Oasis Rural Retreat

Brilliant rural spot, great size and had lovely Modern facilities. Spa/pool was a highlight, as were the views. Comfortable beds and great overall. Thanks for having us Rose.

That the house was very cold on arrival and we requested the heating to be turned on while we were out to warm the house as we had a late check traveling through the night. It would have been really nice to walk into a warm house.

The location and the spa

Loads of space, very clean and well equipped. Spa worked well, comfy furniture with huge TV! Could easily have stayed longer. Rose was welcoming and helpful. Very rural location which we loved!

Quiet, beautiful views, spa pool was luxurious, comfortable bed. Farm vibes.

Owner lives next to it and was a little invasive, came into the house when we were away (I did ask for another dishwash tablet) as we were given only one for a 2night stay. Did not expect her to go come into the house and go through our rubbish and pull out the recycling. Eeek, this made us feel icky. A not so private stay.

It was a lovely new build.

Landlady lived within arms reach of the front door. Mouse trap on lower shelf. Plants everywhere she had to come in every third day to water them and refused children to visit even though it was Christmas. Bowl in fridge where we were supposed to put food scraps not allowed to use vacuum cleaner as locked away. Luckily we moved on

Beautiful location and house, Rose was an exceptional host. Our car had a flat tyre in the morning and Rose went well above and beyond to help us sort ourselves out: she personally drove us into the nearest town to pick up another tyre and was very generous with her time.

Loved the quiet rural location yet still not far from Dannevirke. The house was lovely and spacious. The outdoor heated pool and fire was exactly what we needed as a family to unwind for a short weekend getaway.

The host Rose was amazing always helpful. She had the fire founding and the house was nice and warm. The swim-spa was amazing. We had a great time and will be back.

We really liked the view, and the spa pool was big and nice. The house was very modern and spacious. The host was nice and accommodating.

We weren't warned about cluster fly season (during sunny seasons), so flies were everywhere inside the house. They were loud and buzzing, which was a bit of an unpleasant surprise and made it hard to fully relax. We had to keep spraying them with the bug spray, but they took a long time to die.

Slice of paradise, thank you Rose. The most relaxing, peaceful night away. We enjoyed relaxing in the spa under the stars and watching the sunrise. The house is lovely, the bed is cosy, best sleep in a long time. Everything about this place is AMAZING!!!

The location was amazing - very rural and peaceful. Rose was a great host and explained everything clearly. The hot tub/pool looked lovely but inclement weather prevented us from using it. The kitchen was well equipped and the uit was very comfortable

A thorough cleaning would have helped improve the overall look and feel of the place. While in no means was it "dirty", it needed a keener eye when it came to the details.

The pool area was brilliant. Surrounded by rural outlook it was so relaxing! Exactly what we needed.

Luxury accommodation with a hotel feel. Big comfy sofas, large smart tv and large comfy beds with fine soft linen. Amazing views. Rose is a fun and attentive host who lives on site with her dogs but left us to have a relaxing stay .

The house was well located in a beautiful rural setting. It was clean,well appointed and the host was lovely and considerate.

The location was rural, with beautiful surroundings not far from town. Clean and host very pleasant and down to earth. I will certainly be returning and recommend the facilities.

Host kept in touch as we arrived later then expected, she was friendly. Fire was lit by host it was nice & warm, hot tub was amazing, shower brilliant, bed comfortable, 2 spaced car park, deck & view brilliant & really appreciated later checkout. Very quiet rural location. Great blockout curtains for sleeping. Received 1litre of milk when we arrived which we appreciated and excellent continental breakfast. Fridge a great size and cold water dispenser appreciated. TV with netflix was good size & great sound. Lots of indoor plants which was homely.

Would have appreciated being given a internet code login on arrival not that it mattered when we were only staying 1 night

Beautifully set up home with all you need to relax and unwind. The fireplace was an amazing especially coming home after the games in the cold night! The host, Rose, is lovely and welcoming too.
