Houseboat De Amstel

Great location. Perfect view..

Prachtige houseboot erg compleet met zelfs een kano. Fijne ligging. Vriendelijke en snelle communicatie!

Dat de tijd te snel ging met die leuke koekoeksklok… ;) hadden hier nog wel langer willen genieten!

Clean, end of dock, peaceful.

Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich, die Beschreibung, wie man das Hausboot findet, könnte etwas überarbeitet werden - selbst Menschen, die dort wohnen, konnten mit der Beschreibung nicht viel anfangen - zumal das Bild leider nicht ankam!

Wir waren jetzt im April/Mai dort, da ging es noch von den Temperaturen, aber ich denke, dass im Sommer eine Klimaanlage nötig wäre, zumindest ein Lüfter! leider konnte man das Fenster im Master SZ nicht komplett öffnen, was sehr hinderlich war für ausreichend Zirkulation!!

En fin husbåt med fint läge i hamnen. Vi såg många båtar åka förbi i kanalen utanför. Hög standard och sköna sängar. Vi hade tre bra dagar. Bra parkering till bilen.

Das Hausboot ist liebevoll eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause. Es lädt zum Entschleunigen ein. Kaffeemaschine, Toaster und Wasserkocher – alles ist vorhanden.

Der Weg zur Bushaltestelle war zwar grundsätzlich kein Problem, aber wenn man etwas nennen müsste, das weniger gefallen hat, dann wäre es eben dieser Weg.

Las camas muy malas, el sofá horroroso para poder sentarte. Ni un canal en español. La Wifi no funcionaba bien y la limpieza muy justa. Para 4 el espacio escaso Muy lejos el super. Sin posibilidad de alquilar hicis

Tout. L’emplacement, la gentillesse de Marc, les équipements, la décoration. Tout est rassemblés pour passer un excellent séjour.

Il faisait beau (tant mieux ;-) ), mais du coup il faisait trop chaud dans la chambre des enfants.

One night no internet

The setting of this houseboat is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed lounging while boats silently glided by. The location is fantastic & we so enjoyed walking into town. Everything was very clean. Communication was great. Mark and Linda are lovely people. We very much enjoyed talking with them and also the neighbor boat &their sweet dog, Stephie.

The cabin could get hot during the day. It does cool off nicely during the evening. Mosquitoes don't tend to like me --so they are not an issue. But, they did get my husband. I think adding a mosquito net which you could hook/hang over the bed as an option would be a tremendous relief from getting bit, especially during the season.

The view, the idea of staying on a floating house.

Too hot, we could not stay in the house from 2 Pm till 7 Pm. Too many spiders and mosquitos around.

The houseboat was truly a lovely experience! Amsterdam was the last stop of our 14 day tour, before returning home to Asia. This added a really sweet finale touch to our trip soaking in the atmosphere on the houseboat. The boat was comfy, clean, had everything you would need and oh...goegeous sunset views! Mark n Linda were awesome hosts, extremely helpful, warm n welcoming! Lovely n friendly neighbours from the boat next door too!

The surroundings were absolutely awesome, we really enjoyed hanging out there.

The Wi-Fi did not work at all.

Its a lovely place. Mark and Linda gave all the informations to spend a good Time.

WE like everything but a micro wave and a miroir in the living Riom will be welcome

We loved everything! The hosts were lovely and kind.

Close to Amsterdam, very easy to reach by bus. Nice town close by, safe and quiet marina. Quiet, very clean and cozy place to stay. Has everything you need! Had a very very nice time here, would recommend to anyone!

The boathouse, marina and the small city are very beautiful. Mark provided all the details and information, plus as we arrived quite late he was very kind to meet us and go together to the houseboat showing around and explaining where/how to go. Overall the houseboat is very spacious, clean, and have all the amenities you need (except toiletries - shower gel, shampoo, toothpast, etc. - so make sure to bring with you or buy at the local supermarket)

Nothing major but the access to the houseboat is on wooden slates over the water so take under consideration if you are and/or travelling with people that have mobility problems.

Lovely location on water with a pleasant walk to shops and food. Located in a beautiful area of the country.

Due to lack of any devices to move air, such as air conditioning or fans, the heat made our stay extremely uncomfortable. The only two windows, in the bedroom and bathroom, only opened a few inches at the top and there were no screen doors to allow cross-ventilation. Many flying insects came in, when we opened the doors for air. We received many bites. Extra towels/thicker bath mat would be nice.
