Reviewed Dec 25, 2024I arrived late at night and was warmly welcomed by the host family. Despite the hour, I was able to check in smoothly and enjoy a delightful dinner around a bonfire. The property is beautifully maintained—clean, green, and serene. The host’s daughters were exceptionally kind and open for a chat, adding a personal touch to the stay. The room was simple but comfortable. First thing in the morning, I even had the chance to play a fun badminton session. The host went above and beyond by dropping me at the cab stand later, which was greatly appreciated. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the entire stay offered excellent value for the price. Highly recommended!

Every July we take a Tour to enjoy the summer vacation and this year (2024) we had a great experience staying in this home stay. The landlords are like Lords who fulfill all your requirements. Even when we came from Howrah to NJP at 11 O'clock at night BHAIYA himself brought us to the home stay in his own car. We have become like a family in a very short time. The dishes, cooked by Bhabi (landlord's wife) were delicious. The courtesy and the delicacy of BHAIYA and BHABI catch my ♥. I recommend everyone to gather this homely atmosphere. Thank you BHAIYA & BHABI.

Road to the home stay is not proper but soon it will be RCC road as per Mr Sharma.

Reviewed May 4, 2024Green View Home stay is the kind of place where you're coming as a guest and leave as a friend. We were supposed to stay 1 night only and ended up staying 4 nights, because we enjoyed it so much. This place is in a quiet and remote area surrounding by the forest, there is many medicinal plants (tulsi, neem, aloe Vera, thankuni, patcharchatta) which make the place so special. More than a place to sleep, we lived a full experience: visiting Siliguri city, monastery, even got invited to a wedding party and wearing the sari and cultural clothes 😍 That was the best human experience we had so far in our travel. We will definitely come back and keep in touch with the family of green view home stay 🙏

Reviewed Apr 14, 2024The surrounding. Lots of birds came in the morning. Lots of plants in the property. The owner cooked a special green leaves in the breakfast upon our request. He is a very nice person.
A couple visited the property at the same night when I had the booking. There are two rooms, one is normal size for 2 and another a smaller one. The latter is appropriate for one I would say. I had a booking for bigger one. My sister and I arrived early and had taken the room for which I had the booking. Latter the couple arrived and was not satisfied with the smaller room. The owner requested me to shift to the smaller room while I was already resting after dinner. We are dead tired after 10 days of high-altitude trekking. Although it was a request, I found it very weird when the request was made. I had the booking for the bigger room, then why should I shift to a smaller room? Everything else was great about the property and the owner.
