Enviroment, location and stuff.

It's a small lovely boutique hotel like an island in the middle of the jungle. It has a lovely and stylish decoration, the pool is really great, a comfy bed with a spaceous bathroom, beatifull bath and great shower pressure. Amenities are high quality, Staff is super kind, helpful and always smillig. Pretty good for our 4 days stay in Uluwatu! PS: they made a very kind honeymoon decoration and gave us a delicious cake to celebrate.

Not related to the hotel itself, but allthough the location doesn't seem far from Uluwatu's main road, it's not really a walkable area. There is no sidewalks neither ilumination (the hotel provide lanterns). You have to literally share the roads with motorcycles and big cars. It's also a very hilly area. Not a problem of you have a scooter though.

The location was very central with only a 12 minute walk to great cafes, restaurants, and markets and 20 minutes to Padang Padang beach. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful at all times. The pool area is nice and relaxing and they have a rooftop area where you can do yoga or work out. The rooms were kept clean and were comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Dara Boutique Team for having us :)

Het hotel ziet er mooi modern uit. Hotel kamer is ruim en heeft een mini bar en een waterkoker. Badkamer is ook ruim en ze hebben een aantal verzorgingsproducten die je kan gebruiken. Ligging is prima, soms liep ik naar de hoofdstraat en soms nam ik een Grab.

Je kan niet heel makkelijk aan het zwembad liggen. Er zijn maar twee ligbedden die voor een ander hotelkamer staan. Niet erg uitnodigend om voor die kamer te liggen. Hotel ligt aan een weg met veel bochten, scooters en auto’s toeteren uit veiligheid in de bochten en dat hoor je dus de hele tijd. Went na een tijdje wel een beetje.

Beautifully designed and felt secluded despite being so close to all of the bustle of the shops and restaurants. Felt very private and quiet with a fantastic pool area for lounging and reading or working.

Beste Hotel welches wir auf Bali hatten!!! Der Service ist Weltklasse, dir wird hier alles abgenommen und sich um alles gekümmert. Vom Rollerverleih, über Wäscheservice, Restuarant und Ausflügtipps, wirklich Weltklasse 🫶 Die Lage ist sehr zentral in Uluwatu aber doch ruhig, der beste Mix.

Sehr Gute Lage, Sehr Saubere und ordentliche Zimmer. Das personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Beautiful small boutique in a good location close to everything you need in Uluwatu (10 min walk). The staff are super friendly and very helpful. No breakfast here but loads of places locally nearby and they give you some delicious banana bread and fruit in a basket in the morning for free. Everything was spotless too. Thank you!

Loved the vibe and decor of the place and everything was clean. We got upgraded room when we arrived too which was lovely!! Also the mini bar snacks were really yummy and there is filtered water to drink in the pool area - staff were also really attentive and kind!

You really need a bike to get up to the main road it’s steep and lots of cars/bikes along there so not the easiest to walk up - also in general the location was a little bit more out of the way than expected. Also sliiiiight Bali drainy kinda smell from the bathroom at times - but to be expected in most places in Bali!

The property was fantastic! Very relaxed atmosphere and a great hideaway. The staff went above and beyond for my stay which I was extremely grateful for. Perfect if you want a quiet escape.

Small hotel feel, very intimate with a really great pool and lounges outside the room. The best at the hotel are the extremely nice staff, 10/10! Great support during my stay. Although the hotel does not offer breakfast, they bring a basket each morning, with a cake and fruit, which is nice. There are also many cafes 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel is located on a forest street, not far walking distance from main street, but less noisy. The street behind the hotel has some motorbike traffic (this is Balil), but seriously less at night, it actually did not bother at all and slept quite well.

The hard pillows, would have been nice to have both harder and softer version, but this is just my preference. Also, an option for handheld shower would be nice.

Great staff and attention, with a beautifully detailed place.

Only minor issue was the hot water in the bath which last for a few min, but overall an excellent stay.

수질이 정말 깨끗했던 공용풀장을 우리 부부만 이용했던 경험이 정말 좋았어요. 저녁시간 투숙객이 모두 외출중이라 아무도 없었거든요. 직원분들도 다 친절했어요!

메인 스트리트까지 걸어서 10분정도 걸렸는데, 왔다갔다 하기엔 조금 힘들었어요. 샤워필터를 낄 수 있는 샤워헤드가 없어서 생수로 마지막 헹굼을 했고요. 방이 생각보다 꽤 작았어요.

Alles was schoon en zag er prachtig uit! Leuke en gezellige vibe. Personeel erg vriendelijk en soni heeft ons enorm goed geholpen met de volgende trip.

I loved the decor & vibe of the hotel. The pool was lovely to swim in. Service & location were good. I appreciated advanced notification of unexpected building work & the gift voucher for local restaurant.

The shower/ hot water went off. Staff fixed straight away, however i think there may be an issue with the water system as the tap also didn’t flow consistently. We found the mosquito net to be too small especially around the top of the bed, as you would feel suffocated. There was a lot of ants in our room. The road to the hotel is very narrow/steep, cars managed with a struggle.

The design, decoration, location

The hotel was wonderful! The room and facilities were all very beautiful, the beds were comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was spotless. Everything worked perfectly. Every time we came back, the room was always immaculate. The staff were very kind and helpful from the moment we arrived, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location was great as well — just about 5 to 10 minutes by scooter from Padang Padang Street and Padang Padang Beach. Most of the main things to do around Uluwatu are also within 30 minutes or less if you don’t mind riding a scooter. Highly recommend! Muchas Graciassss!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dara Boutique Hotel is truly a hidden gem! I stayed here for 15 days and absolutely loved it. Great location, beautiful design, and the most welcoming and helpful staff. What impressed me most was the personal attention: when I mentioned to the owner that I prefer a different type of coffee, the very next day it was replaced. That small gesture made me feel so special — they really care about every guest like family❤️🙏🏼 Highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be back!

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Staff were so friendly and helped us arrange some local events with their partner companies.

Les personnes étaient agréables et serviables, et l'ambiance conviviale, dans un cadre joli et atypique, avec un esprit Yoga et détente.

Quiet, small, funky design- very clean and the staff were exceptional, providing a personal level of care and service.

Whilst it’s only a short 5 minute walk to the main road of Uluwatu/Padang Padang, the narrow Laneway has quite a bit of traffic so need to be careful and never do the walk at night because of the risk of being hit by a motorcycle or car.

I have no words for this place! It's one of the best places I've booked so far. Stuff incredibly friendly and very quick to act if something is needed. They even singed happy birthday to me!

So beautifully done, the staff were lovely and accomodating.

The location made it difficult to get to the Main Street. You could definitely walk it, but it was up hill. If you had a scooter tho, then it would be fine.

Personeel is heel behulpzaam, de locatie is dichtbij het centrum, stranden en toch heel rustig gelegen. Het hotel is vrij nieuw en heel smaakvol en slim ingericht

Such a good location only 5 minute walk to the main strip. Staff were so so lovely and accomodating. Room was great, bathroom had everything we needed. Pool was awesome. Was a great stay definitely recommend.

Magnifique boutique hôtel à Uluwatu, dans un coin très calme. Piscine très agréable, une mezzanine avec un shala pour le yoga ou le fitness avec les accessoires a disposition, le Personnel est adorable :) Séjour parfait, merci.

Rien, mais il faut juste noter que l'établissement est situé dans la forêt un peu à l'écart (ce qui est bien car calme) de la rue principale (restaurants, cafés, boutiques) mais il vaut mieux y aller en scooter qu'à pied car les rues ne sont pas idéales pour marcher (dénivelé, animaux etc).

Wonderful location, secluded enough to be very calm and only a 10min walk to the hustle and bustle of Ulu. We loved the comfort of the room, the big shower and the general feeling of privacy you get from having only a few rooms in this hotel The staff was INCREDIBLE, so sweet and so helpful they went above and beyond to help us with taxis, scooter rental, laundry.. In the morning they give you a small basket with a slice of banana bread and a fruit, such a nice touch :) you also have free coffee pods so you can enjoy a nice coffee in the morning in the common area.

The gaps in the door meant mosquitos enter the room and the netting around the bed is very claustrophobic and traps heat at night so it can get very hot and the fan struggles to get through the netting. Could do better with four poster bed netting

Exceptional staff service! In the active and buzzy place like Uluwatu the hotel is located in a quiet are, but still close to the city centre.

The bed is very comfortable. The staff were amazing.

Terrible massage. The door to the room could use some work. Hard to close and lock. Power outlet in bathroom very hard to use.

Fabulous hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The location is great- all restaurants and attractions are a short distance away. Unfortunately during my stay, I became ill and the staff could not have done enough to make sure I was comfortable. They arranged for a doctor to visit the hotel and provided late check out on our departure. I really appreciated their kindness. Amazing customer service! ☺️

Location and staff were beyond exceptional. And the bed was one you'd never want to get up from. Loved my stay at the Dara and would definitely consider staying there again. Also, thanks to the owner Tika, who was extremely helpful & friendly.

Le lit n’était pas confortable, trop dur, mais c’est la seule chose car tout le reste était génial !

Ett jättefint Boutique hotell med fina rum, ligger bra till 5 min upp till gatan med alla resturanger & butiker. Högsta poäng till ägarinnan som ställde upp och hjälpte oss när ovädret ställde till bekymmer.

Tyvärr hamnade vi mitt i ett oväder som orsakade elektriska bekymmer med att vi saknade vatten & AC. Detta ska nu vara åtgärdat med ett extra elverk om det händer igen. Ägaren av hotellet ställde verkligen upp och ordnade nytt boende i närheten.

The best thing about this property was defiantly the staff and their kindness made our stay at Dara boutique hotel amazing. We would definitely recommend the hotel.
