To be honest the noise…. I expected it somewhat but it was pretty disturbing…

The room was spacious, and the beds comfortable enough.

You have to fight your way through the bar crowd to get to the manager behind the bar to get the key to your room and be pointed in the direction of the stairs. There are no bellhops to help you with navigating two flights of stairs with your baggage. There is construction in the area and you can't get close to the entrance of the bar/hotel. The noise level from the bar ends around 3am. The bathtub has unusually high walls, so not useful to mobility challenged folk. No one around to help you get there luggage back down two flights and down the street to the car park.

Room was comfortable and clean The premises on the main st of Killarney.

The Disco I only received news of that its on all week, when I finally had paid for it on line. Perhaps I'm getting old but even though i was on the top floor I honestly thought my bed was on the dance floor. Kept going from 11pm to 3am. Suitable for the younger generation.

　部屋は綺麗で広く、場所も良い為、快適です。 右側の入口から入りますが、左側のパブで声を掛けて、チェックインする事になります。 　ちゃんと、土曜の夜は、夜遅くまで、ミュージックパブは盛り上がるよ！と言ってくれてましたし、なんと部屋には耳栓も用意されていました！ 　　 　夜、自分がウーハーの上に乗っているのでと言う初めての体験をしました！凄く良い思い出です！

The cost was way too high for quality of room. Not being able to fall asleep until 4-5 AM because of the noise of the bar and trash disposal was miserable and ruined our experience.

The pub music & dance club were excellent! However, the room was not as nice as photos showed.

Never again! Over priced, i understood it would be noisey but i couldnt close the bedroom window because it had no handle so i was getting full volume of the outside street, the beds were 100% not changed from previous guest, they were covered in stains and so were the towels in the bathroom...the following morning no staff around to make a complaint to...i stayed in a different hotel the night before that was €30 cheaper and far superior to this place...

El preu, un poc car per a només una nit. Tot i que s'avisa en fer la reserva, hi ha molt de soroll de música per la nit, perquè la planta baixa és un pub.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, rooms were clean and had what we needed. Yes, there was noise from the pub downstairs, but we were forewarned in the property description prior to our stay.

Madness in the alley below our room until 2:30-3:00 a.m. The listing for this hotel DID warn of the music on the ground floor in the pub, but the alley was like a primal scream event. 😏

Location was superb. Bands were excellent.

Rooms were hot, no fan or way to cool them. loud at night (forewarned), but also in the morning- crashing tins and bottles and draft keg resupply. Also no fresh towels during the entire 4 night 5day stay and room never cleaned. No one to contact for same.

Desde el hotel avisan que puede haber ruido y te Dan tapones para los oídos de cortesía pero no es solo el.reuido la habitación vibra entera cuando está la discoteca de 23h hasta las 2 o 3 de la madrugada. Cuando esta la música en directo con loa tapones vale pero cuando es la discoteca es horrible pasamos 3 noches regular. Solo lo recomiendo si vas a salir todas las noches y tu intención es ir a la fiesta, si vas a ir de visita turística no. Las camas pequeñas, estábamos en una habitación de 4 personas y podrían haber puesto alguna silla más y tener una nevera que cualquier hotel lo tiene. El baño bastante viejo y la bañera incómoda.

There was no staff to great us we had to ask security how to get to our room. Rooms were on the 3rd floor, a long carry up. There was no breakfast and the overall location was still noisy even after the band finished playing.

Could be forthcoming about room location and lack of elevator.

Very dated, musty smell in corridors and bedroom. Check in was after 3, we arrived at 4 to find the doors locked, rang the hotel twice but no answer. It was only when someone was leaving that we gained entry. Disappointing overall.

Great bar, great music, room was comfortable but it was above a nightclub so very loud which I knew and was fine with that.

Its above a nightclub, didnt bother me slept fine.

Loved staying above the bar and enjoying a whole night of live music!

Bis auf die Lage nichts

Auch wenn bei Anmeldung von Seiten der Unterkunft thematisiert wird, dass es ein Pub ist und laut werden kann, so ist ein Schlaf überhaupt nicht zu denken, da die Lautstärke auch nachts bis 3:00 Uhr morgens extrem ist. Ohrstöpsel helfen hier überhaupt nicht. Alle, die an Schlaf interessiert sind und nicht bis morgen früh Party machen wollen, muss dringend von dieser Unterkunft abgeraten werden. Es bestehen keinerlei Schallschutzmaßnahmen. Trotz geschlossener Fenster fühlt er sich an wie auf der Autobahn zu liegen.

Very hard to get in contact with by phone call, tried multiple times but never got an answer from anyone

We did not have breakfast. It was impossible to talk to a manager or person in charge. Whoever we talked to said the manager was not available or won't be there until later. We never found someone in charge.

The water went out in the middle of the night. We were trying to get ready for bed and the water shut off. The bar said there was no one to help us but they sent us 12 bottles of water to our room. I tried my children's room but they also had no running water. That is a problem you need to fix. I have a hard time telling others to stay there if you have this problem. There was no water to flush the toilet. Also, how can I wash myself with bottles of water? SO crazy! In the morning we asked for a manager and they said no one was available. We tried to call but it was impossible to leave a message or speak to anyone! You need help!

Super Unterkunft um in einer Gruppe in Killarney unterwegs zu sein. Das Pub und der Club im Erdgeschoss sind ein Traum!

Die Securities am Abend sind ein bisschen grantig.

Stay was uncomfortable, no air-conditioning, no fans provided, went to reception to see if we could get ice, nobody on reception, waited for a half hour. Went into hotel bar and staff igroned us for another half an hour. They had stopped serving, we were not looking for drink or to be served, if someone acknowledged us we only wanted some ice as we were suffering from heat exhaustion. Eventually one lovely blonde young girl helped us after all the men (4 of them) all igroned us. I would hate to see if I needed real help. Very unhelpful.

Super fun. Nice people. They tell you it’s loud but it didn’t bother us because we go to bed late and the room was super comfortable and the best night of sleep we had in Ireland.

The accommodations were very sloppy... The place smelled musty and the hallways were smoky. The room was hot and we could not open the window because of the heating unit for the building was outside our window. We stayed 2 minutes dropped the keys on the bed and left scrambling to get other accomodations. We fortunately found other accommodations for our 3 days/ 2 night stay in Killarney. Lost $434. We stayed above another pub in Dublin and it was wonderful, clean and worth the $

Comfortable, clean rooms with complimentary ear plugs and tea/coffee facilities. The room was for three , I had booked a large double and a double bed but it turned out a double and single . But, it worked out for us. Glad to get the room on a busy match day in Killarney.

The check-in experience was awful. They didn’t have our names and said that “Booking.com is terrible”. However, a phone call or calls were made and someone did have our names and the room was ready. We were half an hour waiting at the booth. Chaotic experience . I didn’t see a lift and we had to carry our admittedly small cases up 3 flights of stairs. No offer to help which was strange, as we were 3 women only.

This was a great location and the rooms worked out well for the family.

Since our rooms were above a pub and we arrived early, we had a bit of a difficult start because we were trying to ask about the hotel keeping our luggage. We had a hard time finding someone in charge who could tell us their policies and how things worked. I'm not sure we ever found someone in charge, but it did all work out in the end, so all good.

The location was the key point for this hotel.

It was 85 degrees in Ireland when we were there. There was no air conditioning in the rooms. The rooms were so hot and the windows only opened about one inch.

The name wasn't posted anywhere from the street. We had to go to a neighboring business to find out what pub it was in.

> Room 213 at Killarney Grand Hotel on a Friday night was absolutely unbearable. The disco started around 11pm and the noise continued until 2am. This wasn’t “background music” — it was wall-shaking, sleep-destroying noise that felt more like torture than a hotel stay. Any suggestion that ear plugs would solve the problem is laughable. Even full industrial ear defenders wouldn’t have blocked out the noise levels coming through the room. I would genuinely invite the owner to spend one Friday night in Room 213 and experience it themselves. No guest paying for accommodation should be expected to tolerate that level of noise until the early hours of the morning.

Unfit for purpose, someone needs to inspect this

Perfect location sparkling with Irish culture, lovely shops, cozy pubs, and the most gorgeous national park attractions all within walking distance! We partied for my 40th birthday in the music hall, then danced in the club, making new friends. It was just delightful and dreamy~ we can't wait to come back!!

On the second night, we were a bit too tired to party into the wee hours again, having walked the park the entire day. The club music downstairs was fun to listen to, but did keep us awake. I eventually used the complimentary ear plugs, but my partner did not, as we needed to be up early next day to travel and be able to hear our alarm. Still, it was a delightful and fun experience!
