggestions. For the kitchen cutting utensils, it would be good to have small knives for cutting fruits & veggies. Since there’s no place to store the luggage, maybe under sofa can be storage spaces.

Easy checkin and checkout. Good to reach with parking spot. Nice and friendly contact with host.

Starting and landing plains over the house. Place is really small (as described), would not recommend for more than 2 people.
