La literie n'était pas très confortable pour nous mais cela dépend des goûts

Super logement, rustique mais le confort est là. La vue depuis la terrasse ou l'on prend le petit dej et le diner est incroyable. Idéalement situé pour aller aux cascades d'Akchour (10 min en voiture du parking de départ de la rando).

Erg vriendelijke eigenaar (Bernardo), goed ontbijt en we hebben lekker gegeten 's avonds. Mijn dochter was jarig en Bernardo deed moeite om het bijzonder te maken met vuurwerk bij haar dessert. Het uitzicht was ook erg mooi en de omgeving is heel rustig. Fijn dat er ook hangmatten waren bij de kamers.

Het was 's nachts erg warm en er waren helaas geen ventilatoren in de slaapkamer die niet gekoeld werd door de airco, daarom hadden we helaas niet goed geslapen. Een ventilator neerzetten daar zou al een hoop schelen. Bij aankomst moest ik ineens een grindweg omhoog nemen om bij het hotel te komen, dit vond ik best spannend omdat ik dit even niet zag aankomen en het was vanaf de doorgaande weg best steil.

Ci è piaciuto molto questo refuge: stanza bella, pulita, spaziosa e arredata con gusto, vista bellissima e un’atmosfera davvero piacevole. Ottime anche la colazione e la cena, buona e abbondante, con prezzi molto convenienti.

L’unico disagio è stato il bagno: dal rubinetto del lavandino usciva pochissima acqua e anche la pressione della doccia era piuttosto debole. Inoltre, il rubinetto è talmente vicino al lavandino che rende poco agevole lavarsi le mani. Per il resto, un soggiorno davvero piacevole, che ricorderemo con piacere.

Un hôtel situé dans un bel environnement entouré de montagnes, petit bémol avec la route en contrebas. Une position idéale pour une nuit après la visite des chutes. Les repas étaient de qualité - dîner et petit déjeuner.

Un peu déçus par la chambre, petite, peu aérée et très chaude malgré le ventilateur. Rien à dire sur la propreté impeccable.

Heerlijk rustige omgeving. Wanneer je wilt bijkomen en genieten van je omgeving is dit een heerlijke plek om te zijn. Alberto is de eigenaar. Hele fijne man. In de ochtend een eenvoudig ontbijt. Niets mis mee. Met een gids de bergen en watervallen bekeken. Top!

Hahaha wij sliepen in kamer 5. Helaas zonder hangmat. En onder een vijgenboom. Heerlijke geur, maar in de nacht vallen de vijgen op je dak en schrik je je een geluk. Meerdere keren rechtop in bed gezeten.

Staying at Caiat Lounge Refuge Mountain Lodge feels like stepping back in time, to a simpler life where you can truly slow down, enjoy nature and incredible views. The peaceful mountain setting, the atmosphere and especially the hospitality made our stay unforgettable. You arrive as a guest, but Bernardo and his team make you feel like family. L’endroit est exceptionnel et l’accueil est digne d’un hôtel 5 étoiles. La nourriture est excellente faite avec les produits de la région. Merci au propriétaire pour sa bienveillance 🙏

A stay we will remember for the rest of our lives, the hospitality, the staff, the view, the location, the food, everything was perfect. 10/10 recommended, 10 mins away from the best cascade trail in morocco, and close to many other hiking spots. If you love nature and feeling welcomed, this is the place.

Bernard !!!! Le maître de maison est tellement sympa, plein de bienveillance envers ses clients. Il est en outre très professionnel. Il tient cet emplacement qui est de toute beauté, niché dans dans la montagne. Le spot est idyllique, les petites cases pour dormir sont aménagées avec beaucoup de goût et de simplicité tout en confort. Amateurs de bling bling, s’abstenir ! En revanche, pour les amateurs d’authenticité, de calme, de partage et de rencontres humaines : cet endroit est fait pour vous. La nourriture est super bonne en plus, faite maison par Arhmed. Un séjour ressourçant pour nous. Merci à tout le personnel tout aussi sympathique. Le service taxi proposé par la famille est d’une efficacité redoutable : très bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande à 10000% cette adresse !!

A brilliant location with dramatic views from where to explore the Rif Mountains. Akchour waterfalls close and a treat to visit - especially as free! Stayed in a cosy cabin with its own outdoor space. Excellent freshly made food from a restaurant looking directly out at the mountains; great to eat indoors or out. Breakfast on the outdoor restaurant balcony a treat to wake up to. Generous, welcoming and fun host (Bernard) was fantastic company. Highly recommend!

The place has an incredible view and the staff is super friendly! The food was absolutely delicious. Muy recomendado! Its an experience to be repeated.

Es ist nicht leicht, in einer so abgelegenen Gegend eine Unterkunft gut zu betreiben. Das schafft das Team um Daniel aber! Sehr nette Leute. Bekamen einen extra Receiver, weil das Internet des Hauptgebäudes nicht bis in unser Häuschen reichten.

Für das, was es ist, sind 70 € doch ein wenig teuer.

Es difícil describir con palabras la magia y calidad de este lugar, hay que vivirlo. Es un lugar en mitad de las montañas del Rif, donde hemos podido descansar y disfrutar de la naturaleza más plena. Tienes una habitación con terraza, en la que literalmente cuando te despiertas y abres la puerta lo que ves con tus ojos son montañas y vegetación. Se respira muchísima tranquilidad. Además Ahmed y sus otros compañeros, son personas muy atentas y tranquilas. Hemos venido aquí por recomendación de amigos marroquíes y ha sido todo un acierto. Nuestra habitación tenía una pequeña piscina encima, por lo que pudimos refrescarnos en plena ola de calor, viendo las montañas. Todo un acierto. Sobre la comida: la cena, buenísima, abundante y a buen precio. El desayuno, también magnífico y reconfortante. Desayunar con esas vistas... no tiene precio. Es un lugar donde vas a descansar y desconectar, espero que siga abierto muchos años y poder visitarlo pronto de nuevo inshallah.

Mooie, rustige en wat afgelegen ligging, maar zeer goede uitvalbasis voor de God's Bridge hike en de watervallen van Akchour. Leuk verfrissend zwembadje op het dak. Lekker diner à la carte, uitgebreid ontbijt. Zeker een aanrader voor wie vroeg op pad wil om te gaan wandelen!

I had tried to book direct, and told that they had no rooms. I found a room on Booking.com I booked it and got confirmation that my booking was confirmed. Please note Le Caiat is 6-7km from the start of the walk for waterfalls. I didn't think they made that clear and I had to get a taxi instead of being able to walk from Le Caiat. When I arrived, I was struggling with my case up the stairs to it, when a member of staff just walked right by me. I was ignored at reception (it's in the middle of nowhere and it was clear I was arriving to stay) and as I'd arrived 30 mins before check in, I took a seat but no-one approached me. Eventually I went to them and they indicated that they didn't have my booking, with no sense of apology or reassurance. I just waited and after a while I was beckoned and they'd found a room. There was no information in the room about the restaurant for dinner (again it's the middle of nowhere) or breakfast (which was included) or any helpful information written or spoken. I speak English, French and Spanish and I just had to keep asking questions non-stop, it was hard work! There isn't meaningful wifi in the rooms (and some have none at all), all the facilities advertised next to the rooms, where not necessarily the room, but the property (views etc..). I had a bath in my room but no plug and when I finally managed to get one from reception is was pointless, the shower feeds the bath and the bath is huge so it would be impossible to fill whilst still being hot. I was on my own, and I just felt zero care and hospitality from the staff. It's a shame because it's a beautiful place and the organisation, communication and staff really let it down.

Simple but delicious breakfast in absolutely stunning setting, sunny terrace overlooking spectacular scenery. Also great for dinner with a menu featuring authentic Moroccan fare. Our room was more like a suite with a separate lounge area, roof terrace and outdoor seating as well as comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Everywhere was spotless and fresh, literally fragrant with orange blossom from the garden outside. Exceptionally good value and our favourite stop this trip.

Nicely lost in the middle of the mountains, great view and surrounded by nature. Even if we were the only customers, we could still order food on our arrival. Really nice room with a living room included and all the outdoor areas. Was a bit quiet on a weekday in April, but at a better time and with more customers, the place must have a great lively feeling.

The Caiat Refuge is the perfect place to explore nature and hike in the nearby nature park. Waking up to the mountain silhouette never ceases to amaze. Daniel is a fantastic host and introduces you to the reservoir. I thoroughly enjoyed hiking with Fdel and Mohammed, the tours with them are a must! Breakfast and diner is also great. A perfect place for nature lovers, can only recommend.

For the area, this refuge felt like an oasis. The staff are amazing,the location is superb. It was great to have running water, delicious food and spectacular views. We could not have found a better place.

The menu has a wide variety of food options, all of which are super tasty, affordable, and well prepared. I can't recommend the food enough; it's really good. Overall, Caiat Lounge Refuge is an excellent choice for anyone looking to escape the hustle of everyday life and the noise of the city and indulge in some fantastic food in a very calming and beautiful atmosphere, breath fresh air and enjoy the nature and the walking in the nearby mountains.

Our room had a large sitting area with fabulous views over the mountains. The bed was comfy and the hammock on our balcony was a lovely touch. The food at supper and breakfast was delicious and the staff were all very friendly and helpful
