Lion tree house est un logement presque luxueux tellement la résidence est magnifique. La chambre cabane est gigantesque avec la salle de bain privative incroyable. La piscine, les alentours dépassent largement les attentes et les hôtes vous reçoivent très bien. Je rajouterais que la vue de la terrasse de la chambre en hauteur, offre un point de vue unique sur le Lion rock qui est un réel plus ! Le petit déjeuner était excellent. Encore merci beaucoup

This is the most beautiful place! Location wise, facilities wise, host wise, food wise- everything was honestly amazing. The room was the perfect size with a gorgeous view, and the bed was super comfortable. There is a lovely pool to laze in and enjoy the scenery. Breakfast was delicious, we both genuinely looked forward to it each morning! The host is very friendly and helpful. Location wise we were close to the sites that we wanted to visit, and there was nice food options nearby.

This hotel is amazing. The tree houses are fabulous with incredible views from the balconies and windows to Sigiriya Lion Rock. Spotlessly maintained and beautiful gardens are tended by Laila and family who are gracious, professional and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful - local dishes and European food as well as multiple fresh fruits. And much to our surprise, there is a lovely new swimming pool in the grounds. I was expecting a true 'tree house' experience but was astounded to find a luxurious hideaway instead. Incredible value for money, this is a really lovely place to stay, we wish we could have stayed longer - and highly recommend it. Thank you!

Unser Aufenthalt im Lion Wood Treehouse war einfach wunderschön! 🌿 Das Treehouse ist gemütlich, sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Der Pool ist perfekt zum Entspannen und das absolute Highlight ist die Natur rundherum: Vom Balkon aus konnten wir Pfaue, Kühe, Tukane 🦚🐄 beobachten – ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis! In der früh gibt es ein sehr leckeres Frühstück! Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns sofort willkommen gefühlt haben. Ein wirklich einzigartiger Ort, den wir jederzeit weiterempfehlen würden und auch wieder besuchen würden!

What an amazing place! The warmest of welcomes, beautiful, well appointed room with an incredible view of Sigyria Lion Rock, a lovely pool, a huge freshly cooked traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and hosts who are so genuine and friendly and go over and above. Only wished we could have stayed longer.

We felt very, very comfortable here! Lala and his wife are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing! A real highlight was the beautiful view from our room directly to the Lion Rock, as well as the wonderful swimming pool. We would definitely stay here again!

Alles super, tolle Unterkunft, toller Gastgeber, toller Service, tolle Aussicht, tolle Anlage. Traumhaft schön, jederzeit wieder. Mit Pool, super freundlich, leckeres abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.!

All I can say is that the accommodation and the view are breathtaking. This family run accommodation is great, clean, and hosts. Mr Lalantha and his wife were very welcoming and cooked the most amazing breakfast every morning. Thev are the most genuine couple we met.

Het is een enorm mooie plek en ze waren op het moment dat wij er zaten bezig om een nieuw zwembad te maken. Het grootste gedeelte van het zwembad was af en de eigenaar liet ons dan ook gebruik maken van dit zwembad. Daarnaast doen ze hier alles voor je, toen we terug kwamen van de Safari hebben ze voor ons diner gezorgd. Kortom, echt een aanrader.

Het enige nadeel wat dit gebied heeft is dat je in het donker beter niet over straat kan lopen wegens wilde olifanten. Dit is echter overal in het gebied en heeft dus niets met specifiek deze accommodatie te maken. Zelf vind ik dit juist de charme van deze plek.

Wunderschöne Lage! Wir hatten 3 Nächte in der Deluxe Villa und fanden es sehr schön. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen fantastischen Blick ins Grüne und auf den Lion Rock. Der Gastgeber hat sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert und uns bei all unseren Ausflügen geholfen oder gute Tipps gegeben. Momentan an ein paar Stellen noch unordentlich weil noch weiter gebaut wird; hat uns aber ganz und gar nicht gestört und würden jederzeit wieder kommen! Die Villa ist jedoch etwas hellhörig, sodass man alle Tiere hört. Wir fanden dies sehr schön. Das Frühstück jeden Morgen und ein Abendessen, was wir in Anspruch genommen haben, war auch sehr lecker!

Fantastic view of Lion Rock, our treehouse was amazing, very spacious for our family of 3. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food including fresh fruit juice , fruit and cooked Sri Lankan food. We stayed for 2 wonderful nights at this fantastic guesthouse, we could easily have stayed longer as it was so relaxing. The owner was very , very friendly and helpful.

We had a very pleasant stay at Lion Wood Treehouse. Lana and his family were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was good, and they were accommodating and gave us useful advice and recommendations for the area. The room was comfortable, especially the bed, which made for a good night’s sleep. Prachtige plek met uitzicht op Lion rock vanuit terras van je huisje. Olifantensafari was geweldig. Nog nooit zulke lieve en zorgzame mensen ontmoet! Ik bleek Denque te hebben en Lala heeft ons zo goed geholpen! Naar ziekenhuis in Kandy gebracht, week niet van onze zijde om te helpen! Bleef zelfs daar overnachten moesten hem echt naar huis sturen zo bezorgd was hij.

This was by far my favourite stay in Sri Lanka. Lala and his family welcome you with open arms and make sure you have everything you need. My room was beautifully furnished and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge. Airconditioning works great and there’s a fridge. And the terrace! What an amazing view of Lion Rock. The breakfast was the best I had in Sri Lanka: so varied and ample, with fresh juice every morning. Lala organised a safari for me, he even brought me to a lake where you can swim, and personnally drove me to Ella with a stop at Dambulla cave temples for a good price. I highly recommend this place and hope I can stay again!

До скалы мы шли пешком примерно минут 20 через приятный лес, в котором была тень и немного милых обезьян. Завтрак был очень хороший, нам принесли много еды, прохладительные напитки, чай. С удовольствием остановилась бы в этом отеле еще.

It’s a nice and well maintained property which was very much taken care of. A lot of plants and a nice view of the lions rock. It was quiet and very cozy. Lala and his wife were the most amazing hosts and made our start in Sri Lanka the bestest experience you could’ve imagined. Lala always helped with questions and transportation and also arranged us transfer and a safari for a decent price. He even drove us to Dambulla and Kandy and provided a lot of interesting information along the journey. We also had curry dinner from Lalas wife which was the best we had so far. The breakfast is also very delicious and so tasty. We really recommend this accommodation for your stay in Sigiriya. Of course it’s not on the main road so you have to arrange tuktuks at night, but you have the most amazing few of the rock and hear all the amazing wildlife at night. A true local experience. Lala, thanks again for all your hospitality. This was so kind. We loved it and would always choose to come back 💛

Beautiful treehouses located right in the middle of nature. It's so calm you can hear all the animals around and see lots of birds from the balcony. The hosts are amazing, they'll arrange any activity or transport you need and the breakfast is the best we had in Sri Lanka! They're really kind, they even upgraded us to the better treehouse for the end of our stay as no other guests were arriving. There's also a mini bar and fridge in the room, very useful.

Great accomodation with fantastic views on Sigiriya Lion rock. We were at the deluxe villa which had working AC, hot water, UK type plugs, and even electric mosquito repellent. The breakfast were delicious, huge in portions and variety. The owner and his family were super friendly and very helpful, they organised tuk tuk rides for nearby sights, and car transport for us. Thank you Lala!

Our stay here was so nice. Lala kindly picked us up from the airport at 4am. They allowed us to check in and shower before having breakfast waiting for us. The treehouse was cosy, unique, and had great views of Lion Rock. They gave nice recommendations on what to do in Sigiriya. The family were really kind and hospital, and the food was so tasty. We did not feel hungry for a while after those breakfasts. Please stay here.

Das Bett war etwas durchgelegen.

Luxere hutjes op pilaren inclusief goede airco. Oase van rust. Mooie tuin. Lieve eigenaar, waarbij veel mogelijk is. Heerlijk en breed ontbijt. In de omgeving een mooi meer op loopafstand.

Het ligt iets verder weg van het stadje van Sigiriya zelf. Onderweg naar het stadje wel meerdere tentjes op loopafstand. Niet aan te raden grote afstanden zelfstandig te lopen i.v.m. wilde olifanten. Tuktuks wel te regelen.

Prachtig verblijf met heel mooi uitzicht op de lion's rock. De kamer is brandschoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze maken een gezellig praatje, hebben veel tips voor de omgeving en helpen direct waar nodig. Toen wij er waren was de stroom uitgevallen in de regio, waarop de eigenaar direct probeerde een oplossing te zoeken voor ons. Ook regelen ze een tuktuk naar het centrum wanneer je dit nodig hebt. Het ontbijt is erg lekker en authentiek Sri Lankaans.

De locatie is prachtig, maar wel wat verder van het centrum. Je bent daardoor wel meer afhankelijk van een tuktuk.

L'hôte et sa famille sont très gentils et serviables, aux petits soins pour passer un très bon séjour. J'ai adoré le cadre, la maisonnette individuelle et le confort à l'intérieur. Le cadre est exceptionnel, la vue parfaite ! Et super petit déjeuner, très copieux, bon et local !

Siamo stati ospiti di Lala e della sua deliziosa moglie per 3 notti. Tutto è stato perfetto ! La camera era molto pulita, ben arredata, bagno grande. La vista dal terrazzo su lion's rock è magnifica. La colazione buona e abbondante , ogni giorno diversa. La zona è tranquilla e permette di andare a piedi a lion's rock e anche sulla via principale di sigirya . Numerosi ristoranti si trovano nella zona. Lala riesce a organizzare ogni tipo di attività, noi abbiamo visitato con lui e un suo driver le attivita dei dintorni. Consigliamo a tutti questo soggiorno presso questa famiglia con 3 piccoli e dolci bambini

What a wonderful place to stay. The location is breathtaking and I can't imagine a better view of Lion Rock from a guest house. The host Lala is one of the most friendly and helpful people you could hope to meet. Everything he does is to make you feel welcome and happy. He recommended some local restaurants and took me to them and picked me back up. The breakfasts are amazing. They were slightly different each day and included omelette, dhal, sambol, different breads, pancakes, fruits, juice, tea, coffee and that's just what I can remember! The treehouse on stilts was very comfortable and spacious. Air-con, mosquito net (if needed), mini bar, kettle, tea, coffee. The bathroom was also spacious with working hot water. At night, the sound of the crickets and birds is beautiful and I had very restful sleep during my whole stay. The views from my balcony of Lion Rock were stunning and underneath the treehouse there is a lovely shaded outdoor area for you to enjoy and relax in. This is also where you have breakfast. If you are thinking of visiting Sri Lanka then please stay here. You will not regret it and you will leave with beautiful memories.

We hebben een erg fijn verblijf gehad bij Lion Wood Treehouse. Lala en zijn gezin waren ontzettend gastvrij en zorgden ervoor dat we ons helemaal thuis voelden. Elke ochtend maakten ze een heerlijk ontbijt voor ons klaar en ze deden er alles aan om ons verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Ook gaven ze ons waardevolle tips en aanraders om de omgeving te verkennen. Daarnaast was de tuktuk-chauffeur die zij ons aanraadden ook geweldig en vriendelijk. Kortom: een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die in de omgeving wil verblijven!

The view is amazing, great view of the Lion's Rock from the room and even from the bathroom. The room is clean, air con works fine, there was hot water in the shower. The breakfast was very good. Owner is nice and helpful, he organized various transfers for us.

Het fijnst is het gezin dat deze accomodatie aanbiedt. Lala en zijn vrouw zorgen dat je je helemaal thuisvoelt. Ze regelen vervoer, zelfs een homecooked Sri Lankees diner, niks is hen teveel. Wij huurden voor ons gezin beide treehouses, fijne grote badkamers met goede, warme douche. Alles is heel erg schoon en gezellig ingericht. Het uitzicht op de Lion rock is adembenemend. Echt een fantastische locatie. Het ontbijt met locale specialiteiten en veel fruit is heerlijk. We hebben enorm genoten hier. Goede locatie om Sigriya en omgeving te ontdekken.

Wow! you will quickly realize that Sri Lanka has a lot of fake reviews on google - and it's hard to ever trust something that has perfect 5 star reviews - but in this case the 5 stars are well deserved. The breakfast that is served is fantastic - easily the best breakfast we have had during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. The room is fantastic - a large room with a comfy bed, warm shower, and a great view of the rock. Lala's communication via whats app is quick and very helpful. He arranged a taxi to him at a fair fair rate. He also took us in his tuk tuk to Lion Rock for a fair rate. We requested dinner one night and for just $8USD each we were served a curry feast! Laundry service is also provided, along with a minifridge of beverages available for purchase. Definitely stay here!

It was in a convenient location, with a great view of the Lion's Rock. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast included was delicious. Most importantly, our host, Lala, was excellent — he gave good recommendations and helped us with our itinerary from booking a safari tour to arranging our transportation. We had a great stay! Breakfast from Lala and his wife was amazing. One day it was a packed breakfast as we did a safari that was organised though him. The next it was a spread, and it was delicious! He also helped us with local Tuktuks for a very reasonable price and showed us some local spots. Bed was comfy, room was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend!

We loved our stay at the treehouses which offered privacy, calmness and comfort. This placed in a rural area where you can see the Sigiriya rock clearly and hear the sound of different spices of birds. The family who runs the business made our stay even more special. They organised everything for us from safari to tuk tuk transfers and restaurant to local tours. They also cooked delicious breakfast every morning. We would highly recommend this place for your stay in Sigiriya.

We stayed in Lion Wood Treehouse for two nights and it was an amazing experience! The treehouse is very spacious and clean and very cozy. From your balcony or even inside you have an amazing view of the Lion’s Rock and also Pidurangala Rock is very close. Lalantha and his wife were very nice and welcoming and served us some amazing delicious breakfast! Great place to stay in Sigiriya!

The view is insane. It’s one of the nicest houses I stayed in during my three month in Sri Lanka. It’s spacious, clean and you have a warm shower. You have to wake up early to the the beautiful sunrise from the balcony

If we could give an 11 we would! Very clean, view is phenomenal & Lalantha & his family were fabulous hosts. So helpful, shared their hospitality and their knowledge of the area. Birdwatching with a view of Lion Rock is a wonderful experience. The food is delicious, breakfasts are generous & tasty. If you have the option of the dinner - take it! 9 curries, the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. Lalantha showed us lakes at sunset which were great for birdwatching. He also arranged our transport to Polunuwara & onwards to Kandy. He also provides tuk tuk service into town. I must also mention Lalantha’s assistance with helping me with internet & wifi for a very important meeting.

Its beyond amazing! I recommend it for everyone. The view is famulous, you will see Sigiriya from windows and balcony. The host family is super friendly and helpfull. Everything is new and simple. The backyard and surounding is very new and clean. The breakfast is huge and tasty! Just if you read this comment - book this place for two nights (sunrise - Punduvala rock, elephant safari).

We had a fantastic 3 nights at Lion Wood Treehouse. Lalantha was the most excellent host, from start to finish of our stay here he couldn’t do more for us. It really felt like home here & we felt extremely welcome. Not to mention the absolutely incredible spread of breakfast every morning, it was so so delicious. We would highly recommend this accommodation in Sigiriya, ideal to get around easily on foot and also by tuk tuk. We will be recommending to all of our friends & family :) again thank you Lalantha for your incredible hospitality, we hopefully will return in the near future.

A beautiful tree house located in a very serene and peaceful area of Sigiriya. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with all the facilities you could need (hair dryer, fridge, kettle etc). The owner and his family were very hospitable and could not do enough for us. Upon arrival, we were met with a refreshing drink whilst he advised us on the different activities/ sightseeing spots. They also provided a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast each morning. The location is perfect if you love nature and are looking for peaceful retreat, from our window we had a wonderful view of Lion Rock. It’s just worth noting that in the early mornings and evenings, there are wild elephants roaming around and so we were advised not to walk alone anywhere during this time of day.

The location was amazing. Slightly away from all the resorts, perfectly placed to have a view of Sigirya Lion Rocks from the window. Plus the host cooks amazing food!

The room is cosy and clean. It has an amazing view of Sigirya rock. The food was delicious, the host served us 9 different curries for dinner. He was very accommodating and offered to wake up at 5am to make us coffee and packed breakfast. It is well located from all attractions.

Lalantha is a wonderful guest. He welcomed us in a friendly and attentive way, and his wife cooked delicious food. The tree house is super cozy, brand new, and it was a pleasure to rest in thetr. The location has a spectacular view on Lion Rock. It was just a shame that we spent only one night there.
