Holiday Desert Camp

Our visit to this camp in Merzouga was a complete disaster from beginning to end. We were initially told that the camel trek would cost €45 per adult and that our 9-year-old child would not be charged. We agreed on a total of €90. But when we arrived late in Merzouga (which we had communicated in advance), we were told it was too late for camels and we had to go by jeep instead — with no mention that this would cost extra. Then came the first unpleasant surprise: the camp we were taken to was not the one we booked. It was a completely different place with lower standards and no explanation given. The dinner was another disappointment. We had clearly said we are vegetarians, but they served us a tiny tagine with small chunks of meat — obviously cooked with meat and then just picked out. It was disgusting, and completely disrespectful to our dietary preferences. To make things worse, at the end we were charged €100 more than agreed — almost €200 in total for a terrible experience. Overpriced, misleading, and dishonest. We do not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and your time. We will definitely never come back.

Everything was bad

We absolutely loved our stay here—it was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. On the day of our arrival, Youssef was waiting for us. We left our luggage with him and set off on a camel trek into the desert. The ride took around two hours through the stunning dunes. Upon reaching the camp, we were warmly welcomed with tea and cookies. Our tent was simple but clean, and the showers and toilets were also clean, with hot water available. Dinner was delicious, and afterward, we enjoyed live music by the fire. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. After watching the sunrise, we went on a day trip with Omar, which was a fantastic experience—thank you so much, Omar! After the trip, we stayed at their riad in Merzouga, where Hassin took care of us. He was extremely polite, attentive, and always eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He also had a great sense of humor! Dinner at the riad was exceptional, with a generous amount of food—so much that we, unfortunately, couldn't finish it all. The next morning, we had an early breakfast before departing. Omar and Hassin, thank you so much for making our stay in Merzouga unforgettable!

We were able to enjoy the desert scenery to the fullest thanks to the variety of activities offered by the camp. We were made to feel completely at home by the exceptionally kind and inviting personnel. The camel ride at dusk was especially enjoyable for us; it was an amazing experience. The views are very wonderful. The sunset over the sand books is amazing and sunrise in the desert is a patron place to enjoy the complete calm. People are simple and generous. I also thank the family of the owner of the house for their generosity in the desert. Donot feel that you are a stranger, but as if you areat your home if you like adventures also thereis a four-wheel drive car. We take you behind the sand to visit nomads or ride camels through the sand stay in tents and see sunrise and sunset and see many stars at night. Really recommend tourists To book in this wonderful site the suncan live a dream, live a desert experience.

We Stayed one night in the camp we loved it, so we Took the camel from the village to the camp. We had best experience and a Great dinner and music and breakfast in the morning was good too so They organised a great 4x4 excursion around desert if you want visit some beautiful places

Salem is always willing to help and available. It's a handy place to organize your desert adventures with Said. The food was prepared with care, and the accommodations were basic yet tidy. The stars are clearly visible. The ATV Quad was incredible for an hour in the midst of the Sahara, and I highly recommend the camel trek at dawn! Holiday desert camp is best one in Merzouga

Everyone was very friendly. The food was pretty and avsolutely delicious! They really take care of you there! Youssef was very supportive and helpful getting us there and back. Generally the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. I was a little affraid of thecold at night but we had multiple thickblankets and even a heated blanket if needed.For the price it was absolutely amazing!

We had in Morocco somewhere else. So delicious. They make Fireplace after dinner and playing music drums so beautiful sounds. Dancing as well.Teaching us how to play drums too Telling us the time for sunrise. We use alarm. We wake up before sunrise we walk to sanddunes the views was so wonderful that we didn't expected to see around They serve us breakfast it was delicious too, to much foods kind staff Thank you all guys friendly that what you are doing Ican't wait to come back it was great time staying with you I highly recommend all my friends !!! The camp is very nice and a good breakfast and dinner. It is and on the other side of the desert respect to Merzouga when you go there you cross all the dunes. Going there is a fantastic experience, the camp ownerorganize whatever activity you want and isreactive in responding to all your necessities.The tends are wide, comfortable, with beds inside. We hope to come back again.

There was magic. We finally decided on this desert campground after I found other options. Whoa, that was amazing. The Milky Way was directly overhead, and the camp was close to some large sand dunes. We went quad biking and sandboarding, which were awesome activities. Mohamed was very kind to drive us to the camp and took great care of us because my partner wasn't feeling well. We also met Hassan and his berber friends, who provided excellent service and music during our stay. The accommodations were excellent: real shower, comfy bed, and desert-themed bathrooms. If you have to choose one camp, please choose this one.

The camping area is incredibly lovely, tidy, and well-run. The food is amazing; the guys are incredibly friendly and arrange entertaining events for the evening, including a concert that we helped to attend! In the morning, we went on a 4x4 tour through the desert, stopping at a few fascinating locations! The camel ride at dawn was fantastic. I would advise everyone to do it!

The only accommodations are beds in a tent at a perfect location in the desert; however, there are also public showrooms with hot water for showers that are spotless. The breakfast and dinner are excellent and plentiful for us at a price that is commendable, and the staff, especially Youssef and Moha, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Holiday Desert Camp is very good! Above all expectations! We would have a large tent that doubled as a bedroom, a very comfy bed, restrooms, and a shower. Appropriate, cozy, and abundant with high-quality food. The staff is very polite and helpful. After dinner that evening, we danced and enjoyed local instruments. The encounter with the chameaux is unlike any other. If you're not the most adventurous person, then you must absolutely live the same life! We left with the chameaux and arrived back in the jeep. I heartily recommend visiting this place.

We loved everything.

The location is ideal in the desert, and there are only beds in the tents, but there are public showrooms that are very clean and have hot water for showers, the breakfast and dinner are very delicious and plentiful for us at a high price ratio, and all of the staff, especially Moha, made our stay comfortable.

Said and Youssef were extremely helpful to us, assisting with anything we needed. Always smiling. The food was abundant, with a delicious buffet for breakfast and tajín for lunch and dinner, including starters, bread, and water.

The atmosphere at the desert camp is magical. Beautiful location set against the breathtaking backdrop of Erg Chebi's massive dunes. Perfectly located, with a courtyard facing the subset. Aside from that, the food was delicious and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Said and Youssef were the most helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a good time. By the time we had to leave after one week, it was like saying goodbye to a friend. I 100% recommend it!!

I just want to let you know that the transportation to and from the camp is not included because it's challenging to do it on your own, but they are wonderful people. We had an amazing experience with Desert Adventurers. We took the camel ride and the 4x4 jeep through the dunes back to the parking spot where we left our car, which is near the camp.
