Emplacement parfait!! Moins de 5min de la plage, proximité de l'aéroport. Accueil chaleureux, hote à l'écoute, de très bon conseils. Chambre très grande.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation fully justified its price: the room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed — a bed, an armchair, a wardrobe and even air conditioning. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The owner also cooks very well. You can ask him to prepare seafood or other local dishes. He can also help organise a trip around the island or a boat tour. We had a very pleasant experience and would gladly recommend this place.

Cuisine pitoyable avec quasiment pas d’ustensiles 1 casserole délabrée au revêtement d’un autre temps... Attention je soupçonne le chien sur place de venir chipper de la nourriture donc ne rien laisser traîner. Le lendemain ma brioche sur la table avait disparue Sdd avec un filet d’eau Ensemble très vétuste

Steeve est très accueillant et disponible. Il nous a facilité le séjour avec ses bons conseils. Sa maison est situé dans un quartier très calme et elle est proche des plages de Blue Bay.

Leaking water from the ceiling next to the wash basin in the middle of the bathroom. Should be fixed, has obviously been leaking for a while.

Chambre propre et fonctionnelle, à 5 min de la plage de Blue Bay. Steeve le propriétaire est très sympathique et a été très disponible pour moi. Il m'a organisé 2-3 sorties / excursions. J'ai passé un excellent séjour. Merci beaucoup :)

It is not as per photograph and pretty old and Air conditioning was not working which we were not informed before. Accomodation windows were open type with no wire net. Did not have a attached bathroom. Front door is not secure and cannot be closed only room doors can be shut .As informed by the owner previous people who stayed forgot to leave the keys which led to this condition.

Апартаменты просторные с двумя спальнями, в 50 метрах от пляжа, напротив вкусная бургерная. Приветливый хозяин.

Ночью было не возможно спать, постоянно летали самолёты так как рядом аэропорт и лаяли собаки дополуночи , а ещё было много комаров в спальне. Вся мебель очень старая.

Le propriétaire est très accueillant et très à l écoute. La chambre est grande et confortable. Rapport qualité prix imbattable !

The host was very friendly, we have arrived earlier and we were able to check in 2 hours prior to the regular time. The location of property was very close to the beach which is another advantage. In the room there was AC unit and fan which is great.

The cleanliness of the property could be improved. In the shared toilet / bathroom there were several cockroaches. This property usually does not provide such amenities as shower gel, soap etc but there is chance to obtain those from the host upon ask.

Steve est réactif et très accueillant il faut juste savoir que le logement n’est pas à l’adresse indiquée mais rue des Carangues et s’appelle koki bonheur

Maison un peu dans son jus.

L'accueil chaleureux de Steeve et l'ambiance décontractée propice aux échanges. L'hébergement est spacieux avec un accès à la cuisine et à la salle à manger. Il est très agréable et facile d'aller à pied à la plage.

La salle de bain aurait besoin d'être rénovée.

Steeve est venu nous chercher à l’aéroport à 9h30 et nous a ramenés pour 20h. (1000 rps par transfert). La chambre était prête ce qui était super car nous avons pu dormir qq heures. Après déjeuner puis baignade à Blue Bay Steeve nous a préparé un plat mauricien qui était bon. Bon plan pour un long transit !

La salle de bain a besoin d’une rénovation…

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. La stanza è grande, il letto è comodo, la struttura e il bagno in comune sono puliti e funzionali. A pochi minuti a piedi si arriva alla spiaggia pubblica di Blue Bay, inoltre nelle vicinanze ci sono diversi ristoranti.

Steve est un hôte très accueillant et de très bon conseil pour les activités et sorties à faire à Blue Bay, il nous a également aidé pour la location d'un véhicule. Nous avons pu profiter de ses qualités de musiciens lors d'une soirée sur la plage en sa compagnie. Nous recommandons vivement Lakaz ! Petite mention spéciale pour Saki le chien, très accueillant aussi 😁 Séjour au top 👍

La proximité de l'aéroport. La chambre est spacieuse avec une cuisine à la disposition. Le propriétaire est très serviable et sympathique. Nous avons bavardé un moment avec lui à son retour du travail. Le quartier est calme, peu éloigné de la plage.

Il faut savoir que le nom et l'adresse ont changé et que Booking,semble- t-il, n'a pas enregistré ces modifications. Nous avons donc beaucoup cherché ! L'établissement s'appelle maintenant Kokko Bonheur et se trouve rue des Carangues. Le propriétaire doit recontacter Booking.

Steve très serviable. Il est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport pour pas cher et de bon conseil Je recommande. Endroit à 5mn à pied de la plage. Confort un peu rustique qui mérite un petit rafraîchissement pour être au top

Die Lage war super und der Host echt nett. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Die offenen Fenster sollten einen nicht abschrecken. Es ist sehr friedlich dort. Nur ein paar Bellende Hunde.

Ich denke das Badezimmer könnte man einmal etwas neu machen, es wirkte schon sehr versifft. Für den Preis aber ok. Dennoch denke ich, dass man mit einem neuen Badezimmer auch mehr Geld verlangen könnte pro Nacht.

L'hôte Steeve est exceptionnel, humain, gentil et généreux dans son amour pour l'île. C'est un parfait guesthouse pour séjourner une nuit ou quelques nuits avant de rentrer chez soi. Il nous a proposé le service de chauffeur mais aussi excursions sur l'île et en bateau. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Et un contact local en or!

Der Vermieter war super nett. Wir haben schöne Abende zusammen verquatscht. Er war hilfsbereit. Flughafen shuttle war kein Problem.

Im Badezimmer tropfte es von der Decke. Gleichzeitig tröppelte es nur aus der Dusche. Es gab nur ein Handtuch. Im Gemeinschaftsbad fehlte Seife (Man läuft doch nicht mit seinem beauty-case auf's clo.). Im Zimmer fehlte ein Mülleimer. In der Küche stand schmutziges Geschirr.

The accomodation is very nice for the price you pay and Steeve made me feel very welcomed. The bathroom could be renewed but the room is very comfortable. Shared kitchen and living room is spacious and has everything you might need. It's a nice stay for the area and the price!

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de Steeve. C'est une personne charmante, il s'intéresse à ses hôtes, il est toujours disponible pour donner des renseignements et partager la fierté de son île. Le logement est très bien placé, à proximité de la magnifique plage de Blue Bay, et des principaux services. De plus l'endroit est très calme.

Nous sommes restés seulement 2 nuits, et nous n'avons rien à reprocher à la prestation

Ich habe mich hier total wohlgefühlt! Die Unterkunft war genau das, was ich gebraucht habe nach meinen Flug um mich zu entspannen, den Jetlag auszukurieren und in Mauritius anzukommen. Besonders der Gastgeber war klasse – super nett, hilfsbereit und immer da, wenn ich mal eine Frage hatte oder Unterstützung brauchte. Ich habe mich direkt willkommen gefühlt. Würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Siamo stati molto soddisfatti della calorosa accoglienza ricevuta e anche della buonissima cucina di Steeve. Gli host ci hanno saputo aiutare ad organizzare le attività di vacanza nella zona di Blue Bay che ci è piaciuta moltissimo grazie alle persone e alla bellezza dell'oceano.

Il bagno necessitava di un po' di tempo per caricare l'acqua calda.

La atención por parte de los huéspedes. Nos dejó una sim card que solo tuvimos que recargar y luego se la devolvimos al final del viaje. Acceso independiente a la casa y uso de la cocina. Puedes aparcar justo delante.

La ubicación era incorrecta. Cuando conseguimos llamarle nos recogió y nos llevó a otro alojamiento ("Lakaz Koki"). Si te querías duchar con agua mínimamente caliente, no salía nada de presión. Poca privacidad. Barrio tranquilo pero poco viable para ir por la noche a dar una vuelta o a la playa.

La chambre et les salles de bain étaient salle. L'hôte fume beaucoup et ca m'a mis très mal à l'aise. Le lit n'était pas confortable. La localisation n'était pas de premier plan et assez loin de l'aéroport. Je trouve que la description sur booking.com n'est pas assez descriptive et j'ai eu de mauvaise attente.

L'accueil de l'hôte et les bons plats qu'il nous a préparés.

La séparation du groupe dans 2 hébergements dont l'un faisait preuve d'une vétusté inacceptable et l'autre un peu moins vétuste en apparence, avec une douche qui fuit, sans possibilité de fermer le robinet d'eau douche. De ce fait, le matin, nous nous sommes douchés avec de l'eau froide. Pas de salle à manger dans le premier hébergement, seule une grande table était installée dehors, ce qui nous a empêché de terminer normalement le petit-déjeuner lorsque la pluie nous a surpris le lendemain matin. Le chien (bien que très gentil) se trouvait étalé sur la même table sur laquelle était servi le repas.

I just liked the room.

The staff’s behaviour was pathetic & they were vey ill mannered. They misbehaved & charged us hefty amount to drop us to the airport. Not at all friendly. About the property, it is way too darker around. No street lights around & not safe at all. They only have one common washroom & very small shower area. The geyser is also not working. At night, somebody was knocking on our room’s window scaring the shit out of us. The electricity at the property was going on & off. Had a terrible experience staying there. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

Incredibly warm and hospitable hosts, felt like family instantly. Bend over backwards to make us feel at home and help out in emergency situations (I was with my 85 year old mom in law, and her legs gave out on a walk to the beach, and the hosts dropped everything to come to the rescue!). ❤️😎 I had a small medical emergency and they came to the rescue again with a first aid kit. These people and their guest homes are real gems, a real Mauritian experience just 5 mins walk to beautiful beaches and blue bay. 😎🤙🙏

6 rooms 1 bathroom , more like a dormitory in my opinion

We didn't get the chance to stay with Julie and Steeve overnight. We used it as an alternative to an airport lounge for a layover in Mauritius. It was perfect for a shower, change of clothes and somewhere to keep luggage while we enjoyed dinner in Blue Bay. Julie and Steeve were very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend as a nice spot to stay if you have an early morning flight also as it is close to the airport or if you want to explore Blue Bay

Location is perfect, hosts were very helpful and friendly and helped us check in earlier than planned.

Not great ventilation in the room, only a small window. Cleanliness was not great, mattress was quite stained, lots of old food in the fridge, wasn't cutlery or bowls in the kitchen.

Great first night

Lovely little guest house with very accommodating couple. Great place to stay for my first and last nights travel to explore Mauritius only wish i had spent more time there! Steve also transports you to a from the airport for a fair fee. Also located very close to Blue Bay so nothing but positive vibes for the place.

The place and family is amazing! I had a very nice stay there, comfy bed, clean bathroom, a kitchen for use, Julie and Steve are supernice and helped me a lot during my stay there in the cyclone, also there is the possibility to wash your clothes, little garden to relax and read your book

No aircon or ceiling fan. Just a pedal stool fan. No seperate toilet. If shared bathroom was occupied we couldnt go to the loo.

Warm welcome from owners. Excellent location for beach, buses and local shops and restaurants. All rooms on the ground floor, with owners living upstairs. Bed is very comfortable, with mosquito net. Note that there is a communal kitchen for the guests. Blue Bay Beach is close by and is sandy and the sea is very warm. No air conditioning, only fans. Regular bus service to Mahebourg for local market and restaurants.

Shared bathroom facilities guests. Note that the windows and doors of the house are open most of the time and so that there ants and insects in all rooms. Blue Bay Beach is in the flight path for the airport.

What makes this place special is that it is a home away from home managed by 2 beautiful people who care for the island and its people. Steve is a fabulous chef as well! (We had fabulous mines frites.) I will return there.

Location of Lakaz Metiss Arobaz is perfect - close to the beaches, but still nights were silent. The family who is running this place is so helpful and they really want best to their guests. Room was clean and WiFi worked well in the yard. Perfect first stop in Mauritius. Thank you so much and see you soon! :)

What a wonderful experience at this homestay! The 4 rooms on the lower floor of the house are for guests and the upper floor of the house is the home of the owners. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. I slept very well on my double bed. The shared bathroom is cleaned daily and there is plenty of hot water in the shower. The large kitchen made available for guests has many cooking pots, pans, and utensils. The location is on a quiet street, only 5 minute walk to the world famous Blue Bay Beach!

The shower is a bit small for any large person, but it is managable.

Very warm welcome by the hosts. The bed was comfy, and I appreciated the access to a kitchen, plus free tea/coffee.

Other people arriving on the second day were too loud - you hear everything through the thin room doors that do not fully close. My room was to the street/veranda/outdoor eating area, and I would have appreciated thicker curtains (they were half-transparent; felt a bit exposed).
